Unfortunately this was the worst experience at an ice cream shop we've had. There seemed to be a multitude of problems during our visit. Cleanliness of the store inside and out is poor. Once my wife finally made it through the line, the first bite of her ice cream contained a red piece of rubber, presumably from a utensil used to mix the ice cream. Due to the incredibly long and slow moving line, we just threw hers away without bothering to make an issue of it. All of this was not even the main issue(s). The worst was seeing how busy the store was, and watching one of the workers stand off in the side room messing around on her phone instead of helping her fellow coworkers get customers in and out faster. It was just ok. Staff seamed miserable and lazy. Dirty tables that could have been wiped down but workers chose to ignore it and hang out together in the back . By far the nastiest sidewalk in front of this place! Ever hear of a pressure washer? That was my first impression walking into this place. G R O S S! read more

The employees at this store are horrible. They are more interested in taking to eachother than doubt their job. I've been in at least a dozen times recently where they were obviously ignoring the customers and working incredibly slow. The past few times, they always seem to be out of something one of us wants. If this place keeps going downhill, I'm definitely not even going to bother going here anymore. read more

My husband and I went yesterday to get out of the house and was extremely disappointed at the girl working. It's a stressful time in the world and my husband was asking how to order since we can't come inside and asked if we could write our order and show it at the door. She was so rude and from there it just got worse. When he was trying to order on the phone he would say the order and she wouldn't say anything then a minute later ask "anything else?" And he'd ask if she got the last thing he ordered and she'd rudely interrupt and yell back what he said. He ordered a surrender to strawberry and just asked for a surrender then began to correct himself and she would interrupt again yelling back that she got it. Then when it came time to go to the door to get the ice cream she was yelling (while sitting down behind the counter) to call and ask if the order was ready. We watched them make it AND on the phone she said to come to the door in a little bit. Then she would yell (still sitting behind the counter) to go to the other door and my husband walked back and forth between doors until the other worker grabbed the ice cream and gave it to him AT THE FIRST DOOR HE WAS AT. The worst customer service I have ever experienced and that girl needs some lessons not just on customer service but on how to be a decent person ESPECIALLY in a time where the world needs everyone to just be nice. Our order was wrong- ordered two mediums got one medium and a small and a kids order and the kids size had more ice cream then the small. Pretty sure she way over charged up. We didn't even want to go back because of how nasty the girl was to us before. read more

Don't be deceived by the open signed being "TURNED OFF". Google their hours/walk up to the door. Been there twice and the last time it was 40 minutes before closing and their open sign was turned off. Hey... I need my good Ice cream. Fool me twice... Shame on you. read more

I'm not even sure I would give this one star but I had to pick one. We walked in, immediately smelled curdled milk, then walked out. Disgusting. When I was in school cold stone creamery was at its prime..One of my favorite places to go. So sad to see that place go to crap. read more

I've been here three times and never have heard them sing, I've also tipped each time but still no singing. The ice cream is good and the workers are usually pleasant, but they aren't overly friendly or welcoming. I looked at the menu online before coming in the other day and when I ordered what I wanted they had no idea what I was talking about, I pulled up the online menu and showed them and they said they never heard of it. I read to them what was in the ice cream and they messed it up pretty terribly and it wasn't very good. It's a tradition that we go to Coldstone every time I go to Oregon but I think I may have to find a new place as I seem to be disappointed whenever I go there. read more

I love their ice cream but it's not worth the terrible customer service. I was in there a few days ago. There were 3 people working. A line was out the door. One girl wasn't even helping customers she was organizing the toppings. I heard one of the workers complaining customers always show up right before they close. This was an hour until closing. Everyone got snotty looks from the workers and they didn't even talk to customers, only to each other. Not a single customer was greeted. Even when I said thank you, have a good day i didn't get a response. It was disappointing because I remember when they 1st opened and you wanted to tip so they would sing. I was in there for over 30 minutes and not a single customer tipped because of the poor service. read more

