Dropped off some vw Baja rims to change the offset so it would clear the pan and not rub. Came back later in the week and they were done. Carlos gave me all that was possible on the offset and now it only rubs on hard turn with suspension compressed. Very happy customer! read more

I was referred to here from G&T wheels and I'm so glad they did. My car was shaking and I figured it was a bent piece of metal in the outer rim. I headed over and was greeted by a Tim/Tom (I forget which one) who said they could repair the rim but the chances of it fixing the problem might be minimal and I greatly appreciated his honesty. I gave it some time and thought what the heck let's take that chance. I had my family leave the car the next day and called the office to confirm what I wanted checked out. A Carlos answered the phone and he was what made the whole experience that much better. He was super nice and answered all my questions over the phone. He said he would take a look if the repair would help it and take a deeper look just in case. It was confirmed that not only was the outer rim but but actually the entire rim was totally out of whack. He even sent me a video and I was shocked I was driving that much on that wheel. Carlos said the entire rim needed to be replaced (that part sucked) and the worst part was my rims were a special/upgraded model and basically would cost a lot to order or hard to find used. I confirmed this myself by calling multiple places and it was indeed no where to be found. This only confirmed that Carlos was not tryna get more out of me. He advised me of my options which one of them he could search for a rim that was close to mine in their shop and put it on. I asked if he could spray paint it to match close to my color rims and he said yes which was only a nominal fee. I said sure to it all and they went to work. Carlos was even texting me images of my repair and updates the entire time which I was thankful for. In the end I was super surprised at both the outcome of the look of the rim AND that It fixed my shaking. I appreciate all the professionalism, honesty and the effort invested on my repair. read more

I have no idea why the original heading on this site said they are located in Compton. but since 1955 they have been in Bellflower... I have had Collins primarily work on making custom wheels for me. Usually im a big pain in the ass bringing in some oddball steelie that I want widened but they have always been great about getting the job done and most importantly, getting it done right. In fact I just had some Crown Victoria wheels dropped off and modified for use on a Mustang. Not many people do something like that, but I knew from the start that they could handle it. So I now have a set of 17 inch steelies that are 9 inches wide for the car. Made to my specs and best of all, very inexpensive. Buy a T Shirt while you are there! read more

I just bought a 2002 Chevy Tahoe which had the ugliest after market 20" wheels, luckily after 1 week of searching half the World for a set of stock 2002 Chevy Tahoe wheels this cool dude from the Costco Store (tire shop/manager) in Downey recommended Collins for stock take off original wheels. He warned me that at first sight I might be disapionted and he was right. Took my car in with a tweeked Rim and a expensive rim to replace. Collins was able to repair it and in-expensively too. Also found a couple of wheels with tires that I was able to use as spare tires for my classic Bugs. Save me a lot of time and headache to have to go searching the internet.
