We got here pretty close to closing time, so we ended up having kind of a rushef experience so it's hard to review what it would've been like had it been different timing. I will say that the grounds are very beautiful. There was actually a professional photographer there doing a shoot. A great place to sit outside and drink wine on a beautiful day.

This winery felt really special. We loved the layout, vibe, and costumer service was on point. Plenty of seating and shade from the trees. The breeze made our afternoon really pleasant I loved that we could request a music station to be played. (I do think some Bose speakers throughout the outdoor area would be better than a huge speaker, as it could be an eye sore to some) We had a great time and left with 6 bottles. We also loved the camper friendly wine glasses. Lots of merch to pick from with reasonable prices. Bathroom was clean too. Great for dates, groups, or music in the fall. Look forward to coming back & relaxing! Their little charcuterie boxes were great too! Very tasty.

Yesterday (6/18) we had the absolute best time at Colterris at the Overlook. Mack, I believe her name was, did our wine tasting (3 of us all together) and she was incredible. She made me feel special on my birthday, but also made the two other people feel special as well. She was knowledgeable of the wine, very friendly and professional, and offered us to even try a wine that wasn't on the list. We went to another winery tasting after that and realized quickly nothing was going to beat our experience with her. The venue itself was gorgeous, and the wine was also incredible! We left with 3 bottles. Highly highly recommend this winery!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at Colterris Winery. The staff there is amazing! We got there around 3pm and grabbed a bottle of wine and sat outside in the Adirondack chairs to enjoy the weather and view. We saw they had a band setting up and thought we'd have some live music. But they were setting up for a paid event later in the evening (starting at 7pm). We decided to buy tickets and enjoy the show (The Long Run - an Eagles Tribute band). Even got to meet the drummer Wine here is very good! They also had 2 food trucks on premises for the event. The Thai food truck served delicious authentic Thai! We'd definitely stop here again. The views are not like your typical winery views... there are mountains .... just beautiful!

Beautiful scenery, right next to the Colorado river. The wine is amazing. I recommend the petit Verdot. As the hostess said " it can cut chocolate cak

Easy to see why this is one of the more popular wineries - lovely outdoor space with beautiful views, and tasty wines! We were advised that it can get crowded at times.

I adore this location. Yes, the other location has a lovely walking path, but this location has exceptional SHADED seating with unmatched views right in front of you. I always make a point to stop here when I arrive at Palisade. Their Petit Verdot is exceptional. They offer wine by the glass, bottle, as well as various tastings. The tasting is fairly priced at around $35 for 5 varieties. I like to pair the tasting with their small charcuterie set. If you don't get the charcuterie, at least get a small sample of the cheese from Holland. You can thank me later.

Absolutely beautiful winery with amazing wine! We were very impressed with every wine we tasted and ended up buying four bottles. Went to another place after this and wished we had just stayed here longer. Great service and good vibes. We didn't bring our doggos but this would be the perfect place to go if you have dogs. Highly recommend you stop here on your palisade wine tour!

One of my most favorite wineries in Colorado! We had a birthday celebration here with a tour and tasting! So fun! The winery is beautiful and the wine is to die for! It's definitely a must if you are in Palisade! I'm originally from CO but live out of state. Every time I visit, I HAVE TO purchase Colterris Wine! The Coral White and Rose are my favorite! Please stop by the winery or grab a bottle or cans from your local CO liquor store!

    Great scenery!

Beautiful venue. Nice outside seating area with a vineyard view. Three tastes for $5; 7 tastes for $10. Friendly staff. They give you tasting note cards for each wine. Three of their wines were "canned" wine, and were surprisingly good for wine in a can. Enjoyed most of the wines; especially liked the Sauvignon Blanc and the Malbec. Definitely worth a stop to sip some good wine while enjoying the scenery.

After reading through reviews of different wineries in palisade, this was the one I landed on. Dog friendly, walk in tastings, perfect! We got to learn a little about the winery just by walking in and looking over the menu. They also have snacks for purchase. You can sit anywhere outside closer to the vineyards or in the front under the trees with some shade. Literally the cutest vineyard. Obsessed.

Beautiful property! We went in for a tasting on our last stop so we were very tipsy. The man who spoke to us was so great. He explained the process and how their winery worked. Very knowledgeable and seemed to love what he did. Wines were mostly red which was not something we preferred. But I would definitely be back just for the experience and there are no bad wines :)

An absolutely beautiful setting with great wine. Both gentlemen working the bar were very helpful and polite! We will definitely return!

Amazing wines--It felt like we were in France. Wonderful atmosphere. If you're touring the Colorado Wine Country, Colterris is a must stop.

Mediocre wines. Women hosting samples more interested in herself than what the customers taste profiles were.

We did the tour which came with tastings, a tour, an engraved wine glass and a wine charm and it was the most amazing experience.

I planned a surprise 7th wedding anniversary for my wife by going to Palisade/Grand Junction…read more Really didn't have a lot planned for the weekend, but my wife had been wanted to got back here since here bachelorette celebration 7 years earlier, so I thought it would be fun. We knew there were plenty of wineries, but since my wife like trying new things and I didn't know where she had gone in the past, I had her pick the place to go when we got in and she 'randomly' selected this one. We couldn't have been happier. They have plenty of places to sit outside, but we went to the upstairs patio that overlooks the vineyard. It was a great choice. It's very pleasant, the view is beautiful, it's covered (so you're not baking in the sun), and when the breeze rolls through, it's perfect. We were a little taken aback that we had to go "all the way" downstairs when we wanted more wine, but then realized that it's the 'winery atmosphere' (remember - first day in to Palisade). We absolutely loved sitting on the patio and having a couple glasses of wine. We spent the next day visiting a few other wineries, but after two others, we decided to go back to Carboy. Sat on the upstairs patio again and listened to the live music (with a couple glasses of wine). It was amazing. Carboy has an assorted selection of food that can be ordered. We didn't order any, but it looked amazing and the people around us that did order things seemed happy with it. The only thing that we commented on was that when there's live music, we would have loved to have had the option of a food truck. If that had been the case, we both agreed that we probably would have stayed and had dinner there (as it was, we decided to leave and get dinner from a restaurant). If you're in Palisade (and are visiting wineries), I highly recommend Carboy. Personally, I'd skip the tasting 'flight' and go straight for a glass of wine, but that's mostly because the tasting varies from white to red (and I'm not a big fan of whites).

Beautiful patio and great drinks!! Service is top tear. Id recommend this place to anyone.read more
