I love this place. Done breakfast here quite a few times. The food is definitely all made fresh and excellent no matter what you order. Service is super friendly and excellent. Ambience is old time vintage.

THE go to brunch spot if you're in irwin! they also have really good lunch in dinner options, but breakfast is always my favorite! located in the heart of irwin, the colonial has been a personal favorite of mine for years. the inside gives you that classic diner feel and it's great! service is always super fast and the staff is friendly! my personal favorite item there is the southwest skillet, it's a MUST try!!

Local to the area, Colonial Grille is my go to for some homemade breakfast! Everything breakfast is awesome! I normally go for the skillet or a breakfast combo! Staff is so sweet and the prices are very affordable!

This restaurant is located on Main Street of the cutest little town I think I've ever seen. I was just driving through and felt the need to stop because it looked so adorable from the outside. I ordered food to go so I can't say much for the interior of the restaurant other than there was only one table occupied in the entire place, which I thought was a little weird. The inside looked a bit outdated but it has a "family restaurant" vibe that kind of fits with it. The exterior of the building is much more inviting than the inside. As for the food, I was definitely disappointed. I ordered the special for that day, which was meatloaf. When I opened the box, it didn't look much like meatloaf at all. I tried it anyway and it tasted like cardboard. I ordered 2 sides with it-- potatoes and cole slaw, both of which were decent. Two of the apps they had as part of their daily special were zucchini strips and potato skins. The zucchini strips were soaked in grease and not crispy at all. The potato skins looked like they had been cooked an hour too long because they were so burnt. Neither tasted like good quality food one should be able to get at a restaurant. The only thing keeping me from giving this place one star is how kind and helpful the employees were. When I walked in, I was helped immediately and the girl was so nice. As I looked around, all the employees were smiling and just looked like they loved working there. It made me glad I was supporting a local business but the quality of food made me never want to return.

Had the best Reuben sandwich. The meat was plentiful and tender. The sauerkraut was flavorful. Very taste treat.

Went because Sunday brunch recommended. Don't bother you can buy prepared food and heat it yourself and it will be better. Total waste.

Please note that the building has different entrances/exits for the dining room, bar, and to-go. For many years, Rodney's has been one of my mother-in-law's favorite restaurants, so I have eaten foods from here at least a few times. Here are my ratings for some recent foods: Soy Glazed Salmon - 5 stars - The salmon was a good size, was cooked nicely, and had a sweet soy glaze. It was served over flavorful brussels sprouts, carrots, and potatoes. Veal parmesan - 4 stars - Veal tenderloin medallions were breaded and topped with tomato sauce and provolone cheese. I liked that the breading was not soggy. Pecan-encrusted chicken salad - 4 stars - Chicken breast was encrusted with pecan breading and served atop a house salad with pecans, tomatoes, dried cranberries, and mandarin oranges. Grilled chicken salad - 4 stars - Grilled chicken breast was baked in Cajun butter and served atop a fresh house salad with cheeses, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, and fries.

Incredulously they had charged me .50 an olive for my two martinis. Total of 2.00 for 2 olives in each of my two martinis. The total check for the table was close to 300.00. It is. It is not the price but the audacity of the management to nickel and dime every facet of a meal. Supposedly this is fine dining, but you are going to charge money for a stuffed olive that comes in a jar from Aldis for 2.29. I will not be back under principle. I withdraw my membership voluntarily and will not renew. What has happened to a once flawless destination. They are always very friendly and attentive and willing to give their suggestions and opinions about what they think you might like. They will also give you samples so you can pick which pint you ultimately want to purchase. The space itself is long and narrow. There are a few low top tables in the front, high top stools at the bar and high top round tables in the center. They have a few staple beers that are apparently always on tap along with several seasonal varieties. My favorite was one of their fall brews. It was packed with flavor and I was sad when they were out of it. But I've never been disappointed by anything I've tried here. Staff is always friendly and ready to offer recommendations. I found this microbrewery online and decided to give it a try. Waze tried to take me right past it and I just happened to catch it out of the corner of my eye. There is only street parking which is fine because there were plenty of spots. The place seems to have a real small town feel where most of the patrons all knew each other or at least the bartender knew all of them. Everyone from patrons to staff was very friendly. It's a nice little spot inside. I was surprised that they had a pretty big tap list for such a small spot. They seemed to have beers of most styles in tap to fit anyone's palate. I ordered two hazy IPA's and they were decent. If I'm ever back in the area I would probably stop again.
