But then there was some shady stuff going on at the front of the line (I was right at the front), and the bouncer was basically just letting in whoever he wanted, and ignoring the line. Was kind of frustrating, but we waited patiently so we could see what this place was all about. The vibes were cool, and I'd like to go back on a weeknight when it's not so busy. So, I need the service to be a little better for me to increase my rating. And then maybe try some of the bites that they offer during food service times. Idk. Food-wise, the chicken fingers are some of the best I've had. Crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The thin fries are amazing too -- the kind you keep eating long after you're full. The gravy and honey mustard are perfect pairings with the chicken and fries. The BBQ sauce, though, I could personally do without. Overall, a great neighborhood spot with good food, good specials, and a fun atmosphere.

The oysters are always fresh and well shucked, and the smaller bites are just as strong. One of my favorites is the caviar with Ritz crackers, tartar sauce, egg, and chives. It sounds simple but it's done really well. It's definitely on the pricier side, but the quality of both the drinks and food makes it worth it.

The one thing none of our group appreciated was that the front windows were wide open and people smoked outside the entire night. They literally had ashtrays on the windowsill. We all reeked of smoke by the end of the night. Kind of a bummer, and something to consider if you're thinking of going here when it's warm enough to have the windows open.

But if you compare it to restaurants located in downtown, a similar dish is at least 8-10$ cheaper. $14 for a basket of shoes string fries, $41 for roasted chicken and $43 for steak? On par with coors field at least.
