Wonderful experience from start to finish! Scheduling was so easy and they were able to get my dog in for a consult and CT/Rhinoscopy right away! Dr. Lottati was fantastic! She spent a lot of time taking through my dogs extensive medical history, thoroughly explained what she found during her procedures and what to expect moving forward. We never felt rushed in any way. Every team member we met was extremely friendly and personable and the facility is absolutely stunning! We highly recommend Pacific Coast Veterinary Specialist!

Pacific Coast Veterinary Specialists is like no other veterinary clinic. It is truly exquisitely beautiful. Every detail -- from the entry, to the waiting room, to the exam rooms -- has been thoughtfully designed to delight the eye and calm the anxiety that parents and their dog and cat children experience every time they walk into a veterinary clinic. More importantly, Dr. Lottati was incredibly kind, patient, and thorough with Phoebe. She gently approached her, speaking softly, instinctively knowing how to make Phoebe feel safe before attempting to examine her. Phoebe always wants to retreat back into the safety of her stroller at veterinary appointments, so seeing her calmly walk around the exam room floor was truly a testimony to how comfortable she felt. Phoebe has been to several dermatologists, emergency hospitals, and veterinarians over the last year. Many of the medications and treatments that were suggested came with pages of potential side effects, including hospitalization and even death. After Dr. Lottati carefully reviewed Phoebe's complicated history, she explained how Phoebe got into this condition and suggested a thoughtful treatment plan. Dr. Lottati gave me hope that it might be possible to control Phoebe's infection topically rather than immediately turning to more antibiotics and injections. She also followed up with detailed emailed instructions. For the first time in a very long time, I walked out of a veterinary appointment feeling hopeful instead of defeated. Dr. Lottati radiates compassion, knowledge, and light. She is truly one of a kind.

I had such an amazing experience bringing my cat here. The staff was kind, patient, and genuinely cared about my cats well-being from the moment we walked in. Dr.Lottati and her team took the time to thoroughly explain everything and answer all my questions without making me feel rushed. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and trustworthy veterinary specialist I highly recommend this practice, I will not be going anywhere else!

    Murphy and MacDuff totally agree!

I cannot say enough about everyone in this office... from the receptionist all the way up to Dr. Lottati and the surgeon, Dr. Tallent. A very well run office. We are awaiting test results for Murphy, but confidence is extremely high that no matter what, Dr. Lottati and her staff will do their best to find the answers! You just get a rock solid feeling that they know precisely what they are doing. A bit of a schlep from Encino... but worth every mile. Highly recommend them.

Toast and I have been seeing Dr. Lottati for years, and her new location is very convenient and clean (and much less stressful). Dr. Lottati is a Cushing's expert who takes her time with all of my anxious questions about my little old girl. Friendly office staff and adorable office pet. Expect to pay specialist prices; this is a specialty practice.

Couldn't recommend Dr Lottati and the team more! My pup Murphy unfortunately has quite a few health issues but Dr Lottati has been incredibly attentive and caring for my pup.

This photo is of Biggie after Dr. Lottati modified her treatment. She was back to her spunky self!

My dog Biggie had Cushing's disease and wasn't tolerating the standard medication and that's when we were referred to Dr. Lottati. After meeting with her for a second opinion, Dr. Lottati recommended a much less common treatment, and Biggie's quality of life completely turned around. Her pot belly shrank, her fur grew back, and I truly never expected such an improvement. I'm so grateful. This is just one of the many times that Dr. Lottati has treated my pets. Dr. Lottati clearly loves her patients like her own and anyone would be incredibly lucky to have her care for their pet! We unfortunately had a separate incident where our family cat, Chet, where he had a freak accident that left him with a large, open wound on his stomach. During a very stressful time, we were lucky to be under Dr. Tallant's care. He needed multiple procedures and ongoing bandage changes, and Dr. Tallant was kind, thorough, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. I'm so thrilled to know that Pacific Coast Veterinary Specialists has such incredible doctors on their team. They will definitely be my go-to for any specialty care that my fur babies may need.

Dr. Lottati has been very helpful in my diagnosis of my dog during a painful time, and was able to get me in to schedule a CT scan very quickly. She has been responsive to my emailed questions and sought out other opinions from other specialists, which I really appreciated. The facility is nice and the staff are very friendly.

I can't begin to tell how much faith I have in Dr Lottati and Dr Bruyette. They have treated both of my dogs, one had lifesaving surgery and was touch and go as the whether or not he would pull though. I credit her with saving him. Also, I should mention their amazing bedside manner and after care. They are kind and lo

And because of them my husky lived 14 happy, pain free, years with amazing quality of life until literally his last day. We've been through several vets in the many years of patronage but Dr.D has been our vet for the last couple years and without a doubt her treatments are why my dog lived to 14 pain free and happy. Yes they are expensive, Woodland Hills, but pets are expensive. I highly recommend pet insurance for all pets as that is the reason I was always able to treat my dog. Last: the staff. Everyone at the front desk and the techs are amazing but I have to specifically point out Xavier, who has gone above and beyond for us more than once, and was the one to help renly pass, as they had their own special bond. and Bailey who has been there for us for many years as well. Now I have brought home a 10 month old east valley rescue who had kennel cough and several other shelter related issues and Dr. D has treated him appropriately and he is recovering quickly. Sunny had late stage kidney disease but for the past year, Skyline provided us with excellent care. They were always available for questions and allowed me to come in on short notice for multiple appointments. They didn't immediately push me to see a special internal medicine doctor, which would have prolonged Sunny's suffering as well as my own stress. The Skyline staff was with me every step of the way. I arrived 10 mind ahead of appt to give them time to check me in and to be respectful of their time. First - Dr C wasn't even scheduled to work that day. It appears they may have double booked as there was another couple waiting with their pup. We both were taken to a room and the other couple were seen right away. I waited over half an hour and nothing. When I stepped out to ask if the vet tech could at least vaccinate the pup that seemed to throw everyone for a loop. The staff are friendly, unhurried, and coordinate well with one another and with the doctors. Now for the stuff that matters most: Compassion. I think of compassion as understanding someone's suffering, and then acting to soothe that suffering. By this definition, Dr. Sheahan is one of the most compassionate people I have ever met. When I first brought our cat Benny to her for a swollen eye, she used books, photos, videos, and a whiteboard to give me a clear idea of what she was thinking. She gradually unfolded the possiblity of cancer, so that I had time to process it both mentally and emotionally. She outlined the testing options step by step in plain language. She gave me some privacy to collect my thoughts, and then returned to complete our conversation. She called *after hours* to convince a radiology company to expedite Benny's CT scan. When the tests confirmed her suspicions, she didn't announce the bad news and then walk away. Instead, she spoke with gentleness and sat with my daughter and me in our grief. When we asked about next steps, she didn't tell us to go find a cancer specialist. Instead, the following morning she called *before office hours* to speak directly with the oncologist she trusts, to start Benny on treatment and get him scheduled. And Dr. Sheahan did this on her *own day off,* keeping me in the loop by phone and text. All while tending to her garden, and making me laugh. As a retired pediatrician myself, the highest praise I can give her is this: I wish she were *my* primary care doctor.

She was straightforward about the low odds of healing without surgery due to the severity of the ulcer.
