Kudos to the team for good customer service. Went in on a Friday because the phone lines were down and I could not place a service request. I was visiting my elderly mother who was having problems with her TV and didn't know what to do. The staff listened to the symptoms she was experiencing and recommended a new box. Within a couple hours the new box was installed and the old equipment returned. Very easy job and zero hassle! Thanks Comcast!!!!! read more

Rating is for Comcast customer service in general. Warning, before you ever consider their Mobile service call their help line. Unless you are ok with 1 hour wait times, reps that don't have any authority to do anything and in general the worst customer service experience you will have, go elsewhere. Ordered Comcast internet and TV service for my home and they convinced me to switch to their mobile service. After three calls and over 2 hours on phone I told them to cancel service. I was told no problem they would cancel it. Noticed month later I had charges for mobile service. After no less than three more hours with three more reps, each time being told charges would be credited and account would be closed it looks like it finally happened. Always ask for agents ID number and make notes because they don't follow through on commitments. read more

Where to even start with how poorly run. One comment below referred to making a widow (I presume with a driver's license & whom resided at same address with her late husband) bring in a DEATH CERTIFICATE. Do they KNOW how much that costs to get extra copies ? Or, is this part of their business "plan" to make sure they get an extra month's $$. I stopped at office to purchase new phone. Was told to call and check the next day to make sure they had received their stock. Looked up phone number on their website. Called to talk to employee who was checking to get the phone I wanted to purchase (already have account, just wanted new purchase a new phone). Number on website did not work, person I reached could barely speak English and kept saying: I understand I understand, you want to speak about your TELEVISION. No matter how many times I REPEATED this was about calling the person who ASKED ME to call about if they got the phone in that I wanted to buy.... it was useless, they person did not understand anything, let alone the difference between purchasing a cell phone, and calling about a problem with TV. It was so frustrating ! Finally after 22 minutes and FOUR EMPLOYEES, a person with very good English to me the Leesburg store does NOT HAVE ANY TELEPHONE. An outright LIE. The day before I was in the store in person and YES, there was a telephone, actually saw two telephones, yet the woman insisted that store has no phone... a communication store, that TELLS a customer to call back the next day before driving 22 miles to purchase new phone... and when you call the number, a person with very limited English tells you that store has no phone ! Nice business model right ? Need another example: told THREE different answers by three employees to the same, quite simple, ordinary question. I am sure the review on here that mentioned they were shocked at the cable "installation", heard many stories of how poorly, even dangerously, this is done.... anything to do as many per day as possible I guess, even if someone is hurt ! I went to the office in Leesburg this morning to exchange a modem for neighbor. Of course there was a line there so I had to wait. But I'm older now (72) and i couldn't stand very long. So I sat on the sidewalk. I was about 6th in line. A nice young man came from inside and brought me a chair and moved me closer to the door. all without anyone asking. Made me feel really good. ZERO stars! Zero!!! DO NOT GO INTO THIS STORE! I ordered service on Tuesday, January 8th, 2019. Received equipment on the 10th. Opened box, took out the cable equipment, set it up only to find out that I had NONE of the channels I had requested. Checked for internet equipment but no modem was included. I did call first to let them know about the modem and asked about the channels. The original rep I spoke with had "pressed the wrong button" so I had no cable, said this rep I spoke with. They'd assured me I would get the modem "within 24 hours". Phew, I saved a trip... The following day I did not receive any notification of my equipment being delivered. I called, again, and was told I could pick one up at the store, which closed at 6 so I needed to hurry as it was 5 something. I recently moved so I needed internet as I can't watch TV or listen to music without it. Rushed to the store, as advised by customer service. There were two employees. One employee, the gentleman was finishing up and a woman employee seemed to be in a lengthy conversation with another customer. The guy finished first so he called me over. I handed him the box with the cable equipment and tried to explain the issue since I had canceled the cable right away. I'm upset at this point and tried explaining to him what happened. He didn't let me finish explaining my case so would interrupt me. I asked him to let me finish as his questions would probably be answered but then went on to say I was not letting him finish asking me his questions. Omg! He then said I had TWO modems being delivered and so he couldn't give me a third. WHAT?!?!?! WHO ORDERED TWO MODEMS?!?!?! And why did the rep have me go over, right...I asked and the guy who replied he "wasn't Comcast". I looked at his shirt and said he worked there sooooo, he IS Comcast. Then he said he'd go to the back and get a manager. Wonderful! The customer next to mentioned he was having trouble as well. We engaged in a very short conversation when said guy came back out and said if we continued to speak he'd ask us to leave. He then goes back inside only to come right back out and say the manager had already left. Funny (not) that I don't have service yet but have received SEVERAL emails with their bill! I have no words for this lack of customer service, misleading comments, feel he was being racist as I'm Hispanic but do speak perfect English! Still no service, by the way. Modem will get here on Monday, HOPEFULLY! There are no other internet companies that service my area. So, STUCK! 10/07/2019: still nothing! Comcast is on my crap list for cable and internet at this point. Here's why: We made our install appt the week before we moved into our new home. The appt was for the 31th of March. They issued the need for a road boar to hook up to the drop across the street. That was for the 3rd of april. The outside installer came sat in his truck for an hour and left. Did nothing and didnt inform us on anything just left. Then I had the run around with customer service. Then told me they needed a permit for the road boar. So I waited a few days. They have had the permit to do the road boar since the 10th. some technician supposable came by on the 10th fo fo the road boar. But I never saw anyone do anything. Well in short it's the 16th of april and still no cable or internet. They were suppose to come back out Saturday but never showed and now suppose to be here today but no ones here yet. This is not a direct review of this comcast office but the organization as a whole. We upgraded to the new X1 system and were told that this is a cloud DVR so we never have to worry about losing recordings due to a box failure ever again. One night a few weeks ago we go to bed with shows being recorded and many recordings of several series stored in the DVR. When we get up in the morning all recordings are gone. Needless to say after many telephone calls and a technician visit and none of the recordings were ever recovered. Everyone said that everything was working fine and the best they could do is replace the box and oh by the way you will lose all of your recordings. Apparently they didn't understand the issue we reported This company has gotten too big and runs as a monopoly because they have no local competition. The call center can't resolve the problem without wanting to schedule another appointment on a different day as if we have nothing better to do than sit around waiting for them to get their shit together. Have blast at 75/Mbps Down - 12/Mbps Up. Only runs between 15-40Mbps at 60+m/s ping. Multiple techs come out and just give excuse after excuse so they don't actually have to do anything. First they claim it's signal, even though the signal to noise ratio is 39dB. Then they claim it's because I'm not directly connected, so I ddid a solid line test and no change in speeds. Been going on for over a year and there's no one else in the area that provides internet. Worst comcast area I've ever dealt with. read more

