This is my husband and I's closest cold stone and so we've come here quite a few times. I will say, almost every time we walk in we are not immediately greeted nor helped as it seems that the staff don't have a bell or something like that to tell them someone has walked in. I would think getting something like that could be beneficial for safety and to greet customers as they walk in. Additionally, unfortunately , in order to use the restroom you have to ask the staff to unlock it. This is a bit of a more expensive ice cream shop and so I do wish the overall experience was more welcoming. The ice cream is tasty though! read more

We door dashed cold stone and although everything tasted great it was unfortunate that the attention to detail wasn't there. I ordered the cheesecake fantasy. I ordered it with no blueberries and add yellow cake. It came with only strawberries and very little gram cracker if any. It was disappointing. Everything else was pretty simple and the rest of the fam was happy with their order. I'm sure this wouldn't have happened had we gone in person and I'm sure we would have paid much less. We came on a Sunday afternoon & had a fairly standard experience. I made eye contact with an employee once we entered, but wasn't greeted until someone came to help us. However, the server was friendly, & she made it a nice transaction for my little one who was excited to pay for her own cup with a gift card she had received. We ordered 2 Signature Creations--a "like it" size of Birthday Cake Remix & a "gotta have it" size of Cheesecake Fantasy (without the blueberries). Both were very yummy combos that we enjoyed. The ambiance left a lot to be desired though. There was a general dirtiness to the floor, as well as debris. A ceiling fan was on & along with the lights, it created a strobe-like effect. The door has a notification alarm that is a loud "bing-bong" every time it opens. Also, the small papery napkins are no match for melty drips. Surprisingly contrary to all these reviews on yelp about their bad customer service, I had no problem with it....I actually received friendly and welcoming service. The ice cream itself was good. The waffle cone was super stale so ended up asking for a new one. The store itself was not really attractive as they had very few seating and the tables were dirty. Staff don't clean them while they have no customers. Overall it is just okay. They are open late even during the covid restriction and it is about the only one dessert place you can find open after 8pm. read more

Have not been to a Cold Stone in probably years since my quest in trying to eat healthier but we had a coupon that was only good at this location. The cpn was for B1/G! Love it size which is a medium. I always get the same thing but usually a small. I get the strawberry shortcake. She put ONE strawberry and this tiny cube of cake in it. When it was all done you can barely see anything in my ice cream. I thought for a medium it would have more than ONE small strawberry in it. So chintzy. I don't remember having so little put into it. Ice cream still tasted good but I basically had vanilla ice cream with a hint of strawberry. The hubs had a little more stuff in his that you can see more of and he enjoyed his. We placed an order for delivery on 05/27/23. We live about 10 minutes' walking distance of Coldstone. The order was delivered in less than 5 minutes after they told us it had been picked up. When we opened the order, We noticed that the ice cream was nearly melted. I also noticed that the " apple pie a la cold stone" had so much cinnamon, it was nearly inedible, not to mention improperly mixed. I don't think I will order again. read more

There were 2 males and a female working. The female was being loud and obnoxiously flirting with one of the male co-workers. She went to take my order and instead of listening to what I was ordering, she was too busy still flirting with the coworker. I tried to stop her but she never paid attention to what I was trying to say. I asked her other coworker (who had nothing to do with the flirting situation) if he can remake my order and he said yes I can. The female noticed he was remaking the ice cream and she said "what the fuck she watched me make it." That is an unacceptable comment by all means. Stop flirting with your coworker and do your job. You get paid to make personalized icecream, not to flirt obnoxiously and make your customers uncomfortable. I will not be returning to this cold stone. The customer service was terrible and I was not acknowledged here. She then proceeded to talk shit about me to her coworker in front of me, and only stopped when she saw I was staring at her and heard every word she said. My girlfriend and I had a gift card from my sister and we finally, after at least two years, decided to use it. I was slightly hesitant at going to this location as I (usually to my detriment) was taking the Yelp reviews a bit too seriously. We went anyway as it is really close to our house and driving almost anywhere in Roseville is tantamount to a visit to hell, so we were saving our souls in going to the closest location possible. They had COVID safety measures in place and both my girlfriend and I were treated very kindly and our orders were packed to the brim with delicious iced cream, with accent flavors in the form of sweet foods made small and added to the frozen creams. I believe I was experiencing one kind of cheesed cake fantasy, while my female partner embraced choice and created her own concoction of chocolate and flavors. The writing was sloppy, the strawberries weren't placed nicely and the frosting looked like it was melting, but it wasn't. It looks like this because they smashed the strawberries into it. I need to also add, that when I went to pick it up, I had to use the restroom there. It smelled like someone had peed on the floor a few days back and it hadn't gotten cleaned up. It was disgusting. Disappointed in this location. First, we ordered a small size chocolate ice cream with sprinkles. The guy gave us a medium size and then just throws the sprinkles on top, didn't even mix them in. Then I ordered mint with kit kat and Oreo. It was barely mixed as you can see in my picture. Full pieces of kit kat. We were the only people in the place too, so the employee had no reason to rush.
