Turns out it was the water pump, and it was throwing a code for the fan clutch, so he suggested I replace that as well - since it had to come off to get the new water pump in anyway. The new fan clutch was unbalanced and failed after driving for a day, ripping its own harness off, causing a short that prevented the vehicle from starting once I arrived home. I called and talked to Elite Performance, and they had my vehicle towed back in to repair it. They switched to another brand of fan clutch and replaced it at no charge. Stand-up guys! I will be taking it back to get the engine tuned soon.

Good: Trustworthy Bad: N/A…read moreOverall: My default car repair company My vehicle started making a terrible grinding sound that made me concerned I may do damage if I continued driving it. I called a few places to get an idea of a quote for what I thought was likely the cause. The dealer gave a quote that was significantly higher than Integrity. I expected this but it really was surprising how much more. Another repair shop wouldn't even venture a guess, despite my acknowledgement that without seeing it, any suggestion was based on a lot of assumptions that could be wrong. I had my vehicle towed to the shop right before a snow storm was forecasted. They told me it would likely be looked at after the storm passed, but they were able to look at it the same day. They found that I made a mistake I made that cause a bolt to come loose. This was the cause of the noise. They charged me for a bolt and 30 minutes of work. They could have easily made the repair I expected with a significantly higher cost. They called to explain what they found and tell me it was ready. I cannot speak to cost because my resolution was so easy it didn't require long to fix. However the honesty they displayed impressed me. This shop is now a place I will visit when I need help. The complexity of issues I may face with my vehicle means that I could be fleeced, but they earned my trust.

I came in to get a fleet vehicle worked on and asked them to update/replace everything that needed to be. They replaced the front tires but missed my left rear tire that had almost no tread left. This is after waiting about 3 hours. They pulled the car up and I went out and noticed they had not replaced it. I asked them and they said it did not meet the tire depth for approval. There's no way that was true and I should have had them measure it in front of me. Went to another tire store a couple weeks later who told me the tread was low enough to be approved for replacement. Another customer who was also waiting while I was there told me he had been there five hours for a simple tire change. I would avoid this tire shop and will not be back.
