wow, of all of the ice cream places that I have been to. this may have been the most unorganized environment ever. To name just a couple of the things going wrong. It seemed that while I waited to be served, workers would be in the back on their phone or talking to each other after finally having some form of service provided to me I ordered. sweet cream, ice cream with snickers. after receiving this ice cream if you do not know the main theme of cold stone, it is that you get a topping and they crush it and fold it into your ice cream. When I was served my ice cream I had fully intact snickers bar as a worker rushed to get my order done just to immediately go back and talk to his coworkers in the back. I would not recommend coming here, but rather take the two minute walk to go to Afters ice cream shop. read more

Finally, they took our order and those that helped us had zero personality. They were in such a hurry to get us out. It was very obvious. It was as if we were bothering them being in their business. However, there was one young man named Josh who is super sweet very helpful and exhibited awesome customer service. We were there on Friday, March 25th. The only positive about this establishment was Josh. He should be recognized for his great customer service and wonderful personality. I was surprised that we were charged only about $2 for what is ordinarily a medium (Feared it would be closer to $5, with a single topping). Either way, it made things sweeter. I went twice this week. 2/18: two girls were in the back eating. When I walked in one of the girls dusted her hands off on her apron and proceeded to attempt to serve me without bothering to wash her hands. When I brought this to her attention she rolled her eyes at me and walked to the back. 2/22: four guys working. Rubbing their noses, ears, scratching their hair, collecting cash, and never bothering to wash or sanitize their hands in between customers & transactions. Sat night and the line was long so I watched this go on for a while. When it was my turn I asked a guy that told me his name was Jason to please wash his hands before he started & he clearly took offense to the request. In fact, he never finished serving us at all, just walked off and starting doing other things. In the end this same Jason person took our payment & instead of telling us the transaction was complete or thank you, he simply told us "step aside." Where do I even start. First of all the shakes are way too over priced I watched them make the shake. About 1 part ice cream 10 parts ice. It was practically liquid. But price is something I can't control, I just won't go anymore. My issue was they ran out of rainbow sprinkles which is my favorite topping I only get that with bday cake and brownie. So I was already bummed about that. The most ridiculous part here was my ice cream was scooped and sitting in the bowl and at the register for (3 min) yes I counted waiting to get a lid and be rung up. When I walked in to Cold Stone there were like 5 or so employees on and I was the only customer there. They barely said hello, and asked what I wanted before I could even look at the menu. I was stared at rudely as I decided what to order, like I was wasting the girl's time. I ordered a love it size, and when the girl was mixing in the ingredients she put just a teeny tiny bit of each thing in. Then she BARELY mixed it together, so the cookie dough ended up being two huge chunks that broke the plastic spoon later when I tried to eat it. When she was putting the ice cream in the bowl, it barely filled the cup. Almost seemed like a "like it" size put into a "love it" cup (not that I care about the amount, because it probably saved me a stomach ache later- but it was a waste of money). Not sure I'll be back. Good thing VG has Afters Ice Cream and a great Gelato place. read more

I'm a sucker for anything ice cream and I love cold stones. Yes they can be a bit over priced but they have good flavours and their signature creations are delicious! I always order the small and I'm lucky if I can finish that I can't imagine getting anything bigger. I love the strawberry banana rendezvous and the strawberry blonde (I'm not really a chocolate person but my sister got the mud pie mojo and she said it was really good)! I've had their strawberry mango shake before and it's just whatever...I'm only in it for the ice cream :) when you start adding more toppings into the signature creations or the build your own that's when it starts getting pricey so I stay basic AF. The management of this location is AWFUL!! They leave people in charge who clearly don't want to work or don't know how to. One girl who appeared to be in charge or something was on her phone the whole time while other employees were hustling trying to help the long line of customers. Came to this location multiple times to give it multiple chances and each one proved to me why I should just stop going all together. First off I would like to point out that I understand customer service workers working through Covid can be tough, however that should not excuse why EVERYTIME I went in the workers looked absolutely miserable. First time I went the girl didn't even ask me if I was ready she just awkwardly stood there until I was ready to order. I ended up ordering an Oreo shake with extra Oreos. She told me it'll be extra and I said that was fine. When she made my shake she literally put two Oreos inside the shake. When I pointed it out to her she was really rude and put two more Oreos inside. The shake also turned out extremely watery because she basically had to blend it again when she put two more Oreos inside. I went again two weeks later and I got an Oreo overload in a love it size. When I got my ice cream they didn't even give me a spoon to eat it with, I had to ask for my spoon which is really annoying. And everytime I ask for something there they make it seem like it's such an inconvenience. And the last and final time I went I asked for whipped topping mixed into my ice cream and the girl didn't even do it and I asked if she did and she lied and said she did and proceeded to charge me for the extra topping. So I came here tonight and it was horrible. We drove all the way from Montclair here because we love cold stone and we craved ice cream and this was the closest cold stone to us. The girl with the pink hair and the girl with the blonde hair seemed seemed to rush us out and had a little bit of attitude. Well there was a tray of ice cream on the shelf not even in the freezer that they scooped ice cream from, then when we got the ice cream it was already dripping because it was already melting. I just paid and left but all 3 ice creams tasted like it was very spoiled and we all came home with stomach aches, we didn't even finish it, we threw it right to the trash.
