I had a marionberry scone, a local berry, that i enjoyed. After some prodding they suggested a caramel nut latte.. wish they had said hazelnut... it was ok. I have been here quite a few times throughout the years because it is right down the street from me. I'm not a fan of the coffee, it's not bad it is just very very sweet so if you have an extreme sweet tooth you would probably love it. I do however like the blended Red Bull drinks and pastries. The staff was very friendly and the barista who took my order made the drink exactly as I expected. They have very reasonable pricing, a large area of indoor seating as well as few tables outside. This place is a neighborhood gem! It's located in a small strip mall with Hall St Pizza and a Plaid Pantry, and there's a parking lot. I've only been a couple times but I've recognized the same group of older gentlemen who come to hang out and chat and enjoy each other's company! It seems quite busy in the mornings, and there isn't a whole lot of seating since it's a small shop, but it makes for a cozy and comfortable environment to hang out or get some work done. It's clean and cute, and there's a single bathroom. I've gotten the london fog and it's quite good, I believe I'd asked for it less sweet in the past and preferred it that way. By far my favorite coffee shop in town. Every single person who works there is kind and great at their job. It's clean, quiet and friendly. Their coffee is delicious - and if you're in a hurry, there is a pour your own with a square payment processor and cream/sugar, etc. It's awesome. I like to go for my morning walks to Primo and grab a coffee and pastry. Their pastry selection varies by day and the closer to closing it gets the less options you have. Depending on what day of the week and the time of day it can get busy but the baristas are usually pretty quick regardless. I like that they have to-go options and dine in with actual mugs and plates. read more

Literally writing this review from the shop because I'm so happy. I've started exploring more places around my neighborhood and was super thrilled to see that this place was right off my closest bus route. I ordered a 20 ounce white raspberry mocha because I need the caffeine to do some work today & I'm not a huge fan of bitter drinks. THE COFFEE IS SO GOOD. It tastes exactly like a chocolate raspberry truffle that happens to have a ton of caffeine. I did not know it was possible for a drink to taste like that. The white mocha will definitely be kind of overpowering for people who don't like their drinks uber-sweet, but there are tons of other options on the menu, too. I just can't speak to those because I haven't tried them. The other reviews here seem to indicate they're good, though! The shop itself is pretty small, and all of the tables have been filled since I walked in (at around 8:45 AM, it's 9:15 AM now). You might have trouble getting a seat with a large group. But since I came on my own with my computer to work, it was easy to snag myself a spot at one of the counters. Very tasty, very warm and welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back again. Piping hot tea | Meh, the pastry is ok $ We came to check out this place based on Yelp reviews. Honestly, we weren't wowed. Our experience was neither good nor bad, it was just 'meh'. There's plenty of other coffee shops that have more food selection and better drinks. It's located near a bunch of churches and some schools. Next door is Plaid Pantry, a nail salon and pizza place. The crowd definitely felt local, a place more for churchgoers to meet up afterward. Plenty of seating indoors. The place is clean. The prices are good. We just weren't impressed with the bakery good selection, and there weren't any sandwiches. I think they only sell coffee, tea, smoothies, and turnovers/cookies/scones. The scones aren't small, they're a good size. My husband ordered the orange ginger mint tea. We did to-go, so they put a little football sticker over the mouth opening to prevent spillage in the car. The thing is, hot liquid still came out when we went slow on speed bumps in the parking lot... My husband couldn't sip the tea because it was way too hot. My orange cranberry pecan scone was alright. Tucked away in a small corner by Tigard High School, Primo Espresso is a hidden gem! I remember coming in once before but not getting anything and today was in the area and decided to stop in. For a Friday morning at 8:30a I thought I had beat the morning rush but I was wrong! Walking in there were three people in front of me and behind me the customers kept rolling in. Very fast service as there were three employees all working the front, very reasonable prices as well. As soon as I finished paying, my order was ready. It seems that a lot of changes happened as the the tables are sturdy wooden tables and a long communal table to the side. Also, wifi is available too now (greentea is the password). I got an 8 oz chai and a