Woah. The let you order online. Let you get to store, ask for your paid for and promised by a certain time order and person has no idea what you're talking about. Not a we haven't made your order yet, but a 'huh? we don't do online orders at all" kind of confusion. "Oh, you mean DoorDash?" Uh no. I mean ice cream for my freaking self. Girl gets flustered when I say no, just trying to pick up ice cream I ordered abs paid for. Girl WALKS AWAY. WTF New person comes to register, kindly helps a few people behind me? Says she'll help me shortly. She's lovely, honestly, and can't explain wtf was wrong with girl who doesn't understand you can place orders on the cold stone website. Smart, sweet girl looks for my made order and nope, not made. Apparently they are out of mint ice cream. She can't list the flavors they do have. but the next two flavors I try to pick they are out of. Such flavors as chocolate and one of the vanillas. Seriously?! They finally are making my order at this point, so that's a plus. Then she motions me over and tells me the fancy waffle bowls I paid for (x2) aren't in stock. In fact, al they have are the plain waffle bowls. More money wasted to not get what I want. In the end, out of $14 of ice cream plus waffle bowls, plus the $3 tip I stupidly gave online, I got literally 0 items I ordered and paid for, and I had to wait 20 minutes at the shop to get them. Overpriced ice cream you can literally go to any of the family own ice cream store and get better ice cream for cheaper. The thing that really grinds my gear is they put up flyers in my apartment complex that they are hiring when this apartment has a no solicitation policy. Like yea I want your $12 hour job. read more

What an awesome place to get a sweet treat on a Saturday evening! My lady friend and I were served by a delightful young man named Peter. He was a tall drink of water that had a flair for theatrical service and an eagle eye for detail. He concocted a creation that was alchemical in composition! So delicious!! And a bright young man with flaming red hair named Henry assisted us at the till. He processed our payment with the precision of a tax accountant. So accurate! And yet so polite! Online there hours say they close at 11pm. We get there at 9:02pm Friday night. There were 3 workers behind the counter and no customers. Lights were on and we walked in. When we get to the counter (after looking at their fridge flavors) they tell us they're closed?? So why are there 3 workers? Why did you wait 3 minutes to tell us? Why were the doors unlocked and lights on? Maybe update your hours online?? They didn't even apologize. Just quickly looked away as if they were lying. I always like the ice cream, the price is fair when you consider other ice cream shops in the area. Every time i go in they have a different flavor to try, as well as the same classics. I took a star just because the wait was a little longer than I'd like, and the space in the mall gets a little cramped for all the traffic it gets. I am not one to complain I work in the service industry myself but this place has the worst service I have ever encountered in my life. Asked for a milkshake girls didn't even know they had to blend it or that there was even a mint chocolate chip option. Employees kept touching each other's butts and making inappropriate jokes in front of customers, as well as taking pictures and videos. They never greeted the people behind us and they ended up walking out just as mad as we are.They Made the milkshake I asked for but filled the large cup half way handed it to me and said "sorry it's not all the way full" my boyfriend asked for the biggest size in a founder's favorite they didn't even give that. When they handed him the cup there was more ice cream spilling out the side then in the cup. The girl who was supposed to be training them when I asked for her said she was in the Back doing paperwork and was supposed to be training them then proceeded to roll her eyes when I told her the problem. Worst customer service experience I've ever had. I sent in an order online and when I arrived at listed time the order was not ready. The worker told me "this order is going to take way longer than you think, look at the line" there were four people in line. I proceeded to wait 20 minutes for her to work on my order in slow motion while everybody in line watched. In that time, Cold Stone lost 8 customers because no one was being helped even with three other people behind the counter. One of the three continually wiped the same two surfaces with a dirty rag. read more

I'm only giving it 4 stars simply because sometimes I feel like the flavors are off. I work at the Cinnabon that is in the same location and I have tried probably every flavor, even the new ones. I think right now mint is still my favorite. There are probably not many people that realize we get new flavors often! My personal favorite besides mint is a banana oatmeal cookie batter shake with pecans. I can vouch for the cleanliness and awesomeness of the staff. I see them 8 hours a week. Mix flavors, your experience will be a lot more fun. read more

I agree that the prices are high, but I also think the ice cream is really, really good. It has that perfect mix of creaminess and flavor.

