Worst experience ever. I do not recommend ever leaving your car unattended at this location. The personnel is extremely rude and even the business owner. Always treating people like shit. Very unprofessional. I will never in my life step foot in this place not even if it was the last place on earth. Funny part is that it was my first time there and I already have a bad impression from them. If the owner cannot treat people with respect he does not deserve to be getting people's money. I regret agreeing to have our vehicle towed here after an accident. Great "salesmanship" beforehand, tow driver recommendation, shop owner/manager talked to me by phone at scene of accident. After that it was all downhill. Was told 2-3 weeks to complete. I had to keep calling them, not one single time did they call me. While I pay for a rental car, and now its a month later. Vehicle promised at 8 am today, I arrive (60 miles one way) and told it will be finished in 15 minutes. Unfortunately this us not the first accident and I should have gone with my gut and had it towed where it was fixed before. Yes, they waived the deductible, but I had to psy for an extra week of rental. That's a wash. They act like they are doing ME a favor. I understand delays, what I don't understand is why they cannot pick up a phone and communicate with a customer. read more

This is the worst place ever! I have read many reviews (Google and Yelp) and I agree with all the negative ones. Let me tell you that they are crooked and are notorious in the storage lot/towing to be the worst place to get your car towed to. I got my car towed here by a tow truck driver after my car accident. I contacted my insurance provider and they went out to inspect the car and they wrote them a check. Apparently, they wrote it for Collision King. The storage lot is W. Tidwell Storage. This company says that W. Tidwell Storage is different but whatever. The owner even writes on several complaints that they are two different companies, but they have the same tax ID's. It's the same people. That day, a tow truck driver arrived to pick up the car. The receptionist was rude and she said that she had no check in hand, which was a lie. Her other co-worker picked up the check for my car. Then, she passed on the phone to some guy named Martin. He then proceeds to ask me why am I towing my car to another body shop. (Because I can!!!). Then he proceeds to tell me that sometimes insurance providers tell you where you can take your car and who chose that body shop. (I did!) We got into an argument and I asked them to release the car. He hung up on me. Then the receptionist tells me later that she couldn't release the car because I need to sign a release form and that Martin is just trying to earn my business. By what, being rude? You all have bad customer service!!! Office Administrator Cindy to Martin! Not only, did this happen. When I arrive at 4:30pm to sign this release form, Joe still wants to have a conversation about how can he earn my business. I was very polite with him, but he was not getting my business after all that. He behaved very nicely, but I was exhausted and tired of saying the same things over and over. No and no! And, all these negative reviews are true! They offer you discounts and good parts. They did all of this on purpose 1) to earn more money in storage lot fees. 2) because they wanted to keep the car there and be the body shop. If you can, avoid these people at all cost!! I had an accident amonth ago and I was recommended by a friend that they can get the job done... and which they did... my car is like brand new in the front due to the damages tht I had. Even though it took them acouple of weeks and the confusion between me, them and the insurance company but they managed to get the job done... Do not ever come to this place!! My car was tow to this place and store for 1 day, they charge $300. Beside that, they switched my new battery to an death one. They even went all over my personal stuffs inside my car. After being in an accident on 45, my SUV was towed here. Joe was who I first spoke with and was very helpful in keeping me updated and was patient in answering all of my questions. I allowed CK to start the process of taking apart my car for the supplemental estimate. My SUV ended up being a total loss, so I cannot comment on their repairs. Happened upon this place after a friend recommended it after an accident, and I couldn't be happier with the results! The damage was to the rear right quarter panel and although my car is a 2004 they blended the paint perfectly. The only problem now is that that particular spot they fixed is now the nicest part of the car, so I may have to do some upkeep on the rest of it to match! read more