I am appalled by the fact that I have to wait one month and 4 days to get service. I did not choose your company, the building complex where I move is only served by you, it has exclusivity. It is a shame that you have overreach without caring for your customer. If you cannot provide a speedy and adequate service you should not offer the service. I drove all the way to the service center to return equipment. I was told due to it being a business equipment, they don't accept it. I would have to ship it, she gives me a number to call. I call the number to get an address, I am told that I have to call ups and they will bring me a label to ship at no charge. I call UPS and the say it ups to Comcast to give me a tracking number and they will bring me a label. I call Comcast and they say "they don't do that anymore I have to bring it in to the service center... Absolutely no customer service here at all. This is an overall review for Comcast not this service center. This past weekend my Wife and I were walking out of our house to run errands. we saw a Brighthouse cable service truck in front of our house, my Wife turns to me and says, "hey are the neighbors having their cable serviced?" I responded with I guess. I then looked at the side of our house and saw the Brighthouse technician over by our cable. After walking over I asked, "Can I help you?". The technician responded with, "just fixing your internet service". I informed him that we have Comcast cable service and that he immediately fix the cable he cut. It turns out he read the address number wrong. First of all, there was no ring on our doorbell telling us that service was being performed, really Brighthouse this is how you train your service people. We then called our Cable provider Comcast and scheduled a service call to check out if any damage had be done. First thing Monday morning Comcast showed up checked everything over for us. We have never had Brighthouse nor will we ever. I see reviews about Comcast service being terrible, We have NEVER been treated with poor customer service from Comcast. read more

