The sway bar broke loose on my 2006 Kia Sedona. Even though I trust Colonial Hyundai's service center implicitly, I thought I'd call Kia first to see if they could work on it and if there were any recalls. The service center representative I spoke to at Kia of West Chester was short and somewhat rude during our conversation telling me that he couldn't look at the car until February. This made it all too easy to go back to my preferred choice - Colonial Hyundai. When I called Colonial Hyundai, I reached Jeremy who was friendly and welcoming - a behavior I've come to expect from Colonial Hyundai. Jeremy was prepared to receive the car as soon as I could get it towed there. Jeremy called me to explain the assessment of the car and to provide me with the cost of repairs. After I ok'd the work it was done that day and ready to go. It is refreshing to have such a wonderful feeling towards a dealership service center, as my past experiences with other dealership service centers have always been painful and dishonest. I am always very impressed at the reliability, friendliness, and honesty I receive from Colonial Hyundai and would highly recommend them to anyone that asked. I was contacted fairly soon after my inquiry on a Ford Escape 2013 145k miles 7000$. When I arrived everyone was welcoming. Friendly. Hospitable. The place was pretty clean as can be. I explained a bit of my situation. I was side-swiped with my kids on the 4th of July. My car was totaled. My 2010 was worth nothing, but everything to US. After getting all that I could together, I managed to pull 7000$ out of my hat- single mother of 3, moved from that area, two jobs, living in Bucks now... - I left with a 2015 Toyota Camry 20,800$ 79k miles "below market price" I have found SEVERAL Cams for less, with even less mileage, even more specs! 2018 Cam with 38k miles digital speedometer, surround camera, 1 owner for 22$. I have found a 2016 Cam with the same specs but 64k miles and 18k$. Sure makes me feel defeated living in a world run by men! They assure you they're getting you AND your kids "The best deal" A LIE! Ofc no return policy. A 72mo lease. 7000$ less and 1mo. missed rent ... Maintenance required light came on the day after purchase due for an oil change (I live 1hr 30min from Downingtown). If there was an option for 0 stars, I would give that. Called about a car that I saw online and asked if it had a sunroof. She said she'd check and call me back in 20 minutes. After not hearing from her 5 hours later, I called again. Got voicemail, left a message. She never called. E-mailed the sales manager at 10 pm. Heard back about the car next morning. Made an appointment to see it 2 days later. He emailed me the morning of and said it was sold. A week later it was still listed as available on line. I called and a salesperson said it was still there. I asked him to confirm since I live 2 hours away. He never called me back! I called and asked to speak to an owner and was put through to his voicemail. He never called me back! Called again and still no return phone call. This place is awful! I purchased a 2016 silver Hyundai Tucson with 43K miles in August 2017 after thoroughly searching the internet and acquiring a Truecar certificate for a guaranteed price. I knew what I wanted: a light color, with safety features being my first concern. My salesman was Walter, a very nice young man who listened to what I wanted (other than the other salesmen I encountered) and opened the hood to point out the safety features.( I later learned that my 2016 was rated No. 1 for safety in 2016). The sales manager, Tim, met the Truecar certified price and gave me $500 for my 2002 minivan. I was pleased with the warrantee, roadside assistance and other perks. I purchased a certified pre owned Sonata on October 31 2014...All was fine until this past Thursday Feb 12 2015 when i heard a very loud grinding noise coming from the wheels...the noise was so bad that i immediately pulled into a lot for fear of causing further damage. I had it towed to the nearest Hyundai dealership in Springfield thinking it would be covered under the CPO warranty since it was not a wear and tear issue. To my surprise the Hyndai dealership said it was NOT covered and I had to pay over $400 dollars out of pocket. I have a call as well as email into the general sales manager at the dealership in Downingtown where I purchased the vehicle...I will update when I get a response from the dealership...so far I'm not real impressed with their timeliness of a response read more

There's nothing worse than searching and negotiating for a new vehicle. The entire staff, sales staff and management at Colonial Hyundai Downingtown PA is awesome. I had visited Colonial years before. It was not welcoming nor was it pleasant. It is now clean and welcoming with a very pleasant environment. My salespeople, Anthony Jordan and Lou Ziegler were the consummate professionals, as well as incredibly personable. Their personalities made the negotiation process fun, if you can call negotiating for a car fun. I wouldn't go anywhere else after this most positive experience. They worked with my budget and got me a lot nicer car than I originally wanted for the price I could afford. I threw out a very agressive number, and they made every effort to get me there. They came within $9 of the monthly payment I wanted, and they threw in almost every maintenance package they offer, plus their 20 year / 200k mile warranty. I couldn't have asked for more. They took advantage of an elderly handicap women who was looking for a handicap accessible car and they tried selling her a car that doesn't even fit a wheelchair in the back, then sent a sales rep to her house to pick up her husbands death certificate for his car they wanted her to trade in yup very slimy! Since this they have spent months harassing and threatening her, now we will be seeing them in court. Stay away from these scam artists! read more

Purchased a 2013 Sonata GLS; test drove a Toyota Camry & a Nissan Altima and with my needed legroom, I'm 6'2"; the Sonata fit my best, it was definately most comfortable.
