First, I never post bad reviews but had to this time. Beware! Youngest and probably newest employee only one who has any customer service and cares. We have been steady fans of Colonnas since they opened. After last night, probably no more. 6:15 pm ordered basic pepp pizza delivery with est delivery at 7:24 p.m.. 7:29 p.m. email that order complete. Nothing. Called Colonna's at 7:47 pm and was told by female "driver just left with your order. If you don't have it in about 10 minutes call us back" (now 30 mins past delivery time). 8:15 p.m. (25 minutes later and now 2 hours after ordering and no pizza) called back and got Tyler(?). Kudos to him for trying so hard to help. I could hear the gal I spoke to earlier in the background telling him he needed to verify address (i must have given wrong one..NOT), among other things i could hear not so pleasant. Tyler tried hard but couldn't determine what happened. He was very apologetic (most important part of customer service), promised to try to find out what went wrong and "talk to manager to see what they could do for me". Almost 9:00 p.m. we FINALLY have dinner (2.5+ hours after ordering), personally delivered by Tyler along with 2 cannolis as a thanks for patience. Again he promised to find out what happened and "talk to manager to see what they could do for us". Waited all day and night for ANY follow up, simple phone call or e-mail apology from manager would suffice. Nothing! If it weren't for Tyler, we'd still be waiting for food and probably being blamed for their mistake. Very disappointing management doesn't value customers enough to reach out in any way after making us wait over 2.5 hours for dinner! Disappointing. read more

I have been in Parker for over 6 years now, I have only been disappointed once or twice, overall high quality and sharp service. I took my 2 boys tonight for dinner and got 2 kids meals, garlic knots and a personal pizza. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. A server came over and asked if my kids would like more pasta and my oldest was still hungry and said yes. They gave him a whole nother kids meal, free of charge. It was so kind. There are two pizza places in town that we like to go to. When we want a NY store pizza, Stromboli, or subs we come here. I stopped by today to get take out on a whim. I got a Stromboli which was full of delicious mozzarella cheese. It was very good and filling. My wife got the fries (which she said are the best in Parker) and a sub. We didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes for our food which was piping hot and tasty. This is such an easy lunch spot, I recommend it for sure! read more

Best. Pizza. In. Town. Hands down, I've tried all the other places and you don't get better, fresher ingredients anywhere else. The owner himself is friendly and hands on. He just wants to make sure everyone is happy but isn't too intrusive, a great business owner. We could order delivery but with the places around us, it's not worth it. We drive to get pick up happily it's THAT good. And the decor and environment is so welcoming, we've sat down and enjoyed several meals. It's never bad. Plus the owner is a hockey fan, we love hockey and we could talk to him all day. Take the 5 min drive to pick up your pizza, it will not disappoint. Recently moved to Colorado and have discovered Colonnas Pizza in Parker. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! No joke, I just stopped by cuz I didn't feel like cooking tonight and ordered a medium pepperoni & onion and couldn't get through half of it cuz it's SO BIG! Seriously, other places large or XL are Colonna's medium. The XL they serve is massive so if you have kids, parties or family gatherings, this is the place for you. Possibly the worst first and more than likely experience I've had in a long time with any restaurant. I ordered online via Colonna's Grubhub link and waited over an hour plus for my food. When I got an alert from Yelp asking me how I was enjoying my meal I immediately called Grubhub support and spoke with an amazing call center member that explained to me that after calling the restaurant that they were short staffed and couldn't deliver my order and the restaurant wouldn't be able accommodate me. Needless to say of you can't deliver it nor can Grubhub why bother offering it as an option? read more

We were looking for a nice casual dining experience to start off the weekend last Friday. As a result of a super busy Friday night in Parker and as most families were looking for the same, the other restaurants we were hoping to dine at were very busy with long wait times. So, we decided to dine at Colonna's. When we got there around 6pm, the restaurant was not very busy but a good number of diners were seated and a few folks were on line to order ... not bad considering how busy some of the other places were. Our experience started on the right foot but from there, it quickly turned to garbage. We were in the mood for pasta, so this review of our experience excludes their pizzas. The lasagna was terrible. The spaghetti had watered down marinara sauce. The chicken parm was very dry with very little taste. The older gentleman that serves the food was rude and "truly" demonstrated poor customer service. Too bad really ... the potential was high; but during execution it failed all the way through. It is unlikely that we will ever return to this establishment. There are so many other places that deserve our business and where the food tastes great! read more

I was looking for a sit down place that serves gluten free pizza, and most offer take out only. Even with that, those places are few and far between. We found Colonna's and so glad we did! This gluten free crust is actually a crust, not just a flat crispy piece of cardboard! My husband also enjoyed his lasagna, couldn't stop eating it so no leftovers. Maybe our first and recent visit to Colonna's Pizza was merely a bad night for pizza there. However, we ordered a large pizza and garlic rolls, wanting to see how they matched up against other Parker area pizza restaurants. Our family was quite disappointed in our inaugural Colonna's pizza. The pizza was bread thick, with little sauce or flavoring on it. The "sausage" slices on the pizza were super thin and rather tasteless. The garlic rolls looked like a package of dinner rolls purchased from their nearby neighbor, Walmart, drizzled with a symbolic layer of poor tasting cheese on the top! Of all the pizzas our family has purchased in Parker over the past five years, the Colonna pizza was the worst. It was the first time in our family's history when no one wanted to eat the left over Colonna's pizza slices (which were thrown out after three days). Sorry guys, just being honest. read more