The staff was rude. They closed the store thirty minutes early when we walked in and even though they were serving the person in front of us, they refused service to the two of us. read more

There were 6 of us who ordered ice cream. Those taking orders and filling the orders were very unfriendly. We asked one the girls what flavors of yogurt were available. She said she didn't know and didn't even try to find out. After standing and staring at us for a few minutes a young man walked up and she asked him. Annoyed, he flung his arm across all the ice cream. We had to remind of our orders several times. In the end we were short one milk shake. The young man who made that one was obviously annoyed. He slammed it down on the counter. If these young people don't want to work there, they should quit. We will not stop here for a treat when we are shopping at the mall. read more

we went to this cold stone on october 28th. the young man that was working was a prime example of quality customer service. he was happy to help us and was very personable. he went above and beyond by not only recommending ice creams but even offering his own "secret menu" items! not sure how corporate will feel about that, but we found it very entertaining. cold stone should consider adding his apple cinnamon shake to the permanent menu! our cookie dough ice cream was heavenly and we 12/10 would revisit this site. thanks cold stone! read more

I usually love Cold Stone Creamery! I looked up online how late this specific location would be open and it said 11 pm. At the time it was 10:30, we walked into the store and they said they were closed. The lights were still all on, the door was unlocked, and there were multiple workers still behind the counter. In the future I would suggest locking the door if the store is closed, or updating the online times. read more

One of my families favorite ice cream places. Many options to please everyone. The price is about the same as any other ice cream places and you have many different flavors and add ins to choose from. They have a cinnabon as well at this location so if you're not feeling like Ice Cream you can have a Cinnamon roll. read more

This cold stone really needs to hire or schedule more people. As a manager of a similar industry, it was frustrating to me to see a line to the door with 2 people working on a Saturday afternoon, with both of them missing a sense of urgency. I normally am pretty forgiving because I know it's hard when it's busy, but they didn't apologize for the wait, or even acknowledge me with my husband, she instead decided to try to make his ice cream and ring him up before even asking what I would like, even though she knew we had been together. She could tell I was visibly upset by the end and seemed to treat me even worse instead of making up for it. I don't blame the employees, but they do clearly need help, and need the knowledge of better guest interaction. read more

After a Fun Family night out we thought we would go and get some Ice Cream we went to one of our Families Favorite ice cream places ColdStone in Orem and as we were picking out what toppings we wanted we look through the glass and there were FRUIT FLIES EVERYWHERE some were alive and some were dead it was so gross they were also a few in the Ice cream case as well. I went in tonight for dessert. First of all, they didn't have any cookies, not a huge problem, but I decided to order the "No Fair Funnel Cake". I grossly overestimated Cold Stone for having quality ingredients. They brought a pre-made funnel cake out of the back somewhere and threw it in the microwave. When it was prepared and given to me, it was disgusting. I went back to the counter and explained that it wasn't good and asked if I could have something else instead. They said they could only give half off of something else rather than a complimentary product. I certainly didn't want to waste any more of my money at this place, so I just accepted defeat and threw it in the trash after my starving little brother took a few more bites since we couldn't do anything else with it. read more

Haven't had good service or enough people working the last few times we've been but tonight we left and went to the Cold Stone down the hill. There may have had enough people working tonight but they were slow and I was blown away when an employee came out and asked us to tell anyone else that came in that we were the last ones There were only 4 people in front of us and it was 10:24, they closed at 10:30. It's not that the ice cream is bad....its just really not that good. For the price you can find better ice cream in the freezer section at your local market. Neither my wife or I finished our "kid size" cup. There were a couple small things that bugged us as well. After we picked our flavor the employee asked us "Which mix-in would you like?" We weren't familiar with the pricing system and figured the mix-in must be included.(Especially when we saw the amount of mix-in that was carefully measured out - literally HALF an Oreo) We were wrong, they charged extra. Not a fan of sneaky sales techniques. After getting our ice cream we attempted to find a table and had to settle for a cramped table in the corner due to the fact that the rest of the tables were covered in various amounts of melted ice cream and garbage.