The owner, Alan called me and apologized for the experience I had. He did write me a check for my missing sunglasses and I went back to the shop where the emblem was put back onto the car as well as the non-matching door trim. My vehicle was towed after a 10:30pm accident on 8/2/17 to W Tidwell Storage. On 8/4/17, I went to the 5675 W Tidwell address and went inside of Collision King, apparently they are closely connected businesses. I was directed to speak with Joe who had my paperwork. Joe took me out to my vehicle that was crammed on all 4 sides with crashed up cars. Joe gave me a few options 1. Leave the vehicle at the W Tidwell Storage at $20 per day fee. 2. Transfer the vehicle from W Tidwell Storage to Collision King, for the $179.00 transfer fee where the vehicle will be safe. I guess an implication of an unsafe condition which seemed evident with crashed up cars on all 4 sides. I decided to have the vehicle transferred to the saved haven of the Collision King lot, if we decided to have the vehicle repaired at their facility. On 8/7/17 my insurance inspection adjuster made a determining disposition at Collision King and agreed to pay the fees associated with storage release fees. I decide to move the vehicle and on 8/10/17, arrangements where made for pickup of vehicle and transfer to a different facility. The fees for release for 8/2/17 to 8/10/17 were, now this is the funny or not funny part. Insurance agreed to paid the $1091.00, now you do the math. 8 days at $20 a day and $179.00 transfer fee. How did we get to $1091.00 On 8/10/17 I met my tow truck driver at Collision King to pick up my car and after digging the car from in between crashed up vehicles on all 4 sides ultimately with a fork lift not even 50ft, and I did not say 50yards from were it was when I went to "W Tidwell Storage" to view the car the first time. Picking up vehicle with a fork lift, who knows what undercarriage damage occurred and then I started car and drove it up on to the tow truck platform. These guys convince you to move your car from a storage facility to the body shop part and run up fees that you have no knowledge of. Thanks to my insurance company I would have been burned by these guys but remember those fees ultimately affect your bottom line. Horrible experience with insurance and car rental. The repair shop was the only people to try and make things right.

I was assigned a person to help me with my vehicle while the insurance adjuster came to look at it on the city depot. Charles will show you a lot of empathy and will win your trust very quickly. He is super helpful and will treat you well. The facility is quite big. On the back, at least 20 vehicles are being worked on simultaneously, on the side, the oil change section and minor mechanical work has 3 bridges. I found their prices on the high side. They are very busy so make sure you follow up on your quotations or estimates because they tend to not follow up with you. On a last comment, read carefully the paperwork they will present to you when your vehicle needs to remain on the city lot - W Tidwell depot - (or their lot, the line is confusing for the untrained eye); it is expected that you sign it; though you might be authorizing Collision King to work on your vehicle before you get an estimate. My experience overall was positive. I give it 3 stars because of Charles attention and help. read more

Run far, far away from this company. They are scammers. My car was towed to their lot and at first they denied the car was there. The next day, I went in person and asked whether I needed to sign anything to have it towed to the preferred shop, and they said no, the insurance company would handle all the requests. Three days later, the insurance company had to call me because they couldn't get the car off the lot. I called to give a verbal release, and they pressured me to keep the car at their repair shop, offering to guarantee it would be deemed a total loss if I did that. When I declined, they made me come out to the lot to sign the release. When I arrived they took me from room to room to talk to different people, all trying to get me to agree to leave the car there, even saying that if I left it there, they wouldn't report any work done to CarFax. Then they would not release it without my registration (which I had taken home with the rest of my belongings.) I emailed my proof of insurance card to them, but they claimed they did not get it, and wouldn't allow me to access my email to print out a copy in their office. I had to go home, get all the documents, and then come back to sign the release. They will do anything they can to keep your car on the lot as long as possible. One big scam operation... read more

Shady, shady, shady business practices. Think twice before trusting them with your car. I was in an accident and the tow truck took my car to this place. Within an hour Collision King was calling me asking what time I could stop by to get the repair process started. I wanted to sort everything out with the insurance company first and knew I wanted to take my car to the dealership. I finally went about a week and a half later and they were nice but very pushy, telling me that if I got my car repaired there they would reduce or waive my deductible. I'm automatically turned off when places are this pushy and should have just told them that I was going to take my car to the dealership but they told me that to stop the daily storage fee (which at that point I didn't know if I would have to pay myself) and "start" the process, I needed to sign a couple of forms. Never was I told that the forms were authorizing my car to be repaired there (my mistake, I shouldn't have listened to my gut and read EVERY word on that form!) When I finally sorted everything out with the insurance company and told them I had decided to take my car to the dealership they said they'd already ordered the parts and there would be restocking fees (even though they hadn't received the parts yet). I finally got my car out of there but the dealership had to write them a check for over $1,800 in storage and other fees which included a $500 fee for moving the car from the storage lot to the body shop which is on the same property (and makes the whole reason for signing the form obsolete)! Simply ridiculous! The dealership told me that they probably made more money from storing the car there for 2 weeks than what they were going to make in repairing it. Furthermore, my insurance adjuster told me they moved the car with a forklift which may have caused additional structural damage to the bottom of the vehicle. When mg car finally reached the dealership where I had decided to get the repairs they deemed the car a total loss saying that they couldn't repair it due to safety issues from structural damage to the left side. If I'd decided to get my car repaired here I would have been driving an unsafe car! It makes me mad that these type of businesses can do this and get away with it. Also, they say they will give you a lifetime guarantee on the repair but why not just go to the dealership and get the guarantee from a place you know is going to be around for a long time and can honor it? I'm just saying, be very careful of this place and don't let them deceive you! read more

