After passing this place a billions times and hearing about we decided to try it. Decor is unique and food is decent. Wasn't blown away.

I think this place could be good. But it was expensive for this type of restaurant, which is why I said "could be better" The wait was also extraordinarily long and there was no one else in line. I've never been so disappointed, and had to make an account just to submit this. I waited over for nearly 30 minutes for my burger while all the people that ordered after me were served much faster. I ordered my burger to go, and didn't check the burger before I left, but I wish I did. When I got home, all I got was a patty and a bun. Nothing else. But I had ordered it to have all the toppings. I can't believe I had given such a generous tip to that guy that took my order, because he even made a burger for himself and sat down to eat it before I was even served. With the success of their Herndon and Blackstope location, they added this second restaurant. If you are in the mood for the most monstrous of burgers in the Central Valley, call in a day ahead for the Aspen burger. Yes, this is 9 delicious pounds of beef in between 2 buns! It's perfect for those large parties. My personal favorites is the Boulder with cheese and egg! The 50s atmosphere is very nice and the staff is simply awesome! Just Good food. Consistently fresh, made the way you want it. Want something added or left off, and done happily! My only complaint, if one can complain about it is that they are just too friendly. This place has great friendly people working here. It is not by any means fast food, though I understand because the quality of the food they produce is above fast food standards. I personally think its better than In and out even though I do enjoy In and out. I normally just get the big burger 1/4 pound with blue cheese while my bf enjoys the double big or the boulder. They're fries are nice and thick and cooked to perfection. Much better than shoe string fries in my opinion. I love this place. The steak fries are bomb. So are the curly fries. My favorite is the grilled spicy chicken sandwich. Especially when they add a little extra spice. Yumm. My fiance loves their burgers. He says that they have the best burgers in town. I have a friend who ordered a hot dog from there once and he thought it was great. Another friend of mine had their pineapple shake and he really liked it. I love the decor of the place: the little cars, the red booths, the coca cola collection. Never going back to this location again! Did a pickup order. Got home cold burger. Cold, soggy fries(that were put in a Styrofoam container) and to top it off a hair was in it. Called and spoke with a manager with no solution offered. Was told to bring food back within 10 min of picking orders up if theres a problem. Ummm its Clovis/Fresno. Nobody can get anywhere in 10min! I live a block away from Colorado grill and didn't make dinner after work so me and my boyfriend decided we would go out for dinner. BIG MISTAKE COMING HERE!!! I will never go back no matter how convenient this place is. To start after ordering I payed and signed my receipt the woman starred at my receipt when I handed it back her to see how much I tipped I thought it was so rude and unprofessional. You can get a better, cheaper, and bigger meal from Jack in the Box, Rally's, or even Burger King. We both ordered the same burger only I substituted fries for onion rings. My boyfriend ate his burger in 4 bites, it was the size of a McDonald's dollar cheeseburger. Mine was the same size but they piled it high with lettuce, meat was so dry I had to drench it in ketchup. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars instead or 1 is because the decor was nice and it was clean. Save yourself the money and go somewhere else. They pride themselves on having great burgers but they are NOT worth the high prices they charge. read more

Colorado Grill is a small restaurant that has a retro look on the inside. I came here to try out their food because I've always driven by this place and never visited. Their burgers are big and have pretty good quality. I ordered the Boulder meal, which is a 1/2 lb burger with a side of fries and a drink. I ordered the jumbo hot dog for my girlfriend, but didn't try it. She had some of the burger, but wasn't really impressed by it. However, she doesn't even like burgers in the first place, with very few exceptions. I'll be honest, the burger was a little lacking in flavor compared to other burgers that I've had, but it was still huge and fairly cheap for its size, which was $9 for the combo. I was still left satisfied after eating, and will probably come back again some time to try out their other items. read more

Horrible and dry. We had 4 burgers 1 wasnt touched two others ate half and i finished mine. We all agreed it was dry. We should of got a refund immediately but we made the mistake of not complaining. Not really sure how this place gets so many good reviews but at least the fries were good. The buns are very dense and not flavorful almost fast food quality in a bad way. The patties on all 3 burgers we got were kinda spongy maybe over cooked. I have tried the herndon location and similar result.
