This is a review by a vegetarian $2.99 (tax included) for a "like it" (they should sue Facebook or vice-versa) sized milkshake is a good deal. The kid went into the strawberry ice cream three times with those paddle pairs. Then he added some strawberries,... and blended. There didn't seem to be any milk added at all! it's strait-up softened ice cream with a boost of berries. This place has really falls to the bottom. We waited for 7 minutes with only one customer ahead of us who was already paying and with 3 workers there. We ordered it with waffle bowl and both were really hard, stale and unchewable! Also it is not very clean. Service was not up to par. Over all worst experience from Cold Stone! read more

If you been to one cold stone you been to them all.. nothing different from any other cold stone establishment.. plenty of great flavors to fill your ice cream desires.. Now to my issue with this cold stone.. I placed an order for a "CARS" the disney movie decorated ice cream cake with the toys.. I paid for my cake in full that same day and when I picked up my cake a few days later there was a cheap knock off design that I didn't ask for.. I didn't receive the toys on the cake like I had initially paid for.. they did give me half of my money back which is cool on their behalf.. and even though they messed up the cake design the cake was still very good. read more

The ice cream is great, of course.. Just like any other Coldstone. The service is bad though. Literally EVERY time I've been to this location they've gotten something in my order wrong. I don't understand why they can't pay more attention to what they're doing. Also, they take a very long time to mix your ice cream with the add-ins so by the time you get your ice cream it's halfway melted. If you like that then great! But that's not really what I'm looking for when I want good ice cream. Overall, ice cream here is decent but overpriced for the bad service you get. read more

Terrible service. One of the workers behind the counter was using profanity loudly and avoided helping the other person I was with when there was no one else in line. The one helping us was texting on her phone. Barely mixed the ice cream and toppings and just scooped extra ice cream on top when she didn't have enough to fill the cup. Charged me for bigger sizes at the register and when I mentioned it to her and reminded her of the sizes we actually got, she said "yeah" while not looking up from her phone and did not fix the total. I didn't even get to go in, but the thing that did this place in for me in terms of rating was the fact that they changed their summer hours to close at 11 pm instead of 10. The thing about this was that the employee's were cleaning up at 10:40 pm and had locked the door. This isn't like a sit down restaurant where they cook stuff so I just didn't understand why they would close 20 minutes early and lock the door. After verifying they closed at 11 by looking at the new time sheet on the door an employee told us they closed at "10", but I was clearly looking at something that said "Our new Season's Hours" and Friday said they close at 11pm. Not only was I lied to by an employee but management as they neglected to honor their stores hours. I can be 100% sure I will not be coming back here again, even when I know they will be open. read more

Cold Stone is normally my favorite place to grab ice cream, however, last night was an all around poor experience. The person taking our order made us feel as if we were inconveniencing her while we chose what we wanted. She has some piercing thing dangling from her nose, which at a food place seems unsanitary. Then the other person to help us was friendly, but as she was making my ice cream someone asked for the bathroom key, which is connected onto a huge serving spoon, and the lady stopped making my ice cream, handed the guy the spoon key, and without washing her hands went back to making my ice cream. When my boyfriend chose his ice cream, the lady got through making it all, and then tells us they're out of the lemon Oreos they use, which is the main add in. So it was too late to change the order. Great ice cream! The staff are friendly and willing to offer you samples of any flavor before you buy! The prices are a little expensive but the quality of the ice creams make up for it. Their cakes are delicious too, and if you customize it they make sure it's the way you ordered it. The inside is a little small, especially when it gets busy, but overall it's fun, friendly and delicious place to be! read more

So we went in and had to wait forever. Which I didn't mind. But then they messed up on our orders (I think they may have been new) which was fine because they fixed it. But the thing that got me was they over charged us by A LOT. And when we tried to ask why the total was so much, they got angry at us and started to yell......which I don't understand why, we where in no way angry just confused and she yelled at us....and over charged us. read more

If you want nasty melted ice cream then this is the place for you. Ice cream on display looked like it had been melted then refrozen and there was no organization in identifying the ice creams at all. Also nobody seemed to know what anything was and it took 5 minutes to get the workers to make us a signature like it size ice cream that is on the wall *hits forehead* geez. So after they make our ice cream it's melted so I ask why my fiances ice cream. Is melted and they say it's like that because the whipped cream was added.....then I look at mine and it's also melted and mine is only mint ice cream with oreos....and I ask why mine is melted and they say I don't know. And instead of offering to give me ice cream instead of milkshake in a cup they looked oblivious to what ice cream is supposed to look like. I mean come on it's winter and 39 degrees outside!??? How can you mess up icecream!??? 2 like it size signatures for 11$ No thanks. I'll stick with ritas ice cream where the ice cream is actually ice cream and the people know what they are doing and prices are reasonable. read more

U have to ring bell for service, and if u have a coupon they get upset. She had to go ask if I could use a cold stone coupon. The manager came out stating the owner loses money but she will take it. I usually have a good experience at this coldstone, however, I drove from Atwater and got to the store at 9:40pm. I walked up and tried to open the door and realized it was locked. I looked in and they said "we are closed". I pointed at the sign that said they closed at 10pm. They didn't seem to care. If your sign says you close at 10, you should close at that time. read more

Meh is right! I've patronized other Coldstones in California, and have always found them to be well-managed. This one? Not so much. The store was dirty, the employees slow and non-plussed about their jobs. In addition, the ice cream just didn't come up to the standards that I'm used to for a Coldstone product. Seating was limited. And of course, Coldstone ice cream is premium-priced. I don't mind paying more for a product that is excellent and served from a clean, well-run business. Worst service I have ever had. Went in with friends after work the two girls who were working that night were rude and kept asking us what we wanted while we were trying to read the sign with all the different ice cream options we weren't really paying attention as we were laughing and reading the sign. That annoyed them and they kept saying little comments and rushing us. When we went to order gave us dirty looks and were just plan rude. We didn't understand what we had did wrong. One girl while making our order taller girl said I don't care if they have their order I just want them out of here. My friend paid they left the ice cream on the counter and didn't even tell us it was done. I will be going tomorrow to talk to the manager as I have never been treated so poorly anywhere. Avoid at all costs until they train their employees on better customer service I know everyone can have a bad day but to be rude just to rude when people are out having a good time and not being rude to them is just wrong. read more

Took my daughter there as a special treat and have to say the service and the experience was so bad by the time we actually got the ice cream I was no longer in the mood to eat it. After waiting in line for a ridiculous amount of time we got a trainee in which NO ONE was helping her and moving on with the rest of the line until no one was left and YES we were still waiting on our order. Then someone comes in to order a cake and they ask the trainee if she wants to decorate it so she runs to the back and we are left at the Register with no one checking us out. The two other employees one I think was the actual manager were busy wiping down the counters and ignored my daughter and I until I mentioned loudly to my daughter that hopefully someday someone would actually check us out so we could leave. It was hands downs the worse service we have ever experienced. I would rather get ice cream at the store then be treated like that again. I will make sure to tell all my friends as DO NOT WAISTE YOUR TIME there or your money that establishment deserves to go broke! read more
