Store wasn't cleaned from night before, went just after opening. My milkshake wasn't very thick and didn't have the whip cream or the drizzle over it. My sister got one of the treats in a bowl that looked nothing like the picture of what she ordered, my milkshake didn't either. For a $9 milkshake it should look exactly like the picture and much thicker than what I got. Bag of power tools just laying in front of a non working fridge, in the lobby/dining room. Not sure I will be back at these prices, although I might as I didn't check in before I ordered. Although I had plenty of time to do so! i'm so excited this place is back open with a new owner! I've come in a few times and everything was very tasty. My only reasoning for knocking off a couple of stars, is due to the topping's. the previous times i have ordered there, I have felt slightly cheaped out on the toppings I asked for. I asked for hot fudge and there was a drop in my cup... i thought they forgot it entirely until i saw a smallllll drop of chocolate- yes i'm aware these toppings get mixed in but i couldn't taste it or see it and this wasn't a problem beforehand. Been to cold stone a couple times at multiple locations and this seems to be the best one. The one in Dartmouth I would not advise going. Peanut butter ice cream is a winner. Coffee ice cream doesn't seem popular at this location. They make their own waffle cones. Generous portions. When you eat ice cream you really want to be comfortable. I sat in my car with the windows down; fresh air. And I took my hat off. read more

All I wanted for my birthday while recovering from surgery was an ice cream cake. What we got from cold stone - 5 hours later than the agreed pick up time - was a melted pile of chocolate mush, missing 2 of the 3 mix ins, no frosting, no name on the cake, the "happy birthday" appeared to be written by a 5 year old, and the entire thing fell apart with the first attempt to cut it. This was at 7pm when it was too late to come up with a plan b (after ordering a week in advance for an 11am pick up time). Thanks a lot cold stone for helping make sure I had no birthday cake at all, after sending my husband twice to leave our plans to drive across town to pick up a cake that wasn't even close to ready. I love Cold Stone but this location just isn't it. I've been many times to the location in Boston - usually a one men show and still Way better service. The staff is slightly rude and seem to be unaware of what to do. They were asking each other what to do especially after I told them I have an allergy. I'm not sick yet so crossing fingers. The space is also dirty tripped over the mat at the register to only uncover water residue and water napkins that might have gotten caught. Our preordered cake had the wrong name written on it and was in dark purple writing which you couldn't see over with the dark chocolate top. It was also missing the decorations on the top of the cake and looked like a baby wrote it. We had to stop to get light colored frosting/ we had to scrape the entire top of the cake off and redo it. read more

I have been here a few times and it's really a hit or miss. Usually, it's a miss. Lately the ice cream is nearly melted and they still serve it to you. After 5 minutes, my ice cream is mostly soup and is no longer enjoyable. I personally don't like melted ice cream so when it's like this, it's super frustrating. I should have asked why it was melted and if all their ice cream was this way, but my anxiety took over and i just left it. Cold Stone Creamery at Colony Place is small inside, but the ice cream is tasty. The staff aren't overly friendly, but the ice cream mixed with toppings to order is amazing especially on a hot day. Called the store 5 times today during business hours but after numerous rings, it went to voicemail each and every time. Finally went into the store and asked the turn over time for the cakes displayed in the catalogue by the door. The employee said, "Oh, I think you have to call for those." I immediately replied, "well I actually called 5 times today but no one ever answered." Seeing that three girls were working in a mostly empty shop, I had some frustration but stayed polite and well-mannered. She looked rather embarrassed and said, "oh sorry......I don't know anything about that." She asked a fellow coworker who I'm guessing might have been the shift manager. Rather than asking any questions like what specifically I was looking for (a Batman cake), she just said she'd check in back. After a minute or so, she came out and said she couldn't find anything and recommended I call tomorrow to speak with the manager and see if they could order any of the smaller characters. I replied that wouldn't work since the birthday was tomorrow and asked if the pre-made cakes in the freezer could at least be personalized with words. She responded that yes, they could. I picked the cake and handed it to her asking that it say, "Happy Birthday Batman." She proceeded to take the cake in back and upon return found that I was feeding my son a kiddy cup of ice cream. She asked if I wanted a bag and offered to put it in the freezer until I was ready to go. I said sure. I then took my son to the restroom which was positively filthy. Toilet full of urine and toilet paper, seat covered in urine, no paper towels, overhead light flickering and barely working....just gross. I came back out and said I was ready for the cake. They sent a girl in back to get it and upon return, the bag was tightly knotted closed. I took the cake and thanked her only to get home and find a pretty disastrous looking cake. The lettering had clearly been done incorrectly which required a redo, so the white frosting was now smudged blue. The writing looked like something from a preschooler and the cake had been placed on the far side of the cardboard base causing it to smoosh against the side of the lid and push the candy pieces and sprinkles off a bit. Clearly that bag was offered and intentionally knotted tightly closed to prevent this customer from seeing the atrocity of a $40 cake! Talk about a rip off! read more

