Finally they opened!!!!! Such a cute little shop that's a coffee drive through right in the middle of the Tigard plaza. The barista is so sweet and bubbly, her energy is perfect for my morning coffee pick up! I got the caramel macchiato and it wasn't too sweet. It was perfect! My husband got the peanut butter milkshake, he said it wasn't too sweet either, so perfect! We also shared a ham and cheese croissant, a little soggy on the bottom but we didn't eat it until I got it home. An Arepas, very yummy! And a zucchini bread! Everything was perfect! Big fan of women owned businesses, and also found out that the owner is an engineer, and creates this perfect coffee hut! Can we say WOW!? The coffee shop is like a Tardis (for those who aren't Dr Who fans it means it's bigger on the inside than it looks), the owner really figured out how to best utilize space. I wonder if she can help me organize me house Will be back!

Really tasty, flavorful, strong coffee. Great customer service too! The employee offered us a little pup treat when she noticed our dogs. We ordered a 16 oz Snow White and 20 oz coffee latte. This isn't your typical, average sweet drink place. Must try! (Btw, both sides of the booth can be driven up next to order)

The empanadas were very soggy and not crispy at all. I would recommend they fry them in the moment. Service could be better and prices.

It may have just been our experience, but the first impression wasn't great. Location - If you're not familiar with the area, I highly recommend using GPS because it's tucked away on the corner of a large apartment complex and is easy to miss. It's essentially hidden. There are fewer than a small handful of guest parking spots in the complex, and the rest are reserved for residents. Street parking is available, but that's limited as well. Service - This is the primary reason for the rating. The staff member who helped us came across as less than friendly. Since it was our first time, we mentioned we were leaning toward one drink and just wanted to confirm a few things about less ice and size. He responded with "What drink?" and proceeded as if we were ready to order, without really addressing our questions. It wasn't the words themselves, but the tone and approach that felt rude. When I later asked for a receipt, he pointed to the tablet screen where it mentioned receipts would be emailed, though he did eventually hand me a printed copy. Overall, the interaction just didn't feel welcoming. Drinks - We ordered the Ube Vietnamese coffee with less ice, though it still came with quite a bit of ice. The ube was more of a thick cream consistency, which just isn't personally my preference. The Vietnamese coffee was strong, similar to what you would typically find elsewhere.

I'm been searching for strong delicious coffee for a while now…read more I recently was in starbucks near my house, not where I would want to go for coffee. I asked them this question, and they said you could get a latte or americano. How would so much milk equal strong coffee, anyways it didn't work out. I recalled this place, and that they have Vietnamese coffee.... Now that is strong, and also sweet which is just what I've been searching for. So we came by. My wife got a fruit tea which she said was really good, and I got my strong coffee. I was slightly concerned that it would be so strong my stomach would have issues, but this wasn't the case. It was perfect and also not crazy sweet, like I've had before. They really know what they are doing. The guy at the counter was serious looking but also friendly. The people behind us brought him flowers and then he had a big smile. Sooo, I you want to see a smile bring him some flowers, it was also valentines day, to be honest. If you like coffee with actual flavor, come here. I'm wondering if they sell decaf. I do really want to come back and get some salted egg cream!

This is Ava's newest location in downtown Tigard, Main St. the whole building was recently built…read moreand it's very contemporary and Ava has the coffeehouse, the bakery, and a cocktail bar which I must come back for later. The staff were all very nice and they served sandwiches for lunch and breakfast along with a variety of hot and cold drinks, but right off the bat, I had to try the dark chocolate mocha and I picked wisely. Not too sweet and you can definitely taste the dark chocolate. It was so good! Lots of room to sit down with plenty of small tables and a large community table. It was a rainy day, but there is also lots of outside seating and a beautiful mural to state out while having your drink. Parking is a bit tight at times as it's downtown Tigard, but we managed to find something nearby. Great place to have a conversation with friends it even get some work done. I love that they also have a water station. It's bus your own tables, here. I did spy a small bookshelf with books in the back corner. I'm not sure if this is a community exchange, or they have books for sale, or just books to read whole you are there. I'll need to check that out next time. The display cases of pastries and cakes look amazing. We did try some strawberry shortcake (not pictured) and it was delicious and moist and not overly sweet. The sandwiches did feel a bit overpriced for what you get and my cream cheese pastry but did not enjoy it because it lacked enough cream cheese and he was disappointed. Overall, I can recommend this location and the coffee.

The coffee was good and reasonably priced but the food was very overpriced in my opinion so I skipped on that. My biggest complaint is how slow the service is. There were only a handful of people inside (who all had their coffees already) and just an americano took over 10 minutes. Not sure if I will be returning since there are other coffee shops on the street.
