I went right when they opened and I felt the Server was extremely patient and welcoming. He was friendly and provided great service. I got the sweet potato fries to go and they were delicious! Stopped here for a late dinner and to watch the rest of the Argentina soccer game. Sat at the bar and met Chris B., bartender extraordinaire! He fixed me a perfect dirty martini. So delicious. Service was excellent. Review is solely for my Brussels sprouts order. I get them, with toppings on the side, every time we pass thru here and they've always been stellar. I was sorely disappointed this time. The Brussels were mostly shaved leaves with very little "meat" rendering the dish too greasy. Aug 26, 2026 Darleen and I sat at the bar. Michaela was our server at the bar for drinks and dining. She was really helpful and attentive. I ordered the steak tacos and I really liked them. The guac sauce they put on them is a little spicy but kind of addicting. I'm wanting more, lol. . Darleen has the chicken club sandwich which looked really good and she enjoyed it. Stopped in for the first time while headed to Morro Bay for the weekend. Located in a charming little area of Atascadero - we were there in a Friday night so parking was a little full in the street directly next to the restaurant but we were able to find one on the Main Street not too far down, just be patient! There was a very loud party of children in main dining room so we opted to sit on their back patio - cool ambience with a fire pit, propane heaters and a back wall water feature - highly recommend sitting out here if weather allows for it. Service was prompt and friendly. We started with the Brussel Sprouts and they were delicious. I ordered the steak street tacos (no creama) and enjoyed them, the salsa on them was delicious. My husband enjoyed the lamb burger - we didn't notice that the fries are "street fries" and come loaded with cheese, bacon, garlic, and a few other things - and likely would've just asked for them plain as it became very "heavy" alongside the burger. Several parties around us were enjoying various cocktails, but we did not on this trip. Will for sure include this on our list of go-to spots as we travel to and from the coast. read more

Brewery, restaurant and they serve cocktails. Our type joint, especially since they have 3 different old fashioneds. The old fashioneds were a tad on the sweet side for us, but well made. The grilled fish tacos were just okay. They had a hint of fishy taste and way too much cilantro crema. Wondering if that was their attempt to cover up the fishiness. The corn was out of a can, but the salsa seemed fresh. The fried chicken came with Brussel sprouts, fingerling potatoes and coleslaw. Plus was the chicken was served hot. I don't enjoy posting funky reviews. Was traveling thru the area and a local said this place was popular for burgers. Placed the order over the phone with a cool guy. Picked up the food and the order was not what we discussed over the phone. The host that greeted me was very off but the bartender and other servers made the energy bounce back. They also had the Dodger game on so points for that. I waited much longer for my food than expected but the place was buzzing so you just learn to have a little patience. In the end the burger was overcooked and lacked flavor overall aside from not being what I asked for. Presentation was not that great. read more

I haven't been here in a while... unfortunately when we were there the Friday after Thanksgiving around 1pm to have lunch with our friends from out of the area... most tables were dirty so we grabbed a high top table near the bar. The food is always good here but the waitress seemed a little stressed.... As always there was quite a lag time waiting for our orders ( there were 4 adults in our group). Our friends asked for condiments that are always available for what they ordered but the wait was at least 10 minutes ( I'm sure their food was not hot once they got what they asked for. The problem here is the restaurant was almost empty.... I wish they had better service especially since they have such a great bar for cocktails. Having had such a great all around experience at the Street Side in Paso Robles.... We found ourselves in south county and decided to try the Street Side in Atascadero- won't make that mistake again. Now I know, I know.... Comparison is the thief of joy but there was such a significant contrast between the Paso location and Atascadero location that comparing them was unavoidable! We walked in and were barely greeted and taken to a table. (If you are a larger person stay away from the booth... they are extremely narrow. Our waiter (whom boasted at his 8 years of serving experience) was "short" in temperament from start to end.. we aren't checked on once during our meal and had to call him over to handle a problem with my drink. (THE Worst Mule Ever attempted to be drank- was nearly straight vodka) our order of Street Side Fries were light on the fries lacked the pepper bits we love was overloaded with sauce and the presentation was blah. Tacos we shared were good but the tortilla ripped when we picked them up so it appears they were old or they need to move to two per taco.... Knowing they are under the same owner we just left shaking our heads.. south county.. you need to visit Paso to see how it's done.... You are lacking. read more

Walking distance from this place are Tesla superchargers and that's why we chose this place. The weather was nice and the back patio was a good place to sit. We got the lamb burger and the chicken club sandwich with some fresh IPA to go along. The balsamic vinegar reduction they use on the lamb burger pairs well with the feta cheese, a flavor profile I will never forget. The beer was damn good too. If you are travelling through Atascadero, grab a meal, perhaps charge your car and walk on the city hall grass patch on the way. It will be an afternoon well spent. The service is pretty good too but if you sit in the patio, getting attention might be little difficult. read more

Had great food there. Really good service. Michaela was an amazing server and really treats everyone well. I generally don't get to specific with individuals in my review, but I took note of a few things. She was attentive on asking how I wanted my burger done... That's a lost art. I also watched her greet every customer that walked through the door. One was an elderly couple and Michaela started dancing to the song and the lady said "I need that energy". First off, we did have a very sweet and helpful waitress...however it didn't make up for the lackluster food or expensive prices. My husband had tomato bisque soup that tasted like Campbells, and chicken wings that were just ok. I had a chicken. Salad with apples, Cranberry, blue cheese, pecans and bacon. The balsamic dressing had no flavor and the bacon was rock hard little pieces. The lettuce was fresh at least and there was lots of chicken and blue cheese. We each had a drink - bartender couldn't make a decent Mai tai (tried twice) so I had wine. My husband had a margarita with an extra shot. Total for our mediocre dinner was $113.
