We went tonight for Valentine's day food was awesome and the service was awesome our waiter was Jeremiah. Keep up the good food and service.

Went today and didn't even take pictures of the food. We were seated in the far rear left side of the building. Our server was very friendly. Waited almost 15 minutes for ice tea. Rolls and salad were brought at the same time. Another server brought our entrees. Our server walked past once and asked how everything was right after our plates arrived. Next time we saw her was two to-go cups and her asking if we needed boxes. Boxes and bill arrived. My glass was empty by the time e our entree arrived. It was not very busy. I guess a full glass is challenging. I would normally have tipped $5.00 per person. We really are not demanding. No special orders. Just want drinks. I left $3.00. I hate to be like that but servers need to serve. We could have gone to Mr.Gattis if we wanted this kind of service read more

Walked in one hour before close, took 5 minutes to be seated, 15 mins to get service, and that's after I asked for a server. Waitress was less than thrilled to get another table. Food arrived at our table 5 minutes before close. Food was good. read more

A local chain of steak houses and this restaurant in Campbellsville was just OK! Not even close to a Texas Roadhouse. They serve beer and wine with not much of a selection. The steaks we ordered came in the right temp but lacked flavor. The bread was warm but not something to write about. Service was better than the food but nothing out of the ordinary. In a small town with not many options, this is a decent eatery. Don't go here expecting a eat an amazing steak. You will not end up walking out of the restaurant hungry... that's for sure. There were 6-8 employee drinks on the waitress stand. Even one drink on the front of the stand. Restrooms were filthy and trash over flowing. Managers office door was open the entire time. Very unprofessional! We were seated by the kitchen doors. When they would open the kitchen doors the floor was covered in food and grease. One waitress had long hair and was not secured. Worst experience I've ever had here. Hour and a half wait and the food is wrong, need to send it back. After another twenty minutes finally had to find a manager. Very good overall. I had ribs and catfish, my wife had Hawaiian ribeye and both were really good and generous helpings. Angel, our server, was very pleasant, attentive and quick to respond. Welp, there was a fly in the honey so... that's probably the best place to start. The food was pretty good, standard Colton's kinda stuff. Great atmosphere and music, it was all country from the 90s and we had a great time reliving the high school years (or military years for the middle aged people in our group). Service was mediocre but no worse than I expected and one of the people in our group was dissatisfied with how his steak was prepared, but it was the subject of some debate as to whether it was truly prepared wrong or not. 30-minute wait to be seated with many empty tables just sitting unused. Ordered a tall Michelob Ultra and it came (I am not joking) with the mug handle so warm, it must have just been pulled out of a dishwasher or oven. The beer was room temperature. We ordered a blooming onion, and they brought a plate of onion crumbs or strays. My sister-in-law's salad never came so she had to ask for it after her entree came. The entrees were not that bad although not impressive in any way. We had catfish, fried shrimp, and grilled chicken. My wife had to wait over 20 minutes to get a refill on her Coke. Same with my beer which after the first horrible warm beer, I ordered beer in a bottle. Our waiter stayed in a corner joking and laughing with other employees, and would never look our way. We only went to Coltons because Garcia's, a far superior restaurant was temporarily closed. We will NOT be returning to Coltons. This was our second bad experience at this Campbellsville Coltons with warm, draft beer. Our experience was simply awful! Like most chain restaurants, Colton's is hit and miss. Honestly, it's mostly a miss. Sometimes the burgers are dry, fries are too salty, steak is over/under done and any number of other issues. The staff is the same. But sometimes they hit a homer. For instance, tonight Adam was our waiter. He was humorous, pleasant, timely, and prompt. Of course, we only had dessert, but it was delicious. If it weren't for the few times that they really blow it out of the water, I would have rated it lower. If you visit, have dessert....they're all good. read more

New in the area. Have heard mixed reviews, but wanted to give Colton's a try. My spouse and I arrive just before 8pm on Sunday evening. Hostess made no effort to greet the customers standing in the entry to be checked in, including us. We approached the hostess stand (after the group ahead of us left, ungreeted) because we realized we had to initiate contact! After about 5 minutes, we were seated. No one ever came to our table to greet us, take a drink order, or offer bread.... We waited 30 minutes, while multiple employees passed by our table, some several times. Still, no one said a single word to us! After working a 12 hour shift, having eaten little more than chips and a dry turkey sandwich all day, I was disappointed (at best). We decided if we were going to eat dinner, we would have to go somewhere else soon because everything in town closes at 9, except fast food. Not sure we will be giving it a second try. read more

I had to give it a 3 star as I have not tried an entree yet. I had the fried pickles which were enjoyable, and a grilled chicken Caesar Salad. Their complimentary bread rolls are excellent - however if they were paired with cinnamon butter it would be TOPS. I ran out of diet cola, and within a minute of queuing the slurps of an empty glass, the waitress heard it and was right out with a refill. She was that good! :) The food was served fairly quickly. My salad however, was not the freshest. Greens were a little soggier. Could have been a bit more chilled. But it was still good. Kind of different with a couple onion pcs and half an egg. It's expensive to eat here. I ate their the first time and had my food delivered. I was disappointed. The cole slaw went in the garbage. Yuk. I called them back twice to delivery my salad, even talked to the manager who claimed it was on the way. They lied, I never got my salad. Where do I start? We ate here three years ago when the place was new. It was kinda crappy then, but I figured they'd had some time to fix some of the problems. Silly me. I ordered the ribs, sauce on the side. I got two half racks. The one on top was moist, juicy and pretty tasty, the bottom rack was burnt to a crisp and had so much salt on it, that it was inedible. Fries were soggy and unseasoned. My wife ordered the rib-eye steak, mid-rare. It came mid-well instead so she sent it back. The server was great and the steak came back pretty quick, problem was the kitchen forgot to cook it! The server offered to get the steak put on for more time, at least til' the mooing stopped, but at that point the other diners were almost done. They gave us the two improperly cooked steaks to take home, one for the dog, the other we can cook ourselves! Then they took half the cost of the steak dinner off the bill.
