They always have the best selection of IPAs and Seltzers. Their Seltzers are out of this world. I have not tried a flavor I haven't liked. Tonight we had the POG and Creamsicle. POg is now one of my tops. Their Beer list is also really impressive. We always find a great IPA to sip on. Always a good tune going and a great vibe. We bring our cards everywhere we go and this is a great place to play a few hands and sip amazing brews.

Ladies and Gentlemen..this is a spot for you. From the beer to the atmosphere, you cannot beat this locale. The staff here are attentive, and know when your glass is empty. The vinyl music, and staff make this place so enjoyable. If you want a "splash" of something, they'll oblige. For a brewery that looks to keep patronage, and promote purchases. this is your spot. Enjoy

Omg yum. Yum. YUM! This is the best place to go for friendly vibes, diverse beer and seltzer menu and delicious pizza made to order on Fri/Sat 4-8p, and in spring in summer fried pickles, wings and fare. It's a dog friendly family business with outdoor seating and a beautiful bar. You can get cans to go of all kinds of delicious option. 10/5 stars for ambiance, staff and product. Hope you drop in and meet Erik and Monika for a delightful experience.

This brewery is the perfect addition to Atascadero! I ordered their Plum and Ginger hard seltzer and oh my; I was refreshing! It had a delightful plum kick at the end with a hint of ginger. The seltzers are very dry with no residual sweetness to them, so nothing was overly fruit forward. It was exactly what I wanted for a beautiful spring day! I was talking to the owners and you could hear their passion for fermentation from the way they spoke. They clearly have a deep love of brewing and it shows in their beverages. I also would be regretful not to mention that I ordered a muffin with this dried fruit on top that was out-of-this-world!! It was nothing like I have ever tried before! The girl who made the muffin said she was trying this Japanese method of fruit drying to top the muffin with and it was so crazy satisfying! Definitely do not skip out on the little treats they offer with the beers!

This is a small brewery. There is limited seating inside but they do have more seating and tables outside. I usually drink beer but here I was curious about the seltzers and they were all good. My favorite was the purple reign. The melon one actually tasted like melon and cherry limeade was also good. Had a little sip of the Kolsch and I would recommend that also. Staff was very friendly and always made sure we had a drink.

Amazing local brewery! We had the Baltic porter and a pale ale. Both were great! Also, the food is fantastic! Just had this super yummy sourdough toast with pickled veggies. Beer was great and the food was such high quality! Not your average brewery! They had about 3 beers on tap or to go and a few small plates/snack. It's only been open for about a month and I can't wait to see what else they come up with!

She was excited to get into A-Town and wanted to spin by Traffic Records, but first Wild Fields Brewhouse. Located near the theater in what seemed like an under used strip mall, Wild Fields anchors down a large portion of the building. It felt like a German brewhouse, walking into a wine, open room with bar and booth seating, along with picnic tables. Arcade games dotted the far walls and the kitchen located at the end of the bar. Lots of stainless steel behind the roll up door with a list of what's :in the tanks" on thew glass behind the bar. The top list showed 20 beers available with Berliner Weiss listed as a 3.99 beer. Nice touch, and show this 3.99 beer rotates, as I returned a few days later. After finishing reviewing all the breweries in Paso for the SLO Beer Guide, A-Town was next on my list, but hadn't got down there until this visit. Talking to a couple at Cal Coast, they both agreed that Learning to Fly was their favorite IPA, so that was my mission, to check out this beer. That said, we each got a flight of beers to share and was able to sample 8 different beers from Atascadero Beach, 4101, Windswept Fields and Porch Drinkin' to Mouse Rock, Hop Clarity and License to Fill. We also tossed in Three Bridges and Oktoberfest. Unfortunately, Learning to Fly was sold out, so we left with a can as well as Cloudbreak. The beers, flawless. While not every style I faithfully drink, like brown ales or a Marzen, but am experienced enough to know a well crafted beer when I taste one. Three Bridges won gold at WBC and GABF in 2022, as did Atascadero Beach. MY second trip back I sampled their English Brown Ale, Pine Mountain Monolith, which took home gold in 2021 and 2022 from GABF and WBC, repeating that in 2022 at GABF. As was recommended to me, Learning to Fly, the 7% WCIPA was incredible. As I summerized in my beer review, "Wild Fields' first flight and still a defining one. Simcoe, Mosaic, and Citra at 7% ABV and 100 IBU -- citrusy, piney, dank, tropical, crushable. The brewery's own mixtape, played from the very beginning. Still sounds good." We didn't sample any food while we were there, but they do have an extensive menu in place. Seems like a fun place to hang out and grab some beer and food. We will be back, thanks for the great beer!