Last week we got a little taste of summer; it was about 80 degrees out there. One of my friends and I had the day off from work, and we decided it was a perfect day to get some delicious ice cream. We decided we would try out Cold Stone Creamery. Atmosphere: This is a perfect little place to just come in for a bite of ice cream, very clean, and very family oriented. You're constantly feeling very welcomed by all of the staff on duty. Big plus, the bathrooms are very clean! Wait service: As soon as you walk through the door of the little shop you're greeted with a very warm, welcoming greeting, and of course a friendly smile. The staff is very helpful with answering any questions about their products and giving you free samples for tasting. Quality: They have a wide verity of toppings to choose from that they mash up into your special ice cream creation. If you are also having a hard time choosing for yourself they have a menu board of about 15 creations for you to choose from. They can also do shakes, and if you like your creation so much you can get a whole ice cream tub of it! Found that to be very cool! Value: You get more then what you pay for! Its ice cream over load no matter what size you pick. I love how it's unique compared to all the other ice cream shops that are around here. They mash all of your toppings into your ice cream so you get some with each bite, instead of just at the top of your ice cream. Price: You get what you pay for, no matter the size or the toppings you add. You just pay for a "Like it", "love it", or "gotta have it" nothing else but the size you want. The people who are working right now at 9:43 on nov 18th were extremely rude and not helpful in anyway... I asked what the difference between some flavors were and the response was sarcastic and not helpful. They all three did not seem eager to help us or give their attention to us. They seemed very annoyed that there was a line. I feel that they were lacking enthusiasm and kindness. read more

I'm honestly not sure where to start. I was craving ice cream so we decided to hit cold stone. We arrive to see a cash only sign on the ice cream cabinet. We quickly check to make sure we have cash to cover our order. We do, so we wait in line. Several people leave because they cannot use credit/gift cards. Seems crazy to me for an ice cream shop to be turning away business in January... but okay. It's our turn to order and I order cake batter with heath bar in the got a have it size. I am told they are out of that size cup so they'll put it in the larger pint containers... okay. My husband orders the peanut butter cup perfection in the same size. I pay while we are waiting for his to be made. While they're making his a gal comes up to say something is wrong with her ice cream. The gals woking start asking who put the chocolate ice cream in. They're laughing and then someone tastes it. Turns out they put a mint ice cream in the chocolate space. Now they need to restart my husband's ice cream. I felt they should have redone the other person's fist as they had ordered before us but, again, okay. One person behind the counter is trying to get the correct ice cream and remake orders and the other two just start taking new orders. I felt everyone should have been focused on getting the already paid for orders done... but okay. While waiting we heat one of the employees tell someone that the credit card machine is down because it freezes every time they get busy. That is crazy... regularly turning away business? We finally get out ice cream and head home. It was a short drive home but by the time we got here both ice creams were really melted and we were unable to eat them. Meanwhile it was freezing in the store and smelled funny. The people working seemed to be doing the best job they knew how to but management oversight at this location is severely lacking. read more

This is a dirty smelly place. Don't go there it is disgusting. We walked in and because of the smell we had to leave the place. It was a smell that one couldn't take....the floor was dirty and it was a place that shouldn't stay opened the way it is. read more

I love Cold Stone, but this store is a bummer. The customer service is mediocre and the cleanliness is an issue. I brought a couple of my kids out. We waited in line for 10 minutes then left after I watched as two different employees ran the cash register and failed to wash hand before returning to food prep. Really gross. We left. Also with this visit I noticed employees hair barely restrained. This is also gross, not to mention that both of these issues are very basic for public health. Gross. Won't be coming back till I hear it's changed. read more

This location needs some serious management help. I have been to this store a few times, the ice cream is yummy (of course) but I usually get 2 different people making my order and one of them seems to be in training. I always get my order to go and I have to ask for a lid each time, also I always get the "gotta have it" size and one is usually overflowing and ends up leaking through the lid onto the seat of the car and the 2nd one is usually only 1/2 full. Staffing seems to be mainly young kids and this is their first job. Never any good customer service, dirty tables and the one whom I assume is the manager doesn't ever want to do any of the general labor duties and always dictates to the subordinates to do the "dirty work" I don't think I've ever seen any of the employees actually smile one time each time I've been there. This store could use some real help before it gets out of control. read more

Visited Cold Stone on a date with my boyfriend. The staff members were really annoyed by us. The tables and chairs were already stacked up before they were even closed. One employee even stated "really everyone wants ice cream right before we close!" She than started complaining to the rest of the staff about everything she still needed to do. Ive been on the other side of the counter and managed a business. Rule number 1: Don't make your guest feel like they arnt welcome!!! Sad. Great ice cream though!! read more
