Holly has always been awesome to me, but she recently went above and beyond...I purchased a brand new Colt Revolver from another shop (she wasn't even involved!) and right out of the box, I had some very serious issues with the pistol (Serious enough where Holly and crew said I am lucky the pistol did not explode in my hand). I attempted to contact Colt Customer Service for months without any success. I was going to just call it a wash and bring it to a local Gun Smith for repairs, even though the pistol was under warranty. I explained my situation to Holly, not expecting her to do anything (again-she had nothing to do with this purchase and had nothing to gain from this). Instead of getting the expected "oh, that sucks...too bad" answer I was expecting, she offered to contact a Colt rep she had become acquainted with and make sure this gets taken care of. Fast forward a couple of days, and my defective pistol has a new RMA drafted and is on its way back to Colt to (hopefully) get fixed for good. On top of this, I have been impressed by the knowledgeable staff (not just Holly)! I am the kind of guy who unfortunately asks a lot of stupid questions, but I have yet to ask something that they don't instantly know or have quick access to. I typically frequent another gun store, just because it is in a more convenient location closer to my house, but as Holly went WAY above and beyond to help me, she has definitely earned all of my future business. This is going to be one loyal customer i10/10 - would DEFINITELY recommend for all of your firearms needs. read more

YELP has hidden a number of four and five star reviews under the heading "not recommended", yet they've wasted space with very long negative reviews that describe circumstance that are the fault of the reviewer. Terrible customer service, a serious lack in responsibility, and not worth the effort. I called ahead to coordinate a transfer from an FFL in California, they said they would be open on Christmas Eve, that they would only be closed on Christmas day, this is the only reason I decided to go with them. I'm in the military and was only there for a limited amount of time, so I had to plan very carefully, allotting enough time for the background check. On Christmas Eve, at 10am (the time they said they would be open) I called to check on the status and confirm that my handgun was ready. No answer. I called repeatedly to no avail. Google stated they were open 10am-6pm, the same hours they told me over the phone. The answering machine was over a year old, stated the store hours were noon to 6pm, said nothing of the holidays, and did not allow me to leave a message. Their website was down, and their Facebook page stated they were open 1-6pm. I sent them a message on Facebook asking about their store hours, asked them to contact me, told them my situation, etc... nothing. At 1pm, my parents and I decided to physically go to the store. The sign stated they were open 10am-6pm, and that they would only be closed on Christmas Day and New Years day, and yet, they were closed. The day after Christmas, I called to confirm everything was good to go, mind you, I was supposed to leave that day. When I came by and inquired about their store hours and the discrepancies I ran into, the owner was completely unsympathetic; it was clear she didn't care, she didn't even apologize. She stated that after she had been open on Christmas Eve for 8-9 years, and working an insane amount of hours every week, she simply decided she should have it off. When I pointed out that their sign on the door said they were supposed to be open, and I was told they would be, she said, "I didn't make that sign. Who made that?" To which one of her employees stated it had to be run by her before going up. If you want a holiday off, fine, take it, but make it known you won't be open, don't lie to customers. Update your answering machine, and look into ensuring your store hours are up to date everywhere. I get that its a small business, but thats just poor business etiquette. read more

Since my return to the Tri-Cities I have been on a search for my go-to gun store but I am happy to write, "Eureka" for I have found exactly what I was seeking. Holly is exceedingly helpful, open about the purchase process, willing to do research to find the gun I wanted, and she is very knowledgeable. The price for my purchase was competitive with the largest (as far as gun inventory) stores in the area and that is also key to the fact that I will return when I want to make my next gun purchase. I only buy from Gun Rack if they are the only place who has the item I'm looking for at the time, I was one of the first customers to shop there when they first opened, The Dad is a great Guy, Honest and is willing to give you a good deal when buying or selling, But His Daughter Holly runs the store most of the time, she is a nice enough person but as a business person she is Terrible, one of the Worst Low ballers I have ever met, a few years ago I had Just lost My job and needed money so I went to sell an Item, ( almost new ) she said they were junk and she would only pay $60.00 because she could only sell it for $100.00 I knew better but I was broke and needed the cash so I took the $60.00 but when I went in to see what she was selling it for She had it priced at $200.00 This one of several examples I could give but it is SOP if Holly is the one you have to Deal with. Talos Tactical in West Richland is a MUCH better store, I have never felt cheated on any transaction with Matt at Talos. read more

I took a rifle from my grandfather in to have it cleaned and a new stock put on in July 2018, I was told it would take some time to find a replacement stock. After waiting 2 months I began to call to see if it was ready, at that time I was told it was cleaned but the stock would "take some time" since they don't make the rifle anymore. I was told it would take about a month or so more. I wasn't really happy but, I could live with a month. Finally in December without hearing any status report from them I had enough. I went in only to be given one excuse after another and told it would take another 2-3 weeks, since the stock had just come in. I asked to see the gun, since I was worried they sold it, when it was brought out I noticed on the mailing package that the stock had been received 3 weeks ago. I'm not trying say that they will lie to you and bill you for a full job when only doing half of it, but I did end up leaving the store with my gun after paying full price and having to install the stock myself. And after getting it on my bench I found parts missing so I can't attach the stock at all now. What a circus. If you are looking for a gunsmith I do not recommend this shop, unless you like excuses and a run around. read more