It's super family friendly, and our son loves the toddler play area. Our nieces also love the arcade games, so it's a great spot for kids and families. The beer is the best we've had in Atascadero, especially the west coast-style pale ales and IPAs like Atasca-where-o, Afraid of the Grade, Mouse Rock, and Hop Clarity. The staff has always been great, the indoor/outdoor space is awesome for groups, and having a full kitchen makes it even better. We even hosted a small lead-in gathering there the night before our son's 1st birthday party, and it was perfect. We're excited to keep coming back and becoming regulars.

I…read morefurther knew about the "brewery" when I started research on my SLO beer guide project and seeing Chris on a recent podcast, I knew this was the sort of brewery I wanted to get into. Chris isn't new to the beer scene and has been around since the early 90s brewing beer as the former owner/brewer of Dunbar. Nowadays, his operation is small. Not sure "nano" accurately describes his operation in A-Town, but after tasting his beer... Tucked in the halls of a mix-use building, with a commercial street front on El Camino Real, with residential upstairs, his placement is very unique. One does not just walk in, from off the street, sit down and order a pint. No, this is more of a speakeasy type brewery, the first I have come across, where you must first, find the right door and second text Chris to get in. I met him at the door on a Tuesday and he took me into his brewery, just as one other guy was getting ready to head out. It's one of those places you can really get to the people and the owner because it's so small and inviting. It was brew day and the smells were inviting, boiled wort and spent grain. A very unique spot as you walk through a roll up door into the brewery and see all that is going on in this place. All sorts of items dotted the walls, patches and pins, wall art, stickers and skateboard decks. All sorts of stainless steel from Ss Brewtech line two walls, the heart of his operation. The beer? Fantastic! This is the second brewery in A-Town I have visited and reviewed and his beers are all quality. What's even better is he's brewing with some experimental hops you don't normally see. I missed Bodacious, as it wasn't on tap, but was able to sample Celestial Krush, a 6% pale ale, Strata Da Da Da, a WCIPA and Carpenter Red, with a taster of the Robust Porter. Each beer masterfully crafter and full of flavor. Won't be the last time I text 805-464-7172 to gain access to what Chris has created. Definitely make this stop part of your A-Town adventure. Great guy. Great beer.

The biggest selling point to me is that people said on Yelp that the ciders are not too sweet, and that's EXACTLY the case. I'm so use to every cider I have always being really sweet, but these are not, just really good flavor. There are multiple ciders on tap, each one having their own backstory. You might think, cider is cider, are the flavors really that different? But each one comes from a different varietal blend of apples and they're also brewed using different methods. There's a menu that tells you about the apples of each one. Each one has a different alcohol content, and they have very unique flavors. I highly recommend getting a sampler flight, then getting a glass of your favorite one. Just be careful, some of them are pretty strong haha so uber or have a designated driver. I also want to add, the bartender was extremely friendly and loved talking about the ciders, and the entire room has a nice whimsical ambiance. The bar has an old-english pub feel to it, and there's a stage in the back of the room that I guess they do music performances on. We came later in the day and had just missed the music, the bartender said that they do a community jam every week where people just bring their instruments and jam out. Sounds really fun! Oh yea, I also forgot to mention as we were about to leave some locals came in and we were talking to them for a bit. Super nice people, this place definitely curates a really welcoming environment great for both locals and out of towners alike.
