Waygu happy hour burger and fries
    Nivia L.

Stopped by at Annette for Saturday happy hour and it was excellent. Host was friendly and sat use down fairly quickly. We started off with a beer and shot and I had an espresso martini . It was delicious but a tad small why I gave it a slight less rating for the price. With that said the star of the show was combination of the devil eggs ..a must try . Full of flavor and the relish really took it to another level . We choose the Wagyu burger on an English muffin and side of crispy fries . Full of flavor and that English muffin was something else and I was here for it . Give it try the next time you are at the Staley market. Worth a stop !

I have been here twice, its so good. Both times I have had the ever attentive, Rachel. Our table never wanted for water. She was generous with her recommendations and she was ALWAYS right. Both nights I got the pate (but they had different compote mustards; one with apricot and last night with the cherry mostarda---both amazing). Last night we got the mussels in white wine--messy, but delicious with a hint of curry. The mussels were perfectly cooked and plump! Shrimp linguini for both nights because it was that good. A crunch with the fennell and herby dill. Don't be shy to ask more of their delicious sour dough too! We cleaned our pate serving of the bread and asked for more (grilled of course) for the mussels' sauce AND the shrimp linguini. Potato caviar, honestly, I could have just eaten them separate. The potato overpowered the caviar. The steak frites, DO NOT SLEEP ON, the steak was tender and a PERFECT medium rare with smokiness on top. We topped off the night with desserts, the pecan pie and the ice cream sandwich. Annette deserves the HIGHEST compliment an Asian can bestow on a dessert: its deliciously not too sweet. Treat yourself and make a reservation at Annette! Don't forget bevvies too. Their bee's knees---is the bee's knees!

Came here for a date night while visiting Denver. A friend highly recommended this spot and it lived up to her words! We sat up at the bar seating and that was equally cozy and perfect for us. Everything we ordered was so good and would do it exactly the same! The mushroom and fried chickpea dish was my favorite! The server did a great job of timing out our orders throughout the dinner. I can't wait to come back when I'm back in Denver!

Friendly service. Casual, cozy covered patio seating. Flavors were balanced. Nice getaway from hotel restaurants

Update: love this place and have been multiple times now. Staff is consistently great! Came here during happy hour last and food is great as well. Came in for the burger, ordered the pate again (hard not to order), and the pasta dish. Burger was very good, juicy, seasoned well, and did not think the bread would work so well. Pleasant surprise. Pasta dish was really good as well. Loved the sweet and tart flavors. Bottarga added good depth and basil to finish.

Delicious, as always! A nice higher end option in the the Stanley marketplace, with a nice happy hour too! Quality ingredients expertly crafted into delicious fresh cuisine. I hadn't been here in a long time and was glad to see they still have the egg salad toast! I was excited to try some new dishes like the autumn puff pastry and the butter lettuce salad my friend had been raving about. Excellent service and ambience. Such a delight!

A return visit to Annette, where I was lucky enough to listen to and understand, Chef Glover's focus --- Fresh, local ingredients, fire roasted or grilled. Cook things that grow together, like beans, corn and tomatoes. She is a master. The fresh garden salad over a summer tart was a beautiful way to start. The calamari and linguini, divine. The pork chop was a bit underdone imho, but tender, from being marinated for 24 hours. Dessert was stone fruit, fire roasted and then topped with a sherry reduction and a very little amount of sugar. Goal, let the fruit be the star and it was. Everything locally produced. Very good wine list. Service, as always was exceptional. Annette has a cozy feel with the large plants which help dampen the noise from other diners. Overall, a wonderfully prepared. beautifully presented and very satisfyingly delicious meal.

Cute place inside Stanley Markethall. It has a great ambience of a more upscale place if that is what you are looking for.

The food, service and ambiance here never fails! We went to Annette's for an impromptu Thurs night date night where we sat at the bar and enjoyed 2 shareable dishes. Everything is delicious. They have a couple new items on the menu this winter which we decided to give it a try: fading ember: it was a bit on the more bitter side at the start of the drink but mellowed out towards the end. the basil and thai bitters was an interesting take, not exactly sure what they were going for. not bad but also not my favorite drink there espresso martini: need I say more? that's physics, baby: easy to drink collins cocktail. nicely balanced tart and fruity. I think I would've enjoyed this more on a hot summer day meanwhile, back at the ranch: this was probably my 2nd favorite, the mezcal made the drink a little smokey, reminds me of their take of a smoked old fashioned. delicious! as for apps, we got the castelfranco radicchio + boquerones and chicken liver pate. we were unsure if that was enough but it was just the right proportions. the radicchio is their take of cesaer salad which was great! for dessert, we got the the paris-brest which is my favorite there! always a great experience there, speedy, attentive service and the food is consistently amazing!

