Admittedly this is only the first visit, but what a first visit it was! Colleen arrived promptly, explained her philosophy and asked some questions about our dog such as temperament as well as about our expectations; then she went off to her van with our very dirty long-haired Shepherd. And a bit over an hour later, she brought back a different dog. Our girl's coat is shining, all the mats were either carefully trimmed away or combed out, her teeth were brushed, her nails trimmed and she looks gorgeous. Throughout the entire process, Colleen's smile never wavered, and she seemed to really enjoy her work. She is also very knowledgeable, something we appreciate after hearing horror stories from friends and relatives. I used Colleen to come wash my 3 pups. One of my dogs is always a bit sketched after coming from the groomer so I tried the mobile option. I also have another dog who screams like an - idk what - anytime he gets groomed. So bad that I was told by one place to only bring him during the weekdays bc he was disruptive to the patrons yes, he dreamed with Colleen, but she took in stride and my other dog who acts traumatized normally - was great. Colleen has been grooming my dog for years, I am so excited she finally branched out on her own and went mobile!! She gave Lego (our large labradoodle) the royal treatment on Monday. He was so soft and cuddly! And it was perfect, because she was able to groom him right at our house (he gets carsick, poor guy). My Labrador is old and cranky. He literally had to be carried into his last grooming appointment. I searched high and low for a reputable mobile groomer. Colleen's response was quick and professional. She asked lots of questions ahead of time and put my dog on her schedule earliest available. She was prompt, and interacted well with my dog. Colleen is kind and gently and gives kisses and back scratches. She puts great feathers in my hair and even gives me a pink manicure. Her soap smells great and her blow dryer tickles.
