It took us two days and three trips to the store to get our lines transferred from AT&T to them last fall (better prices yes, worse cell and way worse customer service). Today, I went in for new phone as mine is broken. They stated we can't do the monthly bill for the new phone but could not or would not tell me why but graciously offered for me to pay full MSRP for said phone. I walked out and got the phone I wanted, brand new for 40% less going direct to the manufacturer. What a scam and clown show Xfinity is. Might be switching back to AT&T soon. read more

Your service price continued to increase every few months, it had more than doubled since I started with Xfinity. I called a few times over the years asking if there were any promotional discounts for a loyal long time customer and was told no. Yet when I called to cancel I'm given a promotion to cut my bill in half. Naturally, I was quite leery as this was all new, but as soon as Kristeena took over, she was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, kind and patient. I've tried several times to disconnect my service from the property I was moving from. After I moved out I kept getting calls, sometimes 10x a day trying to collect on a contract I never signed. I've been in contact with customer service where they informed there was a contract and they would email me the contract... they never did. I called again the next day and was informed there is no contract. So Comcast sent my personal information to a group of overseas criminals to harass me multiple times a day for a contract that I'm now being told doesn't exist to collect on services that were not rendered. My information was sent to these criminals deliberately to harass me outside the confines of US laws. Comcast advertises how they take my personal information seriously to protect me yet deliberately puts me in harms way sending my info to out of the country companies to be outside of US jurisdiction. Complaints will be filed and you've lost a customer for life... for all Comcast brands. read more

Horrible Customer service. I'm blind but use internet for home automation. First they sent me a modem that was DOA. Spent 2hrs trying to get by the automated assistant. Finally spoke to a rep( Could hardly speak English) . Assured me I would get a new modem sent and the old one picked up. Well 5 days later after not receiving the replacement I once again spent almost 2 hrs before the automated assistant transferred me to a rep. Only to find that the first rep didn't order a new modem and that they do not pickup the faulty equipment. I asked how am I supposed to return the defective modem she replied " Drive to a service center" I reminded her I was blind and can't drive. She could careless. I moved into an apartment at The Arbors at Silver Lake in Leesburg, FL in December of 2016. Part of my monthly rent was a $49 charge for cable TV. When I went to the local Comcast/Xfinity Office in Leesburg, FL to set up an internet connection, I was not given a cable box, nor was I made aware that I needed one to access the cable channels I was paying for. I had previously subscribed to cable through AT&T in Oviedo, FL and needed no box...everything I subscribed to came directly from the coaxial cable connection from the wall. I tried several times during the next couple of weeks to view cable programming, all to no avail. I wrote it off to poor cabling in the building. I went to the same local Comcast office to inquire about an increase in my internet service on December 14, 2018. During the conversation, the representative told me I would have an additional 100 or so channels with my new service. I told him it was a moot point because I had such horrible reception anyway. He suggested I unplug and re-plugin my cable box. I told him I had never been given a cable box. When he checked my account, he laughed and said "We never gave you a box, why didn't you ask for one." I told him I had previously been with AT&T and hadn't needed one, so I had no reason to assume I would need one with Comcast/Xfinity. He then gave me a box, which I took home, connected and had good reception. When I moved out in January of 2019, I was given the contact information for Tyri Travis, the Comcast Representative in the area. I contacted Tyri via email on January 15 and he emailed back on January 16 to let me know he needed to do a bit of research, but would get back with me. He called my mobile number on January 18 and got more information on my situation-he again said he would get back with me. When I hadn't heard back from him, I emailed him again on January 24. He responded back right away to let me know Comcast would not be giving me a refund for the service I had paid for. He tried to say it was my apartment's responsibility. I emailed back to let him know I didn't agree with his decision and asked for his manager's contact information. He responded saying he would forward my information to his manager who would get back with me. It's now January 29 and I'm still waiting for a manager to contact me.... I'm looking for a refund of $1,176, which represents $49 paid over a 24 month period. read more

I haven't had such horrible experience with any other company. September 24 at 1:00pm, I've called customer scheduled moving of my services(TV+internet) on September 27th to a new location. I got new account id and phone number to activate it on September 27th when I move in to the new location. 1 hour later I've realized that my services were shut down (regardless of my moving date September 27th). I called to customer services numerous times in order to figure out what happened and why I don't have services working. I was proposed different answers: - it's impossible to restore your service because customer support specialists registered my equipment at new address - we can credit you several days back on you account while you won't have services - you can go to closest comcast service center and pick up new equipment which you can activate at my old place - and etc... I've asked to speak with a supervisor and my call was dropped... It took from 3pm till 7pm when ,finally, one of your customer service representatives were able to comprehend a problem and come with solution to create a new account , transfer equipment back and restore services back at my place. At the end of the day I got my services back working again. 4 hours battle on phone with at least 16 times transfer my call from 1 department to another and verifying my address, personal data each time, instead of solving actual problem. I was really surprised when I got billing email today with installation fees charges $40 (Install Fee - Video Unwired Home -$20, Install Fee - Internet - $20). Kudos to the team for good customer service. Went in on a Friday because the phone lines were down and I could not place a service request. I was visiting my elderly mother who was having problems with her TV and didn't know what to do. The staff listened to the symptoms she was experiencing and recommended a new box.
