Went in because I wanted a backpack that I had seen online, but wouldn't arrive in the time I need it so I just decided to hit an in person store. The backpack I wanted was there but $15 more in the "outlet store" they do price match... but not at outlet stores. Mind you this was off of their own website so in short the outlet does not have better prices and you're better off getting better prices online. read more

This is probably the best Columbia Factory store I've ever entered even though it's not a huge store, it's very organized with the right amount of selection and great prices! Who loves outdoor apparel at a discount??? I do that's for sure. The discounts are mind blowing and great if you are looking to stock up on your winter wear. We went right after Christmas and it was packed. The parking can be a little intense because of all the traffic in this area. They do have a parking garage but if you are lucky, you can find street parking in front or along the shops. When we got inside the store the sales were going strong. Everything was 50-70% off which was amazing. I can honestly say, even though it was extremely busy, the staff remained calm and friendly which is a plus. I ended up getting a nice windbreaker jacket that was originally $90 but only paid $20 for it. I'm a sucker for great deals. There is a great selection of clothing for men, women, and children-so I am pretty sure you will find something because there are so many choices that will be great for the family. We have always been very fond of anything Columbia, but after a particularly great shopping experience at this specific location, during which the store associate Abdul showed his superior customer assistance skills, this store gained two customers for life. It is located in the middle of the Pike Outlets with plenty of parking on the street and nearby. There is a very large selection of clothing for all seasons and styles at great prices, tailoring to men, women and children. More often than not, they will offer a coupon code upon reaching a certain spending threshold. All the store employees are welcoming and eager to help but Abdul really stands out and makes a difference with his genuine enthusiasm and attitude. read more

Adding my kudos to Constance's great assistance. I'd come to buy clothing for a long trip I'm taking, and she was like a fairy godmother, except that the ball attire consisted of a lot of blue and khaki. "Can't wear that size." Zip! out the dressing-room door and into the store. Same with "But I like it it in olive green." The store isn't what I'd expected at all, in fact. Instead of a warehouse filled with stuff hung in random sizes on random racks and sort of folded on equally random tables, everything was crisp, organized and well displayed. I found everything I needed. Constance suggested things but she didn't try to hard-sell me on stuff, and I wound up taking quite a few of the suggestions. If you're doing anything outdoors, rugged or just sitting on a boulder watching everyone else wear themselves out, this is your place. read more

I love this Columbia factory store. I love that the workers here are always nice, helpful, and go out their way to assist you. I remember calling at the end of the day of Black Friday and went in the day after and even then experienced great customer service unlike the Citadel outlet location. Came in here with my boyfriend not expecting to purchase anything but I came out with lots of good quality clothing for good prices. My bf bought me a sweater that was 70% off and a jacket for his brother as well and other men wear clothing. You just can't beat these sales going on right now at the Columbia outlet store. I was also able to sign up to earn points and get emails of their upcoming sales as well as coupons. I'm really looking forward to hearing from any other sales or coupons because I really want some hiking boots from here. Aside form their good deals, the two ladies working here that day were amazing. There were so nice, friendly and helpful. Severely displeased. First off love this brand & Cabazon Columbia outlet-store and customer service at the Cabazon location. Kudos to them, they freakin rock! They had Good deals, we easily left the store with about $400 worth of merchandise. They had fabulous customer service helping us find sizes we needed in the colors we liked and they even offered incentives to COME BACK for events and future sales. 2. Visiting this Long Beach location for my first two times was pleasant, not bad not amazing. Good customer service, they helped me exchange some things without any problems. The three people that helped me smiled and were very genuine. Plus it's closer than Cabazon, even Citadel is far enough making this Long Beach location super convenient. Not the same experience but great none the less. 3. My third time visiting this store was 100% Disappointing. -8:45pm Wednesday December 21. I call to see if this location has holiday hours. A young man answers the phone, I ask if they have holiday hours for this week since most places do. He replies sounding not excited about it that they close at 10:00. He doesn't offer the time they open the next day, he doesn't offer their closing times for the next day or even the rest of the week, and he doesn't say that they will close early if they're dead/slow. Which ends up being the case later in the evening. -9:10pm Wednesday December 21. I tell my family that just got in from riverside a little earlier, let's go! We get there at 9:30 which I feel is reasonable we're not getting a service or ordering food, we're gonna look around and possibly buy a jacket for my father in law. - so to repeat myself we get there around 9:30, The lights are dimmed and I try the doors and they are locked. Two employees glance over and one walks to the door, as the other is looking from behind the cashier counter. at this point 2 other people are outside with the 3 of us. I'm trying to ask why they're closed maybe computer shut down, maybe a flood, maybe an emergency? and if this was the case? I was also trying to also ask what time they opened the next day since father in law was leaving the next day. The young man refused to open the door mouthing he didn't have the keys... and by the way the couple that walked up behind us was trying to purchase the things they had ON HOLD from the (tuesday) night previous. They said "the store closed at 10:00 yesterday we assumed they'd have the same hours today..." -9:40pm Wednesday December 21, I go next door and ask the people at the Cotton-on retail store if there was something that happened with Columbia, we called and showed up TO them being closed. They said nothing they knew of but maybe they closed early if they were slow?? which even the cotton on manager questioned.... Soooooo the Long Beach location Columbia outlet-store has chosen to close early???? Like a mom and pop shop? Not like a corporation retail store... despite having told a customer over the phone that their closing hour is at 10:00????? Despite having five customers standing in the rain 30 minutes before their closing time.... despite having closed the day before at 10:00 including the day before that closing at 10:00. they still chose to close early??? Then they refuse to talk to people (MIND YOU standing in the RAIN) like human beings pretending they cannot open the door, like magically they keys are gone or missing or not working???? AND there are customers that have already had their items ready and on hold and only just needed to pay and were turned down?? How does this make sense??? And both employees were seemingly put out by people trying to shop??? Three times as we were trying to hear and talk to the young Hispanic guy through the thick doors which were like soundproof.... I caught the young BLONDE employee scowling at us.... what the fuck at this point I'm so angry... So to conclude this WASTE OF MY TIME!!!! 1. Hours were not honored as advertised. INCONSISTENT. 2. Customers were treated as "dumb" through the door, with essentially zero real communication except we had to lip read the employee say "I don't have the key". IMPOLITE!! 3. Then We get glared at by another employee... because we're trying to patronize their establishment. ILL-MANNERED!!! 100% entirely and thoroughly dissatisfied. read more