pastry. Originally wanted a cinnamon roll, but they were all out and got a bacon, egg, and cheese turnover i stead. It was heated and I could smell the bacon aroma as I received my order. Biting into the turnover, I noticed the light pastry and the flaky dough! So light and crisp, it really impressed me as the size a little bigger than a croissant. For both of my items it was $6.25 and kept me full until 2pm. The chai was still hot, even after 30+ minutes too. It seems that the pastries are made at the cafe and a large menu featuring coffee, tea, smoothies, and syrups too. I can here with an old friend to rekindle our connection, and have a long over conversation. I came in unsure of what to order, and found myself stumbling over my words at the counter. As I began to question myself and wonder if I should save face and walk out, a kind employee (named Sammi) recommended the white chocolate salted carmel mocha. I immediately jumped onto her metaphorical life raft and ordered the drink. My companion ordered his hot chocolate, and we shared a lovely conversation with the sweet barista, Ava. After quickly and easily paying for our drinks and banana pecan loaf slice, we found seats in the clean and cozy seating area. The music is not too loud and adds to the homey vibe of the coffee shop. This place is a local treasure. The employees treat each customer with kindness, and the drinks are made with care. The loaf is delicious, light and fluffy with delightful flavors. There's a wide variety of pastries available, and my friend highly praised the baked scones. Their menu is large yet not intimidating, easily catering to each guest. Anyone can find what they need here. The prices are reasonable unlike anywhere else in this city. I cannot stress how much I recommend this place. All in all, Primo was the perfect spot to meet and catch up with a friend. They have found a customer with me, and I cannot wait to come back here. We're brand new to the area, and I know she hasn't found her coffee spot yet. I like coffee too, but I was really in the mood for it when I stopped in. The young lady at the counter was very friendly, and she offered me some non-coffee options. So for the first time, I had a Flavored Red Bull. Yes, you read that correctly, a Flavored Red Bull! Their motto says it all. It is truly a "Neighborhood Coffee House". Very clean, plenty of seating, great pastry/morning goodie options, fantastic coffee... I could go on and on. Over the past few years, there have been a few changes. Some big, some small. The owners seem to be incredibly aware of their situation and the role they play in the community. They stay up to date with trends in coffee and appear to care about the customer experience. New equipment and decor tell me they have faith in the business and wisely push money into the business. Situated near Tigard High School and Durham Elementary this is a hot spot for parents and students alike. That being said, on my most recent visit, I think the average age was around 75 before I (23) walked in. Merely an observation and a testament to the fact that Primo is beloved by everyone. Love this little 'mom&pop' place. They use Torani syrups which I am NOT a fan of, but they use the powder Ghirardelli white and dark mocha which is my favorite. Needless to say, I only get mocha's here, and they are my favorite. Their pastries are all really good but very sweet, this isn't your trendy coffee shop with fancy latte art and healthy snacks. But I love going here. It's GREAT price for what you get, a very friendly staff, CONSISTENT very efficient with a long line. Plus you get little stickers for your coffee lid and it's the cherry on top. it's the little things. I always try to order half the flavor with an extra shot, otherwise it's too sweet. Personal Preference. (extra shot is $0.35, not $1-1.50 like many of the 'fancy' coffee shops) One negative, they do not have wi-fi, which is a bummer because I would set up shop here once in a while and drink too much coffee... er mochas. read more

This is a great place for coffee. A group of us from Tigard aquatic exercise have been coming here every Friday for a long time. The coffee is good and service is always friendly and cheerful. They are open, have adjusted for "distancing" and continue serving great coffee with their wonderful positive attitudes. Embodies a suburban coffee shop. Extra points for the strawberry cream turnover (so good) but it was heated in a microwave. Prepackaged, watered down, unoriginal. The "for here" stuff is served with plastic utensils. Check out the tea menu (image)... all sachets, nothing loose, and I can't get a standard green tea to save my life (the People's Green is decaf). But it's understandable being that they're right across the street from two schools and probably don't want a bunch of little brats loitering around. Heck, if I owned the place, I'd probably do the same. Primo Espresso is my fav java joint next to Stumptown.
