I understand that October is not a prime tourism month in Myrtle Beach. I understand that the folks who work in the retail shops might be a little bored at the lack of customers. But if you are in the front of the public, you have to do better than what we experienced tonight. What we saw here tonight was a sullen, unsmiling, zero personality of a counter-person. By matter of contrast, a half hour before we walked into this empty Cold Stone, we lefty an equally empty King Kong Sushi where we had dinner. But at King Kong, we had the pleasure of dealing with an absolutely delightful young lady (Veronica) who was about the same age as the cheerless young lady at Cold Stone. As for the ice cream, it was excellent, I had a small dish of chocolate cake batter with Heath Bar mix-ins.

Very clean location, very nice staff. The ice cream was great on a hot day and it's right next to the little kid rides onBroadway at the Beach

I visited this Cold Stone while on a family trip this weekend and I have to say I wasn't impress. Not because of the ice cream because the ice cream was delicious but because of the service and the store. We entered the store and everybody was in the back of the store and all you could hear was ppl laughing in the back ( FYI you can hear ppl coming in, the boardwalk is pretty loud) it took them a few minutes to come out. No greeting, no welcome to cold stone, nothing! We asked to taste one of the flavors and went ahead with our order, my husband wasn't sure of his flavor so it took him a minute to make a decision meanwhile another female came out and asked my husband very unprofessional if he had made his selection. (No People skills!) When we went to pay the counter was so sticky, I had to go wash my hands after paying. (Pictures attached for the bathroom) I asked the cashier when was the last time they cleaned this he just gave me a nasty look. When walking out we wanted to sit inside (hot outside) but the floors and tables were dirty and with empty containers on top. We decided to take our ice cream outside. I was very disappointed because cold Stone was my first job in high school and I know what kind of training they put you through in order to make the customers visit enjoyable.

Rust and paint flaking off the ceiling vents, directly over the food prep area.

So happy that cold stone was right next to our hotel! We had cold stone twice this past weekend due to its convenience.

What's better than a sweat treat on one of the last days of the year before starting another diet…read moreand making another NY resolution to cut sugar? Nothing! That's why we took a little field trip to Nothing Bundt and grabbed one of each...red velvet, chocolate chocolate chip, and carrot cake bundlets. The lady that assisted me provided general customer service with a smile. But, she provided A+ customer service to the group ahead of me. I say this because she was tremendously patient with them...as they were very indecisive and took their sweet (pun intended) time discussing amongst themselves what they planned to get. They didn't care that others were waiting behind them. Kudos to the NB team member for keeping a smile on her face and patiently assisting them. Once we secured our package and got settled back at the ranch, we sampled all of the bumdlets...and of course they were tasty and moist. You can't go wrong patronizing Nothing Bundt if you want to grab a quick little something to satisfy your sweet tooth. This is also a great option when having a get together, family dinner, or holiday/special occasion gathering. Happy eating

Super, super small location. I was very surprised by that. Not the easiest to get to as you see…read moreit from Highway 17 business. You basically have to get off 17 and go around back. Plenty of parking lot parking for it. They have maybe 8 to 10 flavors of mini bundts (bundtlets) and full size bundt cakes. Dang, they know how to charge for these too. A bundtlet will run you $5.50 plus tax and it's definitely made for just one person. We've tried key lime, lemon, carrot cake and red velvet in the last year (either through purchase of gifted on a birthday) and honestly, none, not one of them knocked off our socks. They're just mid...kinda meh. These might be worth it if you get emails from them that offer you a bogo (buy one get one free), but that's about it. I'd say, don't go out of your way for these bundtlets. I've yet to try one that made me go "WOW."

This bakery is in a plaza of shops and restaurants; it's not visible while driving down Man Street…read more I tried a crookie, which was nice and buttery with almost more like a cookie dough baked with it. I also had a brownie. It was very chocolaty and almost gooey like raw brownie batter inside, which I personally like. The shop also offers baking classes. It's a modern and spacious interior. Prices are a bit in the higher side. I like that the menu offerings change (like what flavors are offered) and I want to try some cookies and the gooey butter cake next time!

My experience can be summed up in three words, " not worth it". I've lived in the area over 40…read moreyears and I've eaten at almost all the restaurants this area has to offer. My wife and I received a gift certificate as a wedding gift and decided to go on Tuesday June 24th. We chose the test kitchen which samples wines with three foods. First of all, we chose the VIP seats, which were $85 each as opposed to the house seats which are $75 each. I'm still trying to figure out what I got for the extra $20 when we were seated further away from the Chef than anyone else. Then I was disappointed to find out that the owner had given the day off to her entire staff because of a big event the day before. So effectively, we were in the "hangover" category for customers. I have no concern about a special event the day before, but it should not affect the service and the presentation of the food, and right off the bat I felt like we were getting short changed because everybody was given a day off. Next, all we got was a salad and a serving of wine, then a piece of flatbread with a little bacon and potatoes on it and a serving of wine, then another salad, which was cucumber slices with some whipped cheese on top, and a serving of wine. I was expecting three distinct dishes instead of a couple of salads and an appetizer. She did give us some pasta salad to go that was left over from the previous event as well as a sample container (ala lunchables) which had some chicken salad, watermelon, grapes, and Gouda cheese. She also threw in a small dessert. Honestly, I would've done better at a deli at Publix, where we could've gotten something equivalent along with a bottle of wine and still saved $100. After leaving, I felt like we needed to go through a drive-through fast food restaurant to actually have a meal. This was definitely not worth $170. I would've much rather spent that at a restaurant and had a full meal with a bottle of wine. Maybe my experience was not good because of the event the day before, but I can only judge it by the time that we were there. Maybe it's like this every time which is why I'm writing this review. If it's not like this every time then why were we short changed? Not recommending this to anyone. Thankful for the gift from my son and his wife, but the money could've been better used elsewhere.
