Ice Cream was really good I came in on a busy Thursday night with a friend we ordered two quarts and a medium. When the worker was almost done preparing it she was little off and had to get more ice cream she made a comment to a co worker I'm a little short. The co worker proceeded to say what fatasses ordered all that extremely rude and disrespectful and loud enough that customers could hear. Needed a quick treat last night, so went on doordash around 10pm when a serious craving kicked in. Ordered a strawberry banana yellow cake milkshake with whipped cream on top (don't judge me). It was pretty good. Only problem I have with cold stone is that their fruit is always super frozen with even freezer burn on it sometimes, so my milkshake tasted more "slushy" than creamy, and the little strawberry pieces were hard as ice - not super enjoyable. No complaints over here even though my order wasn't ready when I got there. I waited like 5 minutes tops and bought candles which they should have given me the option to purchase online. Had to go around the block twice to get parking and it's a pandemic but again no complaints what so ever. My cake was fresh and perfect. So many flavors to choose from! I used to be surprised that there was a long long line here at night...I thought it was because of Lynbrook theatre. To my surprise, the theatre has been closed for over a year now and people will still pile into Cold Stone at night. I like what i've gotten here. There are a few meter spots outside. I prefer to walk here and pretend to have walked off some calories. Like most ice cream shops, patrons can sample flavors. Customer service here has been great every time I visit. Be ready to stand on line for a while though. Since the menu is pretty big and very customizable, it takes a while to do each order. Their decorated waffle cones look sooooo good. I ordered 2 cups of Halloween icecream and specifically , I made a note to add the extra toppings separately, guess what they didn't instead my icecream was black and melted upon taking out of the bag , it was not only upsetting but really disappointing I paid close to 45 plus tax tip everything even for faster service . The mess , I had to clean from opening one of those was rolls of paper towels It was just melted black on the table around the cup , I was so upset , I forgot to take pictures of the awful presentation of my so called ice cream It was obvious the person that prepared ice cream didn't care , just everything in one black globe of a mess , at least I was hoping the second one was better , it wasn't even looking attractive enough to taste . The customer service here isn't really good. The staff behind the counter look super miserable . They don't greet you, or ask you if you are ready to order. They just look at you until you tell them your ready to order. They don't acknowledge your presence at all. I guess it depends on the time of day, but I went there twice after 10pm and the same people with the same dull attitudes have served me. Cold Stone ice cream will always be Cold Stone Ice cream, but the service should be up to par. My guy was not there and I should have known I was not going to get what I wanted. He made all the substitutions and special requests so that I got exactly what I wanted. In general this location has more flavors (ie Oreo creme filling ice cream) than the one on Crossbay and way more generous with the portion sizes.
