The pizza here is quite good. They also have specialty pizzas like carne asada, al pastor, and even a pastrami one to boot. Its a little gem, next to a tattoo parlor. They have a small but good selection of beers on tap. Plus, their beer prices can't be beat. I usually get one while I am waiting for my order to be ready. You can eat there or take out. TERRIBLE. I came in with my friend to have lunch the lady who took my order left after taking my order to deliver a pizza. The cook brought out our food and it was the wrong order. The buffalo wings are exactly the way I like them: cooked perfectly with just enough bite to them to want more. I have a hankering for these at least once a week. What has put them on the map here are their specialty pizzas, particularly the Pastrami or the Chicken Alfredo. The pizzas have a rich flavor that I don't typically see otherwise. A lot of care and customer feedback has definitively gone into their efforts. The care and effort they put into all of their foods are apparent! My family has gone back several times, with special requests for the Pastrami. They are generous with the toppings and the mix of meat, mustard and pickles are a great 'Combo'. If you happen to be in the area and want an alternative to the gastropubs East of their location, this is a great solid pizza that is worth the price. read more

From the outside this looks like any other pizza place very non-assuming. But they have such unique pizza toppings and flavors. Our favorites are the carne asada which comes with this delicious salsa and the top has onions and cilantro and a bean spread. Amazing. I went here during the opening week, so perhaps things have improved, but I was not impressed. The customers in the restraunt appeared to all be friends of the owner, and one lady was sitting by herself speaking quite loudly phrases such as, "Oh my God this is the best pizza EVER" and "No need for Little Ceasers anymore!!!" it was hilarious. The restraunt was dirty, a couple tables still had dishes on them , yet no customers. One table had a laptop and some paperwork on it. Just sitting there sprawled out acoross the entire table, leaving me a small table next to the crazy lady doing the Meg Ryan routine. I ordered the combo pizza -- seemed fitting. I like to try pizza with classic toppings, or no toppings, in order to get an opinion of the pie. The toppings were cut in strange shapes and fell off the pizza. There was not enough sauce -- although it was quite bland to begin with -- and the dough was nothing special either. Just stiff freezer quality pizza with a whole mess of raw veggies that fell off with every bite/ The pizza was not bad, but not great either. When there are so many options for great pizza nearby I don't have any desire to return here. I think Combos needs to learn that topping, do not great pizza make. read more

If I could, I would give them 10 stars out of the normal 5!!! They delivered past closing on a Friday night in less than 30 minutes. They have a better selection of food than the closest pizza place to me. Awesome pizza crust seasonings. First pizza I had that wasn't greasy. :) Their ranches are free. Delivery is free. Prices are great for the amount you get. Also, one time I came in and they ran out of what I ordered. They actually drove out to get fresh ingredients right at that moment for me. and while I waited they gave me garlic bread for "all my trouble." Their desserts are pretty bomb. Called on Friday night for a delivery order. Was quoted 40 minutes, they showed up in 30. Score. Free delivery with 15$ minimum order and 10% off for yelp check in - this was a great Friday dinner (and Saturday morning breakfast). Ordered the mushroom and pepperoni pizza - it tasted better the next day. All in all okay but not mind blowing pizza. The crust is okay - it is not as doughy or fluffy as papa johns. They made it rain with pepperonis on top though so I will give them points for that. Also ordered the buffalo wings. A bit bland - should of asked for spicy. All in all pretty good if you want to avoid the big chains although if Costco delivered I would probably say grab that if you want bang for your buck. read more

I found this place via yelp because I had been disappointed with the last several pizza deliveries we have had around Fullerton. The very last one, from somewhere I won't name, literally was like eating paper (seriously, ate an entire half of a large pizza and was still hungry...I usually eat 2-3 slices, there was nothing on it!!!) I mean I love thin crust but it had no toppings either. Ok. So I have never EVER had FULL service on a delivery. This must have been super special. So Arianna answers the phone. She was super delightful. Informative and kind. At one point we got disconnected and I called back and we shared a laugh about it. She quoted us 45 min. 30 min bam. Pizza delivered. And guess who it was....??!!! Arianna!! She was even sweeter in person than on the phone! And to top it off: she even made my pizza! So Ariana single handedly took my order, made my pizza, then delivered it by car to me! Um yes she deserves a tip like dining in....perhaps even more for all that work!! On to the pizza: not as hot as we like when we receive a delivery but hey- things cool in time and even when I buy take out its cooler once I get home. Comes with the situation. Pizza had toppings!! And was filled with toppings! Not that bare skimpy slightly flavored cardboard we had before from another place. 2 slices on the large and I'm full!! (Buuut I ate 3 cuz it was Yums) Lastly, price was super reasonable! Cheaper than other local delivery places. Regardless, the point is: we will from now on only order delivery from here. I'm sad to be giving this place 3 stars. I phoned in my order for a small pizza with two flavors: 1/2 all meat with no beef and 1/2 bbq chicken. I didn't check my pizza until I got home and realized that the order was wrong. I received 1/2 combo and 1/2 bbq chicken. This was a problem since I don't like olives or mushroom and boy were they generous with those toppings. This dropped my review to a 4/5. After eating the pizza, i realized I had a tough time eating the bbq chicken side because the chicken tasted like it had been thawed from frozen and still had that taste and texture attached to it. i can't say I was expecting something premium, but I had to take all the chicken off. This dropped my review to a 3/5. The service was nothing to complain about but I did notice that there was a table that hadn't been bussed and they were by no means busy. Still debating if I will be back for another pizza, but give it a try... it seems to be a beloved spot! read more

I've ordered delivery from Combo's Pizza three times now, and I'm definitely a fan of this place and they're pizza quality. The flavors of the cheeses and the other ingredients are bursting with a different approach than the other pizza joints in the area. This approach is good. It's more or less a home-styled / mom & pop style pizza joint taste. There are a couple times where the pizza did take longer than they had quoted, but I personally feel as if it pays off in the end. The customer service here is remarkable. Even though sometimes ordering over the phone is kind of rough at times, they're still very polite and oozing with customer service with the delivery. CARNE ASADA PIZZA?!?! what a great concept along with pastrami pizza. Although the carne pizza was a bit on the spicier side, it was pretty good. Their regular pizzas were good too. The delivery was 5 STARS ! The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because I need to try other items in the future and also because of a slight problem I initially had when calling to place an order. The lady was nice but had to put me on hold to deal with other patrons which took a little longer than it should have so I hung up and decided to try using Yelp's Eat24 system. It was fast and easy to use. It will give you an email confirmation where you can also check the status of your order. For me it said delivery confirmation time is 6:41pm and at exactly 6:41pm the delivery guy rang my doorbell. It was unbelievably perfect timing! The pizzas arrived hot and fast, much better than Papa John's. Will definitely frequent this again. read more
