So we were able to order online now. Looks like they fixed that glitch, which is great. Although I did start to worry again about the hours posted on Yelp. Which are still wrong. Forgot I had mentioned this in my previous review. Tried calling the store with their number posted on Yelp, but it is out of service. Looked at my email confirmation and saw the same number. So not sure about their phone system. Luckily the order went thru and I was able to pick up my cake with no issues. read more

The place went downhill with the new owners Very unsanitary hair was in my ice cream, Lack of communication, The bathroom has a sign that says out of order for two years that the new owners put up but they use the bathroom! Whenever we would order ice cream the young lady would always miss toppings that we requested selective hearing I guess. Plenty of parking, minutes from other stores and the Crystall Mall. Staff was friendly, efficient and patient. Plenty of flavors to sample and combinations to create. Our go to for special occasions are definitely their ice cream cakes and I would recommend to order ahead to make sure you get exactly what you want when you pick up. My go to lately has been the chocolate silk option with almonds and coconut! They have a military discount and rewards program as well. read more

Rude. Not accommodating at all. Overpriced. You can get ice cream anywhere for cheaper and not need to deal with the attitude. We have an allergy and they and they are unwilling to assist and want to charge more for having an allergy. Would give zero stars if I could. read more

I had a bad experience here last year, and returned today only to have the SAME experience. The workers don't wear gloves, have their hair down in their face, no hair net, no sanitary precautions, and no customer service. The man working was on his phone and running his hands through his hair and went straight into making ice cream without washing his hands. The woman making my ice cream had her long hair all in her face and hovering over my ice cream. It's honestly disgusting, I couldn't even finish my small because i got so grossed out. Also, there is no bathroom available, and the store is dirty as well. Ridiculous spending 16 dollars on two smalls with this experience. The ice cream guy let me try their Peeps flavor after I ordered which was very nice of him. The Chocolate Devotion always hits (Luke and I both got it). It's way more expensive than I remember, but that's more Biden's fault than Cold Stone's. read more

If you like ice cream, this is your go to. Mix in whatever you want. Sample anything you want but please do be considerate of those in line. Like shakes instead? They got you! Want a waffle cone dipped in chocolate? They got you. Cones too messy for you? Get a waffle cone in a bowl! My reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the place can get a bit messy at times. Sticky tables and napkins on the floor. The staff is usually super nice, the girls tonight (7/9/22) were full of smiles and willing to help even an hour before close! read more

A nice location located in Waterford a short trip from the mall. Portions are always filling even with the "Like It" size. A slow Saturday afternoon in the summer susprised to see that there was no one there thus letting us taste all the different flavors that we want. Eventually we got a cheesecake ice cream in a waffle bowl and a oreo creation in a cup with chocolate chips, fudge and oreos. Always delicious and creamy. read more

Drove 45min because I LOVE Cold Stone Creamery just to get there and have them closed 15min early. Floor already mopped and workers cleaning up. They refused to let us in and just stared at us. As someone in the service industry, I understand wanting to get home early but that doesn't excuse closing extremely early and refusing to serve costumers during open hours. This is so disappointing. I've been coming to Cold Stone Creamery for about 14 years now, all over the states. Especially California, Virginia & now Connecticut. I've been to this location going on five times now, and no matter where I am I always order the same thing. Like It Shake with sweet cream, cake batter & cheesecake. As soon as I walked in, three women had the worst attitudes to the customers they were helping. Then asked what I and my significant other would like, and as soon as I told them my order, the older of the three women said that I cannot do 3 in one order. So I asked when that stopped and laughed because that's the reason I come to Cold Stone but wasn't made aware of that- and I had ordered that the last four times. The lady said "for as long as I've been working here we do not do 3 flavors, and I've been here a little over a year". Okay, rude. Lastly, that's sad you've been there over a year and you're like 30. I used to love going to this place a couple years ago when there were friendly and personable employees working here. Now I would rather scoop ice cream myself and not deal with the employees at all. The only reason I gave two stars was because the ice cream was good. On the rare occasion that I go in, it is the same type of girls working in there and they have the worst attitudes I have ever heard. There is no smile or asking of what they can get for you and are constantly giving you blank stares as if to wait for you to say something. I work in customer service myself and knew better at the age of 16 than to be rude to a customer. Very disappointed. read more