The service for this location has dropped dramatically since we have lived in Plymouth, and while the last year has been tough for everyone, when multiple locations of one of your favorite companies close all around you, you hope that those still remaining would be filled with people trying to keep a high standard. This past Friday, I ordered food and dessert online for my wife to bring home after a shopping trip. Sadly, due to extreme negligence, our food got cold after the difficulty she had picking up a simple half gallon of custom ice cream. When she showed up, she asked for the order under her name, and the confusion began. The order was due to be ready at 7:37 according to the email we received, and when she showed up at 7:50 it still wasn't ready. In fact, that's when the chaos started as the workers seemingly couldn't find the order at all. Instead of following it up with profuse apologies or any sense of urgency, they instead continued to fool around joking with one another and other customers (a group of teenaged boys). At first, they seemed to almost blame each other saying that they may have given our order to another online pick up. Then, my wife quickly said it may have been under my name and when they looked, still could not find it amongst the other online orders in the freezer and others being made. They were quick to try to give an excuse that the printer never printed the order, yet by our count, they had at least 4 other online orders that they were referencing. It seemed unlikely that the printer was to blame if it worked perfectly fine for those other customers. Then, when my wife showed them the online receipt, she explained the order and started to tell the person about the add-ons we had paid for (3 cookie dough, 2 caramel, and substitute cake batter ice cream). The person then cut her off saying, "I know, I know," when clearly it was a customized order (literally the concept of the company). He thought he would just roll with it saying "I got you, I got you." After starting to make the ice cream (all while joking around with the other customers), he asked "so cookie dough....what was the other thing?" She replied 3 cookie dough and 2 caramel. "Oh yeah, yeah I got it." Clearly he didn't. Our dinner was now in the car cold and she barely got a "sorry bout that" as he passed the half gallon of ice cream to her. Later that night, my wife began to scoop this treat for us and our boys, and we were even more angered to find a small amount of cookie dough and one whole peanut butter cup when the ice cream itself was suppose to be filled with pieces of the candy as it was described to feed "everybody" To finalize this experience, when I called the next day to complain about the issue to the manager, the shift leader went on to tell me how there is no manager. While my experience was quick to be cut off by the person on the phone with a quick claim of, "I will definitely address this" they seemed ready to hang up but didn't bother to gather any information about the order, the time or what we purchased. I quickly stopped and asked if there was any options to earn back our trust and offer any discounts for future purchases or some type of refund for the $20 half gallon of ice cream that left us all disappointed. She said she had no power to offer any type of compensation, and then referenced an email she could provide to send in a complaint. After she kept me on hold for over 5 minutes, she came back on giggling and simply tried to guide me on how to write a complaint through their website. The explanation came with no true attempt of making me aware this was through the website and she simply said, "I Don really know how to do this, I have never complained about this company." I am thoroughly disappointed with how downhill this company has gone, especially this locations and whatever they seem to do to manage this team. read more

Although its cool to have different things put in your ice cream, I don't see the appeal to this place. The ice cream was OK but wouldn't go out of my way to get ice cream. It was a nice day but the place was quiet the whole time we were there. They also offer cakes & specialty items. Located in the Colony Place Plaza (Along with Gamestop, Olive Garden, and a lot of other stores. The kids didn't even rave about their ice cream but it was good. I can't believe I'm saying this but I tried cold stone creamery even though it was cold out! They make a fantastic array of different dishes, mixed in front of you, but practically anything you can think of put on top and added in. Next time I visit I want to try a waffle cone dipped in chocolate or Caramell drizzled ice cream. However when I visited last time it was for a traditional hot fudge sundae with whip cream vanilla ice cream and extra hot fudge. It was really good and I highly recommend this place! read more

In all of my travels I have always found myself returning to Cold Stone Creamery for their wonderful ice cream. It is a little more expensive than going to your local McDonald's, but the quality of the ice cream is only the highest, and they use only the freshest ingredients. I recently went to the Plymouth location in the Colony Place mall and had an awesome experience. The service there was the fastest out of any other establishment in the entire town, and the kids working were so friendly and polite I even went back the next night just to experience it all again. The ice cream was awesome, and they had way more flavors than any other Cold Stone I've seen in this area. Everyone in the place was having fun, both customers and workers. This Cold Stone is definitely awesome and I would recommend it for any one looking to experience a great time and some great product. read more

This place is awesome! There are so many choices you won't believe it. When I walked in the first thing I smelled was cinnamon and sugar and it smelled like heaven! It was pretty busy for being the middle of the afternoon on a Wednesday, but the line moved quickly, even with just one person working. I've been to Cold Stone before, but this one had a lot more flavors than any other I've been to. The girl working there was really nice. I tried a lot of new things but went back to the old standby, Cake Batter. This is a great place to get ice cream. It's a little pricey, but the taste more than makes up for it. Cold stones is my favorite place in Burlington apparently...I went to the one in Plymouth and no one was in there when we went in. Upon going in first thing I noticed was the filth that was on the rugs and all around the floors that may have come in from outside being how windy it was. I immediately said if I was the manager and just walked in, I would be so mad!!! I told the girl I had a gluten allergy and she did pick out my items from the back room away from the front t and mixed it in a separate bowl instead of the frozen slate which was very nice of her. She did say be careful of the strawberries they are frozen. Wow!! They were totally frozen I could not even try to bite them!! My friend commented on the floor and her snide remark was...
