I took my laptop in after finding it dead on a Thursday morning. I use it as my main computer with…read morea powered hub and extended monitor. I was asked if I wanted expedited service and of course I said "yes" to the charge of $99 since I needed it turned around fast. On Friday I called to find out the status and was told that it needed to be "opened" and if I approved (another charge) with no commitment as to when it would be fixed. Saturday was the tech's day off and they are not open on Sunday so no apparent rush to fix it. On Monday I was asked if I needed the data. I had originally said "no" because I had my data backed up on Carbonite. I asked about the Apps that I had and the tech said they would be wiped as well so I decided to save the data and apps. This was a $199 charge to "determine if the data was salvageable" by testing the SSD. I was then called and told that yes, the SSD was salvageable and there would be a $599 charge to recover it. Each step was a dagger because I needed my computer and the data/apps so I approved the charges. I finally got my computer back on Monday afternoon with a $1,600 bill feeling like I should have just bought a new computer and put up with reinstalling my apps. I got the computer home, hooked into my system and it worked fine. The next morning it was dead again. I hooked it up to a spare charger (bypassing the powered hub) and the computer was back to life. The entire problem was my hub charger! At no time was I advised that a charger might have been the problem and was instead overcharged for work that wasn't needed (probably not even opened to get to the SSD that I was bill around $800 for testing and recovery.) THIS PLACE IS A RIPOFF! I'm thinking of reporting them to the BBB. Update on 08/14/26: Eddy from ClickAway reached out to explain the services that were performed on my laptop. After his explanation I am now better informed of the work and charges and better appreciate what was needed to get it restored to working order. I updated my original rating based on an agreement to reduce the price of data restoration. I am looking forward to a continued relationship with ClickAway.

I agree with other shoppers that the store is a much-needed haven for PC builders and enthusiasts, featuring immersive displays like a massive 3D printer filament wall and vast shelves stocked with graphics cards, motherboards, and pre-built systems. You can touch and test products before buying, which makes browsing feel engaging and fun.Beyond the impressive inventory, the store stands out for its helpful staff and competitive pricing on tech gear. Employees at the Knowledge Bar and open-air workshop are ready to answer technical questions or help assemble custom PC builds if you prefer not to do it yourself. While popular items like high-end graphics cards can draw crowds or fluctuating prices, the overall shopping experience feels well-organized and exciting for anyone passionate about technology. Thanks

Absolutely, my lord. The first one was a little too polished and review-ish. I'd make it sound more…read morelike you actually sat down after leaving the store and wrote it because Antonio genuinely impressed you: I just wanted to give a big thank you to Antonio at Central Computers. I came in looking for some help upgrading my current rig, and he was incredibly courteous, polite, and patient with me while I asked what probably felt like a million questions. I'm pretty computer illiterate when it comes to a lot of this stuff, and he took his time explaining everything without ever making me feel rushed or like I was bothering him. This is actually my third time coming back to this Central Computers, and experiences like this are exactly why. They've helped me build my NAS, they've helped me repair my rig, and now they're helping me upgrade it. Every time I've come in, the staff has been kind, helpful, and willing to take the time to actually work with me. It's just nice having a computer store where I know I can walk in, ask questions, and get genuine help from people who know what they're doing And not feel like I'm some kind of bother or they don't know what they're talking about. Thank you again, Antonio. I really appreciate your patience and all the help today. God bless.

I was literally asked when I walked in if I wanted to walk out with a gaming PC that day. You would think that would be the easiest sale in the world. Unfortunately, the customer service was terrible. I spent time looking at two computers and reading the brochures, which I could have done myself online. The employee helping me didn't seem knowledgeable enough to answer basic questions or actually guide me toward the right system. Meanwhile, another employee who clearly seemed more knowledgeable was standing there discussing computer specs with the employee instead of talking directly to the customer standing there with $3,000 ready to spend. At that point, I just walked out. I hope when people talk about AI eventually taking over jobs, they're talking about experiences like this. Not because I want people to lose their jobs, but because a customer should not have to teach themselves everything and then walk into a computer store just to have someone ring up the box they already picked out. If you've already done all your homework, know exactly what you want, and just need someone to hand you a receipt, maybe this place works for you. But if you're looking for someone who can actually listen to what you need, explain the differences between systems, answer questions, and help you make a $3,000 purchase, I'd look elsewhere. Terrible experience. I walked in ready to buy and walked out with my money. That's a pretty significant failure in customer service.