My family and I jokingly call this place Warm Stone because, out of the 10 years we've lived here, only once have we gone here and the ice cream was cold enough to be called ice cream. We love Cold Stone, but this one is by far the worst one. I agree that the employees are less than happy about your business as well. We have actually written emails to the corporate office about this place, but all they ever do is send us a 10 dollar gift certificate. Naturally, we go back after some time to redeem the gift, but to our shock and amazement (sarcasm) NOTHING CHANGED! Lol. Like why would I expect cold ice cream? I can't complain about ice cream, this is my favorite place to go i always get the same thing! It's delicious and the staff is generally okay but compared to a few years ago it is not the same. When I used to go, they'd sing when you'd tip them, when you walked in, etc. Now they rarely smile. I would hate to see this place close because it brings back great memories, but hopefully the staff can at least pretend to enjoy their job read more

We had never been to Coldstone before so we were a bit lost as to what sizes there were and what varieties were offered. The staff acted like we were imposing on them and taking too much time event though there was no one else in the store. I was not to impressed by their ice cream. Seemed to lack flavor and after mixing turned very soft and melted into soup. There are many better ice cream shops that treat there customers better read more

However, at this location today, I was just in shock when I sat down with my grandmother and the radio was playing such inappropriate music at an absurd volume. My nana was extremely offended and I couldn't hear a word she said unless she yelled. The only two workers there seemed no older than 25 and both were dancing to the music... Cold Stone is a great place to go for ice cream! I don't go very often so it's even more of a treat when i do go. You can mix various toppings inside the ice cream you pick and they mix it up. They also have some signature creations that you can order and so much more. I highly recommend coming!! read more

I am down from the holidays bonding with my 7 year old younger brothers. We wanted to get dinner, get a Christmas tree, and get ice cream. The first two items on the checklist were more pleasant than we could have ever fathomed. When it came to the third item we were frantically searching for a wallet in the car to make it into the ice cream establishment before it closed. We walked in at 9:01 and the door were unlocked. Then somebody with a name tag of Shelby gave us a cold hard gaze and said they had already locked it. We asked if we could just get smalls hoping for some good natured Christmas spirit to be reciprocated. Even though the clock inside read 8:59 they still refused us service. For never being at Coldstone, I had a totally different experience. Right when I walked inside, the staff had welcomed me in with a smile on their faces the whole time. They had helped me pick out the ice cream I wanted, for there were so many to choose from! When tipping them, they had asked if I wanted them to sing, but they had already done so much for me, I couldn't let them. Horrible customer service. When I came in there were 5 people in front of me with only one person working the counter. You could hear two additional employees having a loud personal conversation in the back room. After waiting for over 15 minutes, one of them came out and re-arranged the blender containers and disappeared. Another 10 minutes later the other one came out. She was rude to the person waiting the counter and was continually in the way of the only individual actually working. It was so disappointing. The one gal was rude to her co-workers, it was no surprise she was angry at the customers as well. CSC needs to find employees with a better customer service attitude. On top of this, the ice cream was the last of strawberry and was melted all over the cup as I guess their freezer is broken. Just an awful experience. Will never go back. read more

The service was really poor when I went. There was thirty minutes before closing, with a store full of customers, and the workers were just plain RUDE. Worse service I have ever received. First of all, we walked in and they were being sarcastic in taking our orders, and they plopped the ice cream into the cups aggressively. We were rushed afterwards to get out. They said the word "hell" on various occasions, and sang TERRIBLY to bad music. One worker began mopping while we were still sitting down. Honestly the WORST Coldstone experience of my LIFE.
