This Coldstone is very clean and is never really crowded. The people that work there are super friendly. However, I've found that they are really stingy with the toppings and don't give you the normal amount. Coldstone is pretty pricey, but they have so many options and great creations. read more

I've always loved the flavors at cold stone but this particular location is horrible! The portions for the price is terrible. The price for everything has increased and the owners are so stingy with the portions. The ladies that work there do a great job but the two guys that come in sometimes toward the end of the day act like they can't fill the cup up. The bathroom was disgusting! I probably wouldn't return to this Coldstone. The music was so loud to the point it was hard to heard the associate because she spoke so soft. I had ordered the cake batter milkshake and I kinda regret getting the shake. There were some black spots on the ice cream, she got one of the spot but didn't notice the other. I go to cold stone every year to get birthday cakes. I had an issue at a different cold stone and as a part of my resolution, I was given a coupon for a percentage off for life. So..This particular cold stone refuses to honor the discount card. Ok fine- the cage was very poorly written on for the birthday message so that was pretty disappointing. For a first visit it was a good one. I am a fan of the chain, so this was a natural choice when out of town for the day with family. This store is conveniently located off of 199. Plenty of parking is a plus. No debris in the parking lot, or sidewalks was a welcome sight. I noticed no outdoor seating. A small line was formed inside for the after dinner crowd. This location also has the ice-cream cakes in a stand-up cooler. Dining room has around four tables, most appeared to be taking out. Our party was eating in. The line kept getting longer and to the door by the time we reached a young woman to put our order in. Orders were taken, products were diced and pounded on the cold slab for the kids to enjoy watching, okay adults too! Everyone got a cup except for me who wanted to be adventurous and get a Oreo & Milk shake. WOW, that was an awesome decision. Check-out occurred prior to the order being complete to keep things moving. They have bottle water and soda at check out in a small cooler behind the register. If you don't mind room temperature water it's beside the register. All interactions with the staff were pleasant and the dining room and restrooms were tidy. You pay more sure, but everything we had was great! This is a solid location I would recommend. read more

Clearly marked hours of operation say open until 9pm. Online the hours say open until 9pm. We decided to head over after dinner and pulled into the parking lot at 8pm. Workers inside cleaning up and the lights on, open sign turned off and a printed sign saying "closed due to inclement weather". It was raining! Thursday June 10th 8pm. There were cars lining up outside and they closed for no good reason besides they wanted to go home early. Unfortunately this is the quality of help we are forced to accept after Covid. But they want $15 per hour. I hope the owner of this location is made aware of the situation. read more

I purchased a cake for my mom for Mother's Day from the Cold Stone Creamery in Williamsburg. When I called the store on Friday to ask about using the current $3 off cake coupon, the man I spoke with told me I could order the cake online and then bring the coupon with me when I pick up the cake and they would give me 3 dollars back or a 3 dollar gift card. When I arrived yesterday to pick up the cake, the girl at the register was terribly rude with a lot of attitude, tried to charge me $31 for the cake AGAIN when I already paid for it online, AND she refused to take the $3 off coupon. She said "we don't take that - it's expired". Seriously?! The coupon expires on June 7, 2017! There is a picture of a Mother's Day cake on the flyer of the coupon. It is not expired. She just didn't want to be bothered. When she was looking for the cake in the back she spoke down to me like "Well, what's written on it?!!" I do not understand what her problem was. I was kind to her and I shouldn't have been. She acted annoyed that she had to help me at all when she had been standing there at the register doing absolutely nothing for the 10 minutes we were in line. I have worked in customer service for over 16 years and I have never treated anyone like that. She ruined our day. :( It's a shame I have to give such a poor review because the cake was good. read more

Just got back. Opened at 2 pm, not 12 pm as the website says. Ordered two "gotta have its", both with chocolate ice cream. After both were prepared and dripping down the sides of the cups, the woman informed us the chocolate was very soft. We were dripping all the way out. when we asked for napkins they said they didn't have any. 90 degrees out and we're at the only ice cream shop east of the Mississippi that doesn't have napkins. read more

This particular cold stone location has not provided very good service any time that I have been there. The service is slow and cleanliness often lacking. It closed down for a period of time and has now reopened. There are signs out front stating that it is under new management. I have not been in since the new management took over but perhaps it is worth giving it another try. Just stopped by for my usual cake batter with cake pieces mixed in. I'm from out of town and this is my first time visiting this location. Imagine my surprise when I bit into my ice cream and the cake was crunchy! Thought maybe it was just that piece and kept eating. That was not the case. Felt like I was in a cheap bar where they measure the alcohol. I ordered a Love It Peanut Butter Cup Perfection with birthday cake ice cream. The employee added only one peanut butter cup and actually measured a teaspoon of peanut butter. The sundae was a little thin on ingredients to say the least. For $5 plus there should be more. I went to the bathroom while my boyfriend "ordered" our ice cream. For 1: The bathroom was disgusting. I come out from the bathroom and he was waiting to be helped. There was no one else in the store. We left. When I asked what happened he said, he told the employee that he was ready to order BUT the employee stated, "I'm pretty tired and I wanna finish this video really quick". So my boyfriend proceeded to wait for the employee to stop rubbing his belly and finish his video. I have never seen such terrible customer service. When a paying customer walks in the door you stop what you're doing immediately and assist them. This is not worth any money. I absolutely love coldstone! I've been to many on the east coast and they have always been positive experiences...except for at this particular store. Coldstone is always expensive, but that's fine considering how good their ice cream is, but I would not recommend going to this store unless you want to pay for food poisoning. I went with my family of 6 people and we all enjoyed the ice cream, and left. 20 minutes later however, we were ALL doubled over in pain and had severe squirts for the rest of the day. Do NOT go to this unclean store. The workers should have been a sign this place was unclean. It should be shut down. read more
