I initially found them after posting an alterations project on Yelp, and Jimmy C responded super quickly with helpful info about when their alterations expert would be available. He also provided pricing upfront, which I found very reasonable. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly smiles! Since moving here this past September, I've been searching for a reliable dry cleaning and alterations spot -- and I think I may have found it. Morgan took care of my dry cleaning ($6 per garment prepaid -- love that!), and Michael helped me with my alterations. He was incredibly helpful in walking me through what was needed, what could realistically be done, and even left the pins in a few garments so I could go home, think it over, and move around in them before giving the green light. I really appreciated that thoughtful approach since I'm still on the fence about altering a couple items I didn't spend much on to begin with. Turnaround times are also great -- dry cleaning by tomorrow and alterations by next week. I'll post updates once I pick everything up! So far so good!!! read more

Nice folks. Great dry cleaning. Terrible tailor. I have had them do small repairs before. Generally, the work has been acceptable for price and quality. This time? Not so much. $50 to run seams around 4 pockets on a pair of lwt ski pants. Skill level required maybe a 2. Quality of the work? Barely a 1. Who ever did the sewing was incapable of running a straight stitch. For $50 and what was very likely 15 minutes on a sewing machine I expected better. A lot better. What I got was a high school home-ed class quality. Really disappointing on a pair of $350 ski pants. Of course I'll have to now have to find someone with the skills to do it right or simply do it myself. Ya, it is that bad. And they didn't bother to actually clean the pants as I asked. read more

Poor laundry service, Poor customer service, and Lies. I won't be going here anymore... I used to bring them my button down work shirts, $100+ Ralph Lauren polo shirts. They charge you in advance to get Fukked. I pay for laundered, pressed, No Starch and No Dry Cleaning! I got starched shirts back and they circled "light starch" on the ticket after the fact, my copy read "No Starch", Total dishonesty. I wanted them redone. I got attitude from the Hispanic girl. Picked them up today; I got back crispy shirts that the Owner, Jimmy Chianis, "Dry Cleaned" himself. The same girl said he tried to call me, but he did not call me, that was a lie. Cleaners get so many items that they often make mistakes. Don't be dishonest and lie about it. Admit your mistakes and correct them right away or lose customers. read more

Excellent cleaning service at a great price! We were passing thru Boise and needed to get some cleaning done. I took in 4 suits that hadn't been properly cleaned in some time(we live in a rural part of Idaho) They cleaned these suits up and got them looking like new again! It was better than I thought they ever could! My only complaint now is that I won't be able to use them all the time. But, from now on our Boise trips will definitely include taking some dry cleaning to On the Spot! read more

Absolutely amazing, timely service. The only thing I can doing them on is that they charge to fold your sweater. If you decline that service, they stick it on a wire hanger....huge no-no with me. I was very happy with them until the last time the hung my expensive sweater on a hanger and stretched it out of shape.

We came in a week early with an important dress and we're told we would be called when it was ready. They made a note on our tag to call us and highlighted it because we made a point that this was an important event. We were promised it would be done by Saturday at the latest. No call and a missed photoshoot later and we couldn't even get a reason why. We tried calling multiple times on the day we were supposed to pick it up and no answer. We called multiple times and were even given the owners number and went to a full voicemail every time. The dress came out just fine but too late. We will never return to this cleaners and would recommend anyone looking for a good dry cleaners to keep looking. Do not use this place. read more

Used this place for the first time and was unimpressed by the female at the front counter. She had dirty blond hair and thick glasses. I had never been there but walked in and the only thing she said to me was "sort your clothes over there" pointing to the counter. Sort my clothes? What? How do I sort them? By male or females clothes? Color? Pants or shirts? No instruction given so I asked her how do I sort them, I have never been here and not sure what you are asking me to do. She looked totally disgusted with me and came over and said sort by shirts and pants. Done. Then she came over to take my clothes and rang up my order. The order was much more than the listed price. When I asked for an accounting she said this was to dry clean all my clothes. I said they don't need dry cleaning, just laundry. She hastily scratched out the paper she was writing on and re wrote for laundry. Why just assume I am going to pay extra to dry clean cotton shirts. On the Spot Cleaners got the job done correctly and timely. Went in to have five suits pressed and cleaned on a Friday early afternoon. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and smiling. They said everything would be done no later than 5 the next day. I said I have plans at 5 and asked if they're usually done earlier. They said yes usually and to just call ahead. Called the next day at 2 and they were done. Picked them up. Paid normal to MAYBE SLIGHTLY UNDER normal prices. Suits were clean and pressed nicely. Transaction complete. Hooray!
