We had dinner here on our last night in the area & it was super good! I had the steak salad & a small bowl of mashed potatoes, my daughter had pizza, she had a cocktail & she said it was great, our waitress was super friendly, the place was really busy on a weekday, we would definitely come back

Valley Veggie with red sauce. Great amount of toppings

Wife and I were eating a bit light for lunch and split a Bowl of Chowder and a Valley Veggie Pizza with red sauce. The chowder tasted quite good and had a good amount of clams. The pizza was very good as well and we even took 1/2 home. Layer enjoyed it for dinner! Good service and spacious interior.

Have been here a few times and consistently the staff are nice and helpful. This bar has an upbeat ambiance and a true sports bar feel. Drinks are great. They do have Happy Hour deals. Just had the nachos with chicken and they were just okay. Felt they should have been more flavorful for the price. We will still go back and try something else.

Was great service and excellent local Music and so much fun but would have been way more fun had the drink the ONE drink I ordered been more than HALF full! Checkout this manhattan up!

Wow--what an incredible experience! The customer service here is some of the best I've had in a long time. Our waitress, Ashley, was absolutely amazing--so friendly, attentive, and accommodating. What really stood out was that even the bartenders and the manager checked in on us, which made us feel truly valued. The food didn't disappoint either. I had the hamburger dipped in au jus with steak fries--delicious! I also tried their hazy IPA, which was refreshing and tasty. To top it off, a kickass country band was playing, adding to the great atmosphere. We went on a Saturday night, and surprisingly it wasn't packed. With the level of hospitality, quality food, and fun vibe, this place deserves to be on the map. Do yourself a favor--check out Blast and Brew and spread the word!

Just had another great meal. Crispy chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce with a side of elote corn salad. Delicious. wife had the Cowboy burger with fries. So good. Service was on point. Great job B&B!

    12" Me n Ed's Cheese Pizza

The best "fast food/Americannn"pizza from Santa Margarita to San Miguel. Located off the 101, Curbaril Exit, is Blast and Brew. We found out that they had Me N Ed's pizza here, so we called in an order. 2 12" Cheese Pizza. They said 25mins. When we went in, it was hot and ready. The restaurant is the old Santa Maria Brewery. It's a large Brewery style Restaurant. The pizza is the "California Cracker Crust Style". The undercarriage is peppery, cornmeal, salty, hard, cracker crust. The cheese was nice and cheesy. I loved how they put a good amount out their tangy, peppery, smokey, sauce. For once in North County, a pizza I didn't want to throw in the trash. *Note that they also make their own pizza there and you have to ask for the Me N Ed's*

Blast & Brew is the best! They have very good food, great service and is a great place to watch games! They have a very clean compound and the menu is very nice! They have a great selection of food! Great place to come on a Sunday to watch the games!

Soggy Tri-tip Dip & burnt soggy sweet potato fries

I've never experienced takeout this disappointing. The fries were both burnt and soggy making them completely inedible. The meat in the sandwich was good but the soggy bread and flavorless au jus sauce ruined it. Stay away!

Atascadero needed a place like this. It's got a lot of different options. Hung and the crew are always friendly and makes you feel at home.

Allow me to elaborate. Fairly small, 15-20 tables with a good size bar, and smaller counter facing the open kitchen. Dining by myself, I chose for the visual spectacle by the three in the kitchen, chefs/sous-chef/cook. BTW, I would say it's got a romantic setting. Greeted by the smiley hostess, and my fun and casual waiter Frankie (and burger-lover which I found out), I felt very welcomed. They feature a handful of beers, 2 that are brewed in-house, wines (a good $20 corkage fee if you bring your own), and an ample cocktail list. The menu is small, 1 of every animal - burger, pork, fish, chicken and veg -- and it's seasonal, menu changing soon. What I've tried: ============= BURGER [$29, 5.0 stars] -- I had to get a burger, after all, it's why I came in. Wagyu beef, melted comte gruyere, shaved/pickled onions, and a "backporch" bun -- wow, best burger in 5 years for me. Amazing quality, wonderful seasoned handformed patty, oooohhhh basically a cheese sauce, wonderful fresh bun. It needed some crunch to it to make it perfect, but along with the handcut large fries seasoned with a dryrub (ranch? parm?), it was over-the-top. SHORT RIB [$34, 5.0 stars] - perhaps the best I've ever had (and boy, have I had) with mushrooms in a red wine sauce. Served with amazing creamy polenta. Really nice portion. Love. PORK CHOP [$35, 4.5 stars] -- huge, cooked to perfection. Served with veggies and potato puree. I'd order every time, but see above.

I thought it was crazy that it was $11 but it was so worth it. There's a bed of butter and herbs and spices under the bread and the texture of the bread was so perfect. I wish there was a touch more short rib in my pasta, but the flavor was nice. The fried chicken sandwich was also yummy, but perhaps a little too much sauce. They make their vodka and gin in house and the cocktails were delicious.

It's super family friendly, and our son loves the toddler play area. Our nieces also love the arcade games, so it's a great spot for kids and families. The beer is the best we've had in Atascadero, especially the west coast-style pale ales and IPAs like Atasca-where-o, Afraid of the Grade, Mouse Rock, and Hop Clarity. The staff has always been great, the indoor/outdoor space is awesome for groups, and having a full kitchen makes it even better. We even hosted a small lead-in gathering there the night before our son's 1st birthday party, and it was perfect. We're excited to keep coming back and becoming regulars.

This makes total sense knowing that the owners came from San Diego and both worked for PPBC. Being familiar with Wild Fields award-winning brews we settled for the flight and then added some food later. Being a West Coast IPA couple, we were not disappointed with their draft offerings. In addition to IPAs, they have a good representaion of other styles, so there will be something for everyone-as long as they like beer. Wild Fields also puts together a home-brew competion, fuly embracing their community and craft beer roots. The winner gets to brew a batch of their recipe on the house system and this ultra low alcohol, smoked wheat beer was one of the most unique beers I've had. For the food, we had pulled pork and loaded mac-n-cheese. Pulled pork was fine, but I'd prefer more smoke flavor and aroma. For loaded mac, the protein is polish sausage-not something I've seen before. While it somewhat works, I don't think I'd order this again. They also had a ticketed comedy show, which we stayed for after the official closing time on a Saturday. It was fun and totally worth it. With their strong local connections and family atmosphere, Wild Fields in Atascadero is worth the detour from SLO and Paso destinations, especially for families.

Wish I could have tried them all, but my aperol spritz was perfect. We had made a reservation ahead of time for our large party (gratuity was included with the check) and were sat outside at the patio on the ground floor. The wait staff was fantastic, friendly, and respectful. Matched up well to the vibe of the place. There is a lot of options for food as well, with different pastas/sauce styles, pizza, and appetizers. We ordered a focaccia appetizer before we were aware that focaccia came free at the table, but no complaints from us!! The bread was delightful and all the dips were good as well. I got the nduja & gamberi pasta which cane with prawns and a red sauce over a pretty good portion of noodles. Demolished that and soaked up the extra sauce with the bread. Yum!! While the original interaction should never have happened, I was impressed by the level of accountability, kindness, and follow-through shown afterward.
