How I love this nail salon. The technicians are really good and the service is fast. They have plenty stations and are reasonably priced. They're not great at designs but will definitely try. My mom had been a frequent customer at this place. I needed to have my nails done for a wedding and decided to try it. My mom met me there and was surprised by the workers i guess they changed owners within about 2 weeks. I like the new people and have been back 3 times since September 7th. They do a beautiful job with the gel polishes and have matching colors for your feet (something not everyplace does). The 2 Ladies and the man who run the place are extremely nice. Sweet staff! You can tell they value their customers. The prices are very affordable and do nice-quality work. They are my go-to nail salon, especially with their stamp card. Every time you have 5 visits, you get $5 off!! The color choices that they have are a little limited and they tend to have not have a lot of high end nail polish (like Essie, OPI, etc) but their top coat makes the polish last. I must say my last visit was a little rushed because there were a lot of people waiting to get their nails done and I could feel my nail artist (the male) feel pressured to hurry up. So he quickly finished but he was a little distracted throughout the procedure that he forgot the hot towel for my pedi and he kinda left cuticles on my finger nails. Colorfull Nails is very affordable ($20 for a mani-pedi!) but you get what you pay for. The nail techs are nice, but the service is very stripped-down. The selection of polish (especially if you want a quality brand like OPI) isn't the most extensive. There are no magazines but there are two TVs. There are no drying tables/areas. They seem to only use very basic products and don't focus on the "pampering" aspect (massage, soak). I selected a light color polish and the tech didn't apply enough for it to not be blotchy. I barely ever treat myself to the nail salon, so I left disappointed that my nails already didn't look great. I also stayed long enough to notice my nail tech didn't sanitize her tools between me and the next customer. Personally, I'm happy to pay a bit more for a less bare-bones service. read more

I went in for a pedicure and I got one of the guy workers...I wasn't too sure about him before he began my pedicure but when he started he convinced me he wasn't any good. He barely even took off the cuticles...I have had MANY pedicures (both bad and good) so I know when I'm getting a good service. So when I saw this, I asked if that was it, if that was all the dead skin he was going to take off. At that point, the only female worker walked over and they spoke in their native language(don't know what it is and don't wanna say something wrong) and then she took the cuticle remover from him and took off SOME cuticles and that point I asked for her to finish my pedicure. At first she wasn't but I insisted. The lady did a decent job. I asked for white tip since the beginning of my pedicure and the guy must've not listened because he had cut my nails too short for a nice white tip so my pedicure didn't come out good. And to finish this review off, I gotta say that paying $16, for a pedicure that didn't come out good and started chipping away the next day, I wouldn't reccomned this place. read more

I love this place! Used to come here just for eyebrows (which they also do a great job with) but decided to drop by for a full set one day and i've been back consistently ever since. Very clean, detailed and friendly! They are all extremely nice people that make you feel comfortable. Every one of their clients that has been there while me being there always seemed satisfied. So upset to leave this review in hope maybe the business will see it and give more to their customers. I've been a loyal customer here for years, I'd say since 2010, saw many workers come and go. They have always been my go to when pampering is needed asap. I just left Colorful Nails having not had time recently (8mos pregnant) to give myself any attention and definitely needed thorough cuticle attention and nail work. It was busy about 4 customers getting manis & pedis, was patient sitting waiting for a nail tech for about 15 min. An older woman tended to me. The concern started when I noticed the nail tech very quickly trimmed my nails and left a hang nail on my left big toe, rush filed through all 10 leaving tons that need filing down/cleaning up, then brought out the clippers to trim around my nail and noticed she did not go through any of my cuticles. She then took the clippers and for some reason dug it into the side of my right big toe and cut too deep causing some bleeding. My toe did not want to stop bleeding, as soon as it slowed down she continued with the alcohol, lotions, clear coat and polish right over my cut. It was really uncomfortable/burned. Then rushed through painting my other toes leaving my left toes inconsistent and a little messy with dry cuticles and all. I was so bummed seeing the really pretty nail jobs everyone else was getting. To be discrete about the situation, I asked to get my lip done in the other room and told the worker privately I wanted a discount for the cut the nail tech gave me and the lack of a good pedicure, she ignored me, tried to paint over the messy nails and clean the blood that was now mixed with the clear coat. My manicure also sadly is lacking due to a rush job, 2 thin coats that I pretty much have to paint over again at home. I was charged the full amount of $28 when really I could've replicated the same job right here at home. I really needed their help which is why I went in. I definitely would've saved the money if this is what I wanted :/ my advice to all that go here: go with the male nail tech he is honestly IMO the best there, tends to you fully and leaves your toes looking 100. If I stop by again, I'm definitely requesting him only. There was one other woman there that was doing a great job mani and pedi looked great on the neighboring customer. read more