Came in here really just wondering around the pike outlets and we were treating absolutely wonderfully by their staff. They were two ladies working at the time and they were both very polite and friendly to us while there. We came in Thursday at around 1pm so whomever was on the clock at that time really deserves a high five from their boss. Now for the deals, overall I'd say everything in the store was on sale and pretty moderately reduced in price. Where you'll really find the deals are in the clearance section, they have items 50 and 70% off of their last marked price. We got some absolutely amazing deals here for clothes that we would have otherwise not purchased. Overall good spot for some outdoorsy gear. read more

I almost never give 5 stars unless I have a stellar experience. I had one at this store and with the on-line sales, both very positive. We are going on a long Alaskan Cruise and needed to layer up: it needed to keep us warm, dry and also be comfortable. We found the 3-in-1 jackets, rain pants, gloves, hats, thermal underwear (funny name, they are called baselayer) and shoes and was helped with every decision we made. Once home, decided I should get some nice, comfortable, warm, water resistant, sort of stylish slacks. The on-line store had a lot to choose from. So, I ordered one pair to do a size check and the waist was too big, should have followed the sizing chart. I returned them (super easy). Received 4 e-mails about: return information, arrival, processing returns and then when the money was credited back to my PayPal Account. Very pleasurable return experience. I ordered four more pairs (different colors), this time with the correct waist size and got the pants within several days. With so many details to get ready for the cruise, so happy I decided to buy from Columbia Sportswear. read more

I wish I got the floor manager's name from the morning of 1/6/19, but he did an exceptional job in giving the best customer service. This store is inside the Pike Place Outlets. There's parking garage and metered parking. Excellent prices. When I went, they had back to school sales. I am frequently in the area and I stop by this store at least twice a month. The staff is always friendly and helpful, especially the manager, Christian Sanders. I spend a lot of time outdoors doing nature observation and data collection, and most of my field gear is Columbia, thanks to this store. Pricing is very good and sometimes downright amazing, with the promotions and coupons that they have. I trust the quality of the product and the advice of the staff there. I'm glad there's finally one nearby! The employees here are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. No need to pay premium prices for apparel when Columbia has great gear for fair prices. Christian is always super friendly and knowledgeable. Corporate should be glad they have him! My average piece of clothing from Columbia lasts me about 6-10 hears and once I get rid of them, it's usually because I don't fit it anymore. :( Park in the structure and get validation at the checkout counter. Prices have gone up for most Columbia products, but the sales here are extremely random so you kind of have to visit often or call in often. read more

I was gifted a Columbia fleece and baselayer. Both of which not my size.