How in life do we get stuck with a monopoly like Comcast? Since 8/6/2017 we have tried to close our account in Pompano Beach. Talk about no service! The worst service I Have ever received over and over again! After hours on hold 3 different times in one day and 4 attempts on previous dates with a service center were no matter who u get no one will help. I requested a supervisors told not available they will call us back. No One ever calls back. Wake up Comcast because your customer service dept is the worst. We have been a customer a long time and we sold our home in Pompano Beach, fl on 8 10/ 2017. They will not disconnect us??? We have returned equipment since August 6 which they received on the August 8th. No they will only give me a disconnect for October 2. 2017. On line no email for customer support insane worthless phone number. Discussed is putting it lightly how they run and have trained there service centers. We have been with Comcast a long time and always problems and now unable to disconnect and my bill keeps going up!! No One returns calls!! How do they constantly get away with this. Last call yesterday I was promised a supervisor would call me back within one hour. Never happened... Also Ryan (employee # OSRWEH) kept ignoring my request and rudely interrupted me offering mea October discount date??? Is it because I am a women no they treated my husband b&b d the same way!! Because they have no competition !! And the kept transferring me to the Retention Dept and none of the prompts worked and t you are disconnected!!! Ever hear this before..." Can you give zero stars? Because that's what they deserve. I called Comcast 1 year ago because of issues I was having. To make a long story short, 3 hrs with a technician later one of my issues, being able to record shows was still not available. Not only that, they replaced by modem which wasn't the problem so I had to have my computer guy come out and reprogram my wireless devices because of the change in the IP address. I called and they sent a refresh signal. Nothing. I went to the local Leesburg FL office and was told their computers were down and they could do nothing. I finally called again. Got a great tech but he only has so much authority. Although he did tell me the reason I could not record shows is the tech that came out did not give me a DVR box. HE TOOK MY DVR BOX AND DIDN'T REPLACE IT WITH ANOTHER ONE. The good tech put me through to Customer Solutions. They refunded me for the service I had been paying for and said for my aggravation (REALLY!) they could give me 6 months of a movie channel free. I said great give me HBO. She said "oh we can't do that you are already paying for HBO." WHY AM I NOT SURPRISED. So I said put me through to a supervisor and immediately got cut off. WHY AM I NOT SURPRISED! This is just the kind of service you can expect from Comcast. They do have any regard for their customers. If there were another cable provider in the area Comcast would not get my business. They should not be in business. But you know what - they don't care about their customers or their reputation. read more

THE WORST, After 15 Hours of phone time and being transferred time after time I go into the NEW STORE in the villages Lady Lake and they tell me I can not deal with them I have to call, I ordered a "Triple Play" and Mobile Phone Service and Paid the $150 taxes due, The tech came to install the home services , NOT WHAT I ORDERED at all, the Mobile Phone came WRONG PHONE and now they have me as having an account and already billing me 1 day after and I have NO PHONE sent that back PER their Fed Ex account, I am now on the phone TRYING to get this straight now for 26 minutes been transferred 3 x and on hold , I am taping this call, I returned the box for my TV as it there were no more channels on it than a regular antenna UNLESS I bought more programming for $58.00 a month, they are now billing me for $208. for service I don't have . The Xfinity Mobile is more of a nightmare than Verizon or my terrible At&t , the store was as bad as the phone, IF POSSIBLE DO NOT USE COMCAST OR XFINITY MOBILE , Unless you have Patience and a lot of extra time to fight for things and a good tape recorder for phone calls because none of the reps on the phone take notes or I guess are required to take notes , they also have to verify you with 3 things any time another person gets on the phone !!!!! I am now up to 32 minutes hold time with the mobile dept as I am doing this review and they can't figure out what is the problem , also trying to understand the foreign language is almost impossible from the reps, I have been lied to by every rep so far , my order went through Koran for the original after 3 hours time and it was still ALL wrong, Finished the call after 1 hour and 27 minutes , they will not refund my money I have to charge as fraud now and they wanted to charge a NEW fee to get the right product out to me all they tried to blame on me for mot resolving , I straight out asked RYAN (Who said he was the highest manager to handle this he doesnt have a higher manager) if the customer was first he stated because of the system he could not change anything so the "system" is more important than taking care of a customer I asked and he said YES !!! BTW this is all on tape as their :"system" says this call is taped so I taped it too and Ryan the "manager" his words said he didn't give personal permission to tape even though I told him as we started I was taping and he said fine, LIES and more LIES from Comcast and XFINITY GOOD LUCK to anyone that is dealing with these people. i wish there was a negative star. mine would be negative 5! i signed up for new cable service about a week ago 11/14 they said they would come 11/17..never seen anybody. called and they said my appointment was cancelled "what"? i never cancelled, said if they schudled an appointment for 11/23 a week later, they could ask for an escalation and someone would call me within 24 hours...you guessed it, no one ever called..called them AGAIN..said no record of that was recorded. i felt like punchin somebody in the face. i wouldnt call them back if they were the last provider in my area... just gonna keep DTV...never had a problem with them. read more