On a rare outing to the Northeast side of Denver, we decided to eat here for happy hour/dinner. First of all, the service is impeccable. Attentive, but not invasive. Thoughtful but not arrogant. Whoever is training these people is doing it right. Secondly, the food is delicious! We opted to share the burger and fries ($20 on happy hour), deviled eggs ($5 for 2 on HH), the broccolini ($17) and house made pasta. Everything was wonderful! The pasta with mushrooms and lemon was just marvelous- well prepared and perfectly cooked and sang of spring. The broccolini was incredible. I thought an english muffin instead of a bun on the burger was strange, but it totally wasn't. It's made in house and is so delicious. I need to learn how to make english muffins for this very purpose! I felt the fries could have used a bit more salt/seasoning. The eggs were great, but I wouldn't get them again. I paired it all with a fantastic tempranillo on happy hour. My little had the pasta off the kids menu, which she loved, but I found a bit too al dente. She ordered the house made lemonade, which she declared tasty, but it was $5 for basically a shot of lemonade (see picture). She had to have at least two glasses- making it the most I've ever spent on a beverage at a meal for my daughter! All in, this is a wonderful addition to the Stanley.

The skinny: Solid food, good ambiance at Stanley marketplace. The overview: Came here for HH/Dinner for 3 and ordered a few things to share. Overall the food was solid and yummy, but for me fell a little short of an amazing 5 stars. - Devil eggs: a nice little snack but nothing too new or crazy flavor wise. - mussels: these were yummy in a simple yet flavorful light white wine sauce. A large amount of fries with house made ketchup and aioli as well. - asparagus: this missed the mark for me a little. The flavors on top were good, but the asparagus itself felt a little lacking. - Orecchiette: this was the favorite. Fresh pasta with a creamy sauce. Highly recommend. - Burger: solid burger ( but the patty itself was quite small). The bread was very good - but the patty to bread ratio seemed off with the large bun but small patty. Overall the sizing was on the smaller tapas side. We definitely could have ordered a bit more food but decided against it just because there is a lot of other options at the marketplace. Would I come back: If I'm in the area it could be a good stop - the pasta! Service and ambiance was good as well.

A definite "MUST VISIT" if you're in the area... everything from their interesting menu, to the beautiful, open-kitchen venue, to their amazing service was excellent! I dined solo as I was in Denver for work and reading online reviews pointed me to Annette. I opted to sit at the bar and the bartender, as well as various other staff did a great job keeping my needs met and my taste buds happy. If you go on a Tuesday, it's happy hour all night, so they have nice deals that are available throughout dinner service. They have a nice menu, filled with something for everyone and all items are shareable... Most are actually available in half portions too, which was great for me as a solo diner. I started with their deviled egg which was excellent and basic. Nothing fancy or crazy, just a very nicely seasoned yolk (filling) which tasted great. Next up was a half order of their Butter Lettuce and Tarragon salad. What an interesting and fun compliment for them to add a sunflower seed brittle to this salad! It offered a nice texture as well as a sweet bite that complimented the tarragon very nicely. This was such a perfectly dressed and plated salad that! Dinner course consisted of their orecchiette and since it featured Calabrian chilis, I asked for extra of those be included in the preparation. The half order looked small, but I couldn't finish it all. Definitely filling and packed with flavor. A slight bitterness from the lemon preserve and a nice heat from the Calabrian chili. Save room for dessert... They have several that looked amazing! My final course was simply a single profiterole and a scoop of their strawberry lime sorbet (separately, of course!). The profiterole featured a bay leaf ice cream inside it and homemade salted caramel on top. I'm not normally appreciative of caramel, but this was so good, I licked the spoon to get it all! The pastry dough was the best profiterole I've ever had! The combo of everything in a single bite was dreamy! Switching to the sorbet - Really Really Good! (But it's sorbet, what more can I say about it?). Highly recommend stopping in here... Make reservations though, they get busy!

Is the patio too hot on a summer evening?

No...it's covered and breezy. I think it would be perfect.

Do people prefer dining room or covered patio during Jan / Feb months?