Initially decided to take my vehicle here due to the good reviews and how quickly they were able to get me in and start work on the car. Run away! Go anywhere else but here to have your vehicle repaired. Took my car here at the end of April for minor water damage from the first flood that occurred. This should be a 4-5 day repair (had this same flood repair happen the year before), instead it took a month and half for the work to be completed due to continuous new supplement claims, parts being delayed, and other various reasons given by this shop. I never once received an call from them giving me an update on where the repairs were at or when they estimated the car to be completed. I had to call the almost everyday to get them to update my insurance on the progress/hold ups. I was contacted multiple time by my insurance, stating they could not get an answer from the repair shop and asking ME what stage my car was at. At the one month mark, my insurance would no longer cover my rental. I had to fight for Collision king to cover the cost of my rental. The manager Alex, was no help with this. Stating- "what do you want me to do about it?" It took me emailing Allen, the CEO, to get a resolution. He provided me a cheaper "loaner" car that Collision King would cover. ***important to note*** If you use the rental from Collision King, the company is called Ameri-Rental, be sure to take pictures of the inside and outside of the vehicle before and AFTER you return it. This rental company called me two weeks after I returned the rental to Collision King, claiming that I got a inch of water inside the car, even though both me and Collision King said the car was in good condition when returned. This is a scam they tried to pull on my insurance. Just be careful! read more

Don't let some of the bad reviews on Collision King scare you away... I would recommend this business to anyone. Here's my story... I live in Northern Kentucky and my son lives in Beaumont. I had a friend who was driving my car to Texas for me - to give it to my son as it was to be a wedding present to him. Unfortunately, my friend was thrown off the road by a hit-and-run driver. Messing up the body and the suspension. The police towed my car to Collision King and hence the process began. Collision King called to see if I wanted to repair the car with them since it was in their lot... It seemed convenient and they were super helpful on the phone. I've never been in an accident nor ever had a car insurance claim but Monique walked me thru the whole process and made me feel comfortable. After I already agreed for them to do the work, I read some of the bad reviews on line and was having a panic attack that I made a bad decision, however I called them and talked to Rachel the office manager and she explained that some of the bad reviews were either regarding the storage lot that is right next door that people mis-associated them with, or because they had bad insurance that didn't want to pay... Now granted I have good insurance (State Farm) so it was probably easy because my coverage was so good. It did take several days for the adjuster to approve the claim but once they did, Collision King got the work done. Once everything was complete, they test drove the car and it still seemed out of alignment so the submitted additional work request to be done and once State Farm approved it, they finished up the work no problems. The car looks better now than before! Wanted to give a special shout out to Monique and Rachel, who were super helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and made me feel comfortable from such a far distance... I am suspicious of auto garages also. My wife first went there with minor problem with our van while she was on the way to work. They took care of the problem and didn't charge her anything. Well, that prompted us to use them when another car repair popped up. Since then, we won't go anywhere else. They are straight with you. let you know what is wrong with your vehicle before they repair anything. Only repair what you tell them to. And if it is an expensive repair, they will work with you on paying the bill. Won't go anywhere else. read more

After being in an accident, the tow company forced me to have my vehicle dropped here, he would not tow it to my dealer for repairs. The car was considered totaled by the insurance company so I had to go to the lot to clear my belongings and release the car. The receptionist ignored me when I walked in and the storage team (I guess you could call them ladies) were extremely rude! Almost a week later and no one from the Insurance company can get them to respond to their calls so that they can go pick the car up. I have called myself and dealt with the most rude and hateful woman that God ever put on this planet. This place is shady and a rip off and are just trying to collect storage fees.
