Columbia Factory Store is located in the Outlets at Anthem also known as Outlets North Phoenix. This is a little confusing as the outlet itself is nowhere near North Phoenix. While hanging out with my dad for the day we stopped in so he could look at some shoes. It's not really my style for the most part, but I was able to find a light weight jacket and some cute socks. The store was organized and clean and had quite a assortment of shoes. Service however was crummy. No hello when we walked in, no can I help you when we walked by two different employees while in the store for a good thirty minutes. The girl we checked out with was a bit friendlier. All in all would have been a five star stop if they acted like they cared we were in the store. They did have some decent sales which was nice because things can be quite expensive here. read more

You can find some really good deals on outdoor clothing and shoes here. They have the sun shield fabric (omni shield) in shirts, hats and pants. There is a heat shield one too. Their shoes are very nice, I got my favorite trail runners here. They have a lot of nice jackets for rain and warmth. There is not a lot of gear but a small selection of bags, tents, water bottles, etc. The employees are nice and non-pushy. My favorite outlet store here for sure. read more

We had a gift card for the Columbia Sportswear outlet and came here to spend it. Columbia gear is awesome, but premium priced. We spent a while looking for something to purchase with our $100 gift card. We settled on a long sleeved shirt that was on the sale rack for $65 and a couple of hats for $25 ea....yep, we spent a little more than the gift card, but that was to be expected. We went to the Anthem store yesterday evening to exchange 2 items we had bought Monday on our way back from a camping trip around Prescott (wrong sizes). We also wanted to browse for more presents since I am leaving at the end of the week to visit family. Since it was after 7:30 p.m, we were the only 2 customers in the store. We were able to do the exchange and found two additional presents (a vest and a raincoat). The two employees in the store (the manager and the cashier) were extremely helpful and nice. When we came out (around 8:15 p.m), we realized that the stores around us were closed and that the 2 employees had kept the store open for us. I don't know why I thought the stores at Anthem closed at 9:00 p.m. They don't, they close at 8:00 p.m. every day except during the holiday shopping season. First of all, we want to apologize to the 2 people in the store yesterday September 25 at 8:00 p.m for preventing them from going home at their scheduled time. We also want to say thank you. We already were big fans of the Columbia Brand and the Anthem store. Your kindness and patience just make us bigger fans. Came here to look for a heavy coat to bring with me to Germany over the winter and didn't want to spend too much money since I'd never really have a reason to wear it again living in hot ole Arizona. I had been searching on Amazon for jackets and couldn't really find anything for less than $300. On our way home from Flagstaff, we dropped by and decided to check out the store. They had plenty of stuff in there and I found a jacket that I liked but didn't know how warm it would keep me. One of the sales reps there came over and went into detail about all the "perks" that the jacket came with. I thought that was really nice. I ended up buying the jacket - it was tagged at $140 but at check out, there yet another discount applied so it came out to $109. What a deal!! read more

I've always liked this store...now I love it. We live in North Scottsdale, so this place is a good 25 miles away. It's Memorial Day Weekend and we are halfway to the store AND one of the biggest sales of the year when J. says to me, "you remembered the 20% off coupon, DIDN'T you???". Well, no, I have to admit I didn't and we got there to a store full of people and put our hands almost immediately on what we came for plus more. Enter Mary...upon telling her that I forgot the coupon and thought we were going to spend the $100 minimum to qualify, she took the time on this very busy day to look up my membership number and coupon code, enabling us to save $20 on top of the great discounts they already had. I think this is one of the best places to get outdoor clothing in the area...shop the Holiday sales and save enough to fill your tank in gas and get out to the great outdoors. read more

I've loved shopping at this great store ever since it opened. Now I live 500 miles away and when I visit Phoenix this is one of my MUST stops. The store always has a big variety of clothing and accessories for the outdoor and casual lifestyle. I hesitate to think how much money I've spent here over the years. The previous poster is correct about store manager "Mary." She is great, so helpful with customers and she's on the floor nearly all the time. She's trained the staff very well, service at this store is excellent, certainly the best in any outlet store I've ever visited. Bonus in this store - they extend a 10% military discount to active duty, retired, and dependents. If you're in the Phoenix area and you need outdoor clothing, head straight to the Columbia Outlet at Anthem. In the summer time used the covered parking on the west side of the buildings at the north end where the Columbia store is located. read more

They have a seriously great selection of Columbia gear (obviously) and they have a bunch of stuff at great prices. My mom got a great down winter coat for $120 and I got some awesome mittens for skiing that were totally toasty for $10! Win!!! read more

Got some terrific merchandise here at excellent prices. While I love some of the higher priced brand names, the Columbia quality is equal and the prices at this outlet store are more suited to our current situation. This is first-rate merchandise as far as updated styles and colors. Check out the lightweight fleece pullovers that are comparable to pricier brands in quality, but not in price. I will add that this is not generally merchandise I would think is for folks climbing Everest, but it is the right stuff for the rest of us. The staff is great too in all aspects. Very clean and attractive store as are all the stores at the Anthem Outlets that we visited. read more