We ordered some delivery pizzas the other day and while the food was okay, the customer service was not great. My husband called in the order after a long day of dealing with a critically ill relative, and the person taking his order was not very patient with his lack of familiarity with the menu. It was nothing terrible, but rude enough to be off-putting. The delivery driver was wearing a mask incorrectly and did not have gloves on. Pizza wasn't bad, the sauce was a bit sweet but the crust was nice and crispy. My bigger concern was what happened when the pizza was dropped (literally) on the table. The server brought over our medium and small pizza and attempted to place the larger of the two on the top of the pan stand. It slid right off and onto our table in a tomato sauce and cheese slump. Rather than hurrying to clean it up, my family clamored for napkins and attempted to slide the saved passable back onto the pan. We had to ask for a towel to clean the table and rather than rushing to get it, sauntered back to kitchen to get it. I understand that it was a complete accident but my issue is with the way it was handled after the fact. The manager did come over and offer to replace the pizza, which would have taken another 20 minutes. After I had said no, I would have expected an offer of reimbursement for the $20 mess that was now this pizza. Proper customer service after an accident will always smooth things over as far as I'm concerned but, that concept seems lost on this particular restaurant. read more

Looked like from other reviews this place may have good NY style pizza. So, I ordered a thin crust NY style pepperoni. Sorry to say, I paid a lot of money for a pizza that was no better than a Little Cesars $5.00 pizza, yet this one cost $24.00. The crust was chewy and not thin and crispy. The sauce and pepperoni were mediocre. I also ordered a side of garlic knots. They too were a disappointment. The dough was tough. The cheese was cold and rubbery. The marinara tasted as if it was from Cisco. My wife ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Scale of 1 to 10, it would rate a 4.5. " It was eatable. I have had worse. Didn't have meat in the sauce. It was mediocre. " I ordered this pizza for pick up. The staff were disengaged and indifferent. The restaurant itself is clean and is following social distancing and the donning of masks. They get a star for that. I hope they can step up their game if they want my hard earned money. I would not go back and would recommend going elsewhere if you are in the mood for Italian cuisine. read more

Coming from Jersey it's hard to find good pizza that reminds us of home but we're glad we have colonas here in parker! We always come here with our two little boys and they devour 2 or 3 slices each easily. We've tried the garlic knots, a couple of the sandwiches and ordered a spicy rigatoni pasta meal once when it was on the specials menu. That pasta was soooooo delicious and had the right amount of heat to it, sad that it's not a regular on the menu. But everything else was good and decent. No complaints at all with the place or the food. Everyone behind the counter is always nice whenever we're there. Glad business has done well enough to warrant a second store to be opened. Recently just ate outside with family when they came to visit and they said it was just as good as pizza from back home. Will continue to come here for our pizza fix! read more

After a long day at work, I was just not feeling like cooking. So as I was deciding on whether to go next door to Qdoba or finally check out this little pizza place, a guy walking into Colonna's said to me, "Hey - this place is much better." It was. They really make you feel like family there, if that's not a weird thing to assert about a pizza place without formal waitstaff or a host/hostess. I just ordered a slice of pizza and a drink. It was really great - reminded me a lot of pizza in NYC when I was living there. Not too much cheese, thin slightly crispy crust, good hand-tossed dough and not too greasy either. The manager/owner was there giving out smiley face stickers and asked me if I was enjoying my meal. Maybe to some, good "in its own way", but don't expect anything "Italian" here. Pizza crust is thin & sauce has no taste, Pizza is floppy due to weight of toppings and cheese and it is not thick or crisp enough to support the toppings, spaghetti is watery never well-drained, salads taste like unwashed lettuce straight out of the bag. Nothing memorable, but not poison either. Just not Italian, and a pizza place should taste Italian!!!!! This does not. My wife is lactose intolerant. Tonight we ordered her a calzone with NO cheese and added Canadian Bacon ($0.75) and extra marinara ($0.50) for pick up. When I arrived to pick it up, I asked if they were sure it had no cheese. They told me it did not. When I got home, we determined that it had cheese and did NOT have either the Canadian Bacon or marinara I paid for. When I called, I was told we would have a credit for a calzone in the future. I called back and requested a refund. We were told someone would get back to us. That never happened. This was not the first time this happened. HORRIBLE customer service. I will NEVER go back even though their pizza is one of the better in the area. They just apparently do not care. While we go out of our way to support local businesses, this will not be one of them. read more

I'm a NY native and so I'm pretty particular about my pizza. I've tried pretty much all of the pizzas here in Parker and Colonna's is my go-to pizza pie shop! It reminds me of the single slices I used to buy at the corner pizzerias in NYC - the slices are large enough that you fold it and stuff it in your mouth piping hot. We've also had the honey mustard wings which are quite good as well. The service is great and I enjoy the small talk with the owner as well. I go for lunch on occasion and its a great deal for lunch - two slices plus drink for $5. My only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that for 5, I'd want delivery. But the good here is so good that we do opt for pickup over delivery elsewhere most of the time. read more
