Probably my favorite hot topic location honestly. They're pretty stocked on all sizes and everything and they don't make me feel rushed ever. They'll take the time to look into what other stores have what you need. Today Jay helped my son. He told her he was on mission to find something for 5 dollars that was blue and squishy. She really took her time and was really patient and sweet with him. I really appreciated that as Mama with an Autistic kiddo. Stella was also working today and she's helped us in the past. The customer services is always great here 10/10. Sad to be moving out of the area but will definitely come back to visit read more

Everyone is nice here! The store is kinda small and items are limited and a lot of stuff is behind security locks. Probably high theft with kids or something. The only thing I don't like is their in store stock is not accurate to what it says is there online. read more

The Pike Outlet has improved since my last visit. I was in search for sunglasses. H&M, Forever 21 and Gap did not have any I liked. Surprisingly, Hop Topic did. They were having a buy one get the second pair for $1 deal and I took the opportunity. The young lady working at the time was very friendly and checked up on me. She didn't hover which I appreciated. My only negative thought is the store is very cramped! I couldn't wait to make my purchase and leave.There was plenty of other customers in the store while I was trying on sunglasses. If I had other shopping bags, I can only imagine knocking things over! I most likely will not be coming back again. read more

Probably one of my favorite Hot Topic locations. I love how active they are on their Instagram. A while back they had an employee that kind of creeped me out but from what I've seen he's gone now, meaning the ones with non-heebie jeebie vibes are the only ones left. Never had a bad experience here, my only down point would be the fact that it seems they deal with a lot of shoplifting, which isn't a bad mark for them but rather a point lost for the clientele. read more

Employees want to keep their inventory a "secret" for what? It is better for their customers to know what was available and be helpful and mindful that people drive and come from a far distance to their location for certain items. Today I called wanting to know their inventory on funko drop and I was told by a female that I can check their Instagram and that I can find all information there. Which I had already and my reason for calling was because there was no information at all in regards to their funko. Whatever I still made a long drive out there to their location just for them not to have it. All I have to say is she could have been more helpful and just said there was only a certain amount available and how many people were already waiting since they know how their funko drops usually go. It's not difficult to have communication and it's no secret to just let the customers know, we the customers know how funko drops go and we are all adults about it and it is not if called her personal phone. I called the business wanting to know inventory. These employees need to quit making their own rules when it comes to funko drops. read more

Constantly try and go here but every single time this one associate decides to make up her own policies. I never have problems at any hot topic when buying 5 blind boxes last time I went she told me I couldn't buy 5 and use my phone number or discounts when the policy CLEARLY states that, when I showed her to her face she refused to honor it. I went again today to get some blind boxes because I had 4 rewards available I only picked up 4 because I recognized her and didn't want any issues. When i asked her to use my points she stated you can only use 1 at a time which has never been the case and then again blamed it on a "policy" that I know she made up, I can go online right now and purchase something with all of my rewards so I guess I'll be doing that instead . I don't know what her issue is but I'm always leaving without buying because she won't let me just buy what I want. Hot topic really needs to step in and go over their policies with their management if they're letting their employees frustrate their customers to the point where I don't even want to buy read more

I came here to check out the shirts. I was interested in some of the reproduction Nirvana shirts, however, again, with the exchange rate I was a little careful about the purchases. I did come and see a really cool Legend of Zelda shirt that I fell in love with. Customer service was fun and friendly. A little tight in the shop, therefore, navigation was a bit of a challenge but workable. read more

My Florida friend had lost the majority of her belongings in the Hurricane so I bought her some new clothes/shoes to mail out to her asap to help her along. I didn't have a bag to place the items in so I could walk to the post office and mail them. I walked into Hot Topic and a tall guy with dark hair who seemed like a "manager" was behind the front desk. I was carrying a whole bunch of lose clothing items and shoes in my arms and politely asked if I could please have ONE, plastic shopping bag and joked that it was "free advertising" that I walk around town with a "Hot Topic" bag even though the items inside were not Hot Topic. He said (arrogantly) "Um... I'm not in the business of giving away free bags." Thinking he may have misunderstood that I only needed ONE, I said, "Just.. one, plastic bag...?" He said "Um, no." I asked if I could give him a dollar for it. He said "No thanks" and wouldn't LOOK at me. I quietly walked out... just blown away by the lack of humanity and display of arrogance I had just witnessed. I hope the other workers don't take lessons on customer service from him. I'm here 2 times a week. My company and I frequent Hot Topic for costume items (I work for Carnival Cruise Lines.) I will never go there again. I will also request that all other performers from my ship avoid shopping there as well. read more

I recently visited this location and was met with the utmost disrespect. The store manager Adrian was doing clerical duties at the front and called an assosiate over to help us make the transaction.Already on an awkward task of shopping for my 13 year old, Adrian gave us the absolute worst attitude while making said purchase. All i had was a 100 dollar bill. He asked if it was all i had which it was. He then scoffed at me and repeatedly told the sales associate assisting us to cancel the transaction getting louder each time. Adrian proceeded to rudely inform me that i would be taking all the change the register had. Pulled out his wallet and in the absolute worst way possible informed me that "this is not a bank Man cmon" proceeding to scoff and deliver rude glares at my wife and I. I have shopped Hot Topic for 15 + years and i have never had any sort of treatment as such. Being in retail one understands that a back up bank is always necessary. No matter what the total of the sale is change should always be on hand. For someone who is supposed to be the store manager what kind of example is he setting in being absolutely terrible with customer service. If Adrian had maybe been a bit more willing to display some respect for his patrons this yelp review would not be necessary. I will never be returning to this Hot Topic location and will inform my peers to do the same in not shopping at Hot Topic at The Pike Outlets. read more
