Customer service is always great here! The staff is warm and welcoming and always has a smile on their faces. It's not on the board, but they do have kiddie scoops! (This you can verify with camera footage and the time stamped receipt. I have had two orders: one like it with Oreo, brown, and cookie dough. And another like it with brownie, Oreo, chocolate shavings and brownie. Why was a charged for two signatures plus two mix ins? They'll be honest with me which flavors they don't like, but I still tried and loved the one with rosemary in it. I'd rate Cold Stone right in the middle - decent ice cream, but not overwhelmingly fantastic. My overall experience at this location was good - the staff were not overwhelming friendly but made sure to say "hello" as I approached the counter. The shop looked clean, display case was filled with take home items, and the line moved very fast. As for the ice cream, it's always a guarantee then you'll get a heaping serving of ice cream no matter what size! I got the smallest size (the like-it) of the birthday cake remix which is very very sweet. It has chocolate sauce, sprinkles, and brownie mixed in the cake batter ice cream. The toppings were mostly mixed all the way through. The part that really gets me is the price. For the smallest size it was over $5. I would definitely say that this was overpriced for what you get as you could go to a local ice cream shop and get almost double or triple the ice cream for that price. In a pinch this would be a good place, but I definitely have other places in mind. read more

The staff is not friendly, rude and they didn't mix in the "mix-ins", just dumped them on top. Isn't that the point of this place?!? I also called the hotline after leaving the store and reported the incident. The next day I received a very strange text message from a person who said his name was Ben. He told me that he had received my complaint and that they would provide more employee training. The whole experience was very strange and unprofessional. This place is one of the best once cream places in the area; yes, it's better than Dairy Queen, I'll explain why. With Dairy Queen, the last few experiences I've had there (at the state road 37 location), almost all of the blizzards were melted, but this ice cream chain has one thing that DQ doesn't have, and it's consistently bringing a good experience for customers. You also get to choose your ice cream flavor and toppings, unlike Dairy Queen. Ditch Dairy Queen and come here. read more

Bought our 3 year old a kids size scoop....for $3.50. The price of a quart of ice cream at the store. Excitedly, he grabs it off the counter and drops it. Not a single bite. I use to go to Menchies which was next door because it satisfied my ice cream cravings and yet was inexpensive, however, now that it is closed we have at least this establishment in HTC. This place is expensive but does provide a variety of flavors and products from ice cream, smoothies, to cakes.
