first time visiting after awhile of wanting to try, They have a drive thru which is pretty cool, and have been here for a very long time. if youre looking for a burrito this might be the place because they have soooo many different kinds on the menu. I went for my favorites, the cali ( carne asada, fries, cheese, guac, sour cream and pico) with no pico. and a bean n cheese and didnt wait too long, from placing my order to receiving it Id say no later than 7 mins for 3 burritos. and the total came out to $26.61 for all 3. I loved that I didnt have to ask for salsas because the girl at the window put those in for us, with napkins and forks before I could even say anything, which was sweet n considerate of her :) the chefs were nice too :) as for flavor, I liked the cali burrito. the meat had a good taste, seasoned nicely. it was not too salty or too bland, just right. the tortillas on both burritos are soft and cooked all the way thru without a char, and the fries and cheese complemented each other, it was a cheese blend of white and cheddar. the sour cream was a thick consistency, and the avocado tasted fresh. and for $12, I cant complain :) it was a solid burrito. Their bean n cheese I would get again too, they cost $6.49 plus tax and the beans were seasoned perfectly as well, the were mashed nicely and the cheese melted in there perfectly I had a couple cheese pulls and I took my burrito to go and ate it at home... and they have a good amount of beans in there too! I was given red and green salsa to try, they both definitely have a nice kick to it. the green had a tomatillo and limon taste, and the red salsa tasted like the chiles were roasted. I liked them, but I gravitated more towards the red more with my bean n cheese. but then again im more of a red salsa kind of girl :) the salsas were alright and I would give this place a solid 3.9-4 for what I tried today and would go back again :) read more

Parking is limited as there is a laundromat and barber shop but Aldi's parking not very far to walk over. Limited seating inside and 2 large picnic tables outside. The outside tables are right next to the area where cars line up for the drive thru. Luckily only 2 cars went by when we were there. 1 Bathroom but you have to ask the lady inside how to get to it not inside the main eating area. Only saw one chef and one lady inside. She was really nice and was helping inside customers and drive thru. We went on a Wed evening about 5:30pm and all inside seats were taken. There is a fresh salsa bar with Chiles toreados, pickled onion, gren/red salsa, and an avocado sauce. We ordered and went outside. Our plates were brought to us. Everything was fresh and hot. The rice was spot on like my Abuela makes so I knew everything else would be good. Beans were a touch salty but refried nicely with actual frijoles de la olla. The enchiladas verde sauce was tasty and had a good tomatillo ratio to heat. The shredded beef rolled tacos were good portioned and fried golden with a good crunch all through even with the fresh smashed guacamole. Definitely going back to try other items. Friendly staff, food made to order, ingredients are fresh and high quality and prices are great! We ordered the Tacorrito that had two rolled tacos inside of a carne asada burrito, and a Del Mar burrito with shrimp, battered fish, sauce and rice and it was MASSIVE (it is double wrapped)! Shrimp and fish were flavorful without tasting too "fishy" and it was the size of my arm! The rolled tacos inside the burrito were crunchy and was also a great size - this one does not come double wrapped. They also have a drive thru window which is always a plus. This has become my new go to taco shop and I pass many as I drive from downtown to eat here. 10/10! read more

I stopped here late on Friday night for a Carne asada quesadilla. The man at drive thru was friendly. My quesadilla was ok. All i wanted was a quesadilla with carne asada but they threw in some lettuce and such. No big problem. What was a big problem to me was paying 11 bucks for a Carne Asada quesadilla that up until recently I felt 5 bucks was a bit too much. I do believe I'll go back and inquire about specials they may be running that would be less of a strain on both my brain and my budget. They offer two different type of fries (regular, or the fat kind). I got the California Burrito. The meat was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The wait was a bit long but that's because they cook to order. I ordered no pico but it came with everything else (that's the only modification I had). Seasoning & flavor of food pleasing to my palate. Generous serving portions. Reasonably priced. Food is typically rated based on personal preference, however like home cooked meals, it depends on who's cooking. Colima's cooks seem pretty consistent.
