A good friend recommended this bakery and I understand why. It's small inside but they bake an incredible amount of goods. We have tried the regular original cheesecake, strawberry (I think) topping cheesecake, key lime, mini original cheese and mini cupcakes. All good, fresh baked items. I really like the cheesecake - light, not too sweet, right amount of crust, light zippy taste of cheesecake. Done SO well. Seriously, thumbs up. The mini cheesecakes are great because you get to try a little bit of everything without having a lot leftover and not feel so guilty and weighed down. They said they can literally top it with anything you want since the base is the original cheesecake. Also makes for great gifting and sampler sizes for gatherings. There are little boxes of cookies as well as a huge selection of cakes and pies. Their tiramisu was a bit frozen on the inside, but the outside looked good. I usually go with the chocolate mousse. I decided to try the whistle stop bake shop and was not disappointed. I stopped by on my lunch break so the place was empty. The staff was extremely friendly helping me choose and wrote happy birthday on the cake for me. I also decided to get a small cheese cake additionally since they're known for it. My husband's absolute favorite dessert is key lime pie and I have searched far and wide for the best, this is IT.