    Dining Room

If you make a reservation for "enclosed patio" will you find yourself in yet another run-of-the-mill, crowded enclosed patio or are the awesome cozy greenhouses still up?

The enclosed patio is attached to the restaurant. It is small and cute. A few months ago they still had their igloos up. I am sure you can call and confirm.

    Do we need a reservation?

I'd recommend a reservation! Especially on busy nights (e.g. Fri and Sat). You can also call in to check availability

They offer cocktails and a light food menu + Charcuterie. I was first to arrive, but shortly later another 10 persons arrived in various groups. Plenty of seating on 2 floors. I sat at the 2 sided bar. I asked for recommendations. They have a classic French champagne, Domaine Berthold Cremant d'Alsace, normally $18 for $9. Crisp and refreshing. I got the Hummus and Onion Dill dip plate with crackers & veggies with red peppers, heirloom carrots, radishes and apple slices. I paired it with a Chilean Sauvignon Blanc. Lots of minerality but not as sweet from Sauvignon Blanc's from New Zealand. Next was the Brioche Melt with cappiola, Brie and raspberry habanero jam & Spanish potato chips. Jennie recommended the Barahonda Monastrell from Spain. A fuller bodied red wine with a bit of tannin to compliment the sandwich. They do not have a service charge, but do add a credit card fee. Very enjoyable happy hour. Jennie said reservations are not necessary on Fri or Sat. They have occasional wine events and you can create your own wine flights.

As our walk got longer and extended we found ourselves in this little pocket of business area in the Park Hill neighborhood. Come to think of it, I have utilized a good handful of the restaurants in the last 5 years or so and Neighbors was one of them. I remember one of my friends (out of touch) and I came here for a flight of mezcal or tequila or some sort. The Yelp review I wrote back then dated over 5+ years. It all of a sudden became a moment of "walking back the memory lane". The time was 8:40pm or so. Although the restaurant doesn't close until 10pm, the kitchen was about to close (at 9pm.) Our stomach was still quite full from the dinner; we only needed after dinner drinks. Monday night at 8:45pm, the bar barely had any people in it. Dimly lit, the ambiance was quite exquisite. We noticed all sorts of wine cork art decorations on the walls and even the ceiling The kind waitress of ours allowed me to sample a few different reds (a Cabernet Sauvignon from Lodi and a blend from Washington state.) Although the blend smelled better on the nose, the Cabernet tasted better on the palate. Decision making as to which one came easy: the Cabernet was the winner. I'm not much of a jammy Cabernet person. This Cab from Lodi, no wonder, appealed to me. Very structured, not necessarily velvety either and yet it's got a good character to it. The name of it is Klinker Brick (and the vintage is 2023). As of early June 2026, a glass of this solid Cab is/was $14.25. It became a nice "after dinner" wine to settle into the late night. As I stated earlier, this is a little picket of neighborhood that's mostly consisted of beautiful homes with $900k ranges. Unless you specifically do searches for restaurants in the very area, this will easily escape many people's notice. But that's the charm of it. Being away from the so-called "hip town vibes", I like this little quiet spot. And this wine bar's existence in it perfectly fits the description.

We also ordered the Mini Chile Rellenos, and both dishes were excellent. The Best of Plate let us sample birria, crispy carnitas, a chicken enchilada, rice, and beans, and every bite had its own personality. The birria was rich and deeply flavorful, the carnitas had that perfect balance of crispy and tender, and the enchilada with its green sauce was comforting without being overwhelming. The Mini Chile Rellenos were another highlight--crispy on the outside, creamy inside, with just the right amount of roasted chile flavor. One thing that really impressed me was the presentation. When our food arrived, it looked fantastic. Everything was thoughtfully plated and neatly arranged--it wasn't just piled onto a plate. You could immediately tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve, and the presentation matched the quality of the food. What I appreciated most was that this wasn't just a meal--it was an experience. We found ourselves slowing down and enjoying each bite instead of rushing through it. Every component had its own flavor while still working together as one meal. The portions were incredibly generous. We still had enough left over that we're finishing it today, and honestly, I was completely full last night. It was an excellent value for the amount and quality of food we received. One thing I realized is that this is the kind of restaurant you don't immediately rush back to--not because it isn't amazing, but because you want to remember the experience and look forward to the next visit. Some meals are so satisfying that they deserve to stay special for a while, and this was one of them. We'll definitely be back. Lady Nomada has earned a spot on our list of favorite restaurants.
