Awesome experience . I went in on Sunday with a lot of aches and pains and nerves because I had never got a massage before. There were eight bed/tables and two other people were getting their feet done. They had cloths on thank god. spa advertisements on tv always shows people laying on the table with nothing on but a towel and a few rocks on their back. What a relief. I had Jason. He went straight to work. It was head to toe even my ears. I am so going back and I recommend it to anyone. They only have 2 options of massages here - $25/hour or $40 for 1.5 hours. They call it a "foot" massage - but it ends up being whole body - clothed, in a lazy-boy. The massages are very intense - I was sore the next couple of days but it was VERY relaxing. I fell asleep once during the massage and immediately once we got back to our hotel. Although language can be a problem, the massages are fantastic. Get the $29 Foot Reflexology massage - even though the name suggests otherwise, it's a full body massage. I walked in congested and sniffling, and walked out feeling much better. Typically, it's heavy pressure and that works perfectly for me. If you are sensitive, you can ask them to ease up. Happened upon this place after not being able to get an appointment elsewhere. Prices are higher than other places. I brought myself and two children in for massages. My massage was great. The two men working on my children spent some time talking throughout the massage which was incredibly annoying. The outside noise from the window being open was manageable but the 3 customers who walked in arguing loudly was annoying too. The man I watched massaging another client who kept picking his noise made me want to get up and leave. At the end of the hour and paying for the services, I was encouraged to tip more than I offered which I kindly declined. read more

For $25 an hour, this was a great foot and body massage. You are fully clothed, in a very comfortable lounge chair/massage table. They start with a for bath, and then massaging your temples and neck. They work for awhile on the pressure points in your feet. After awhile you will lay on your back and they will give you a general, all over back massage with a towel over your clothing. Wear something loose and comfortable such as work out clothes if possible, although you can have it even with jeans on. Everything was positive, the only negative comments I have, and I hope the owner or management reads this, is that it smells stale, like dirty socks when you walk in. They need to have an essential oil diffuser going, with lemon grass and lavender oil. Everything looks clean, it is just the smell that I didn't like. Also, they need to turn up the spa music, as I could barely hear it and heard the clothes dryer going. All in all, well worth the price. They prefer cash, and will charge a $2 fee for using credit or debit. I gave a $10 tip. read more

Woohoo! As good as it gets!...this is an understatement. Skilled, clean, dark, quiet, and what a surprise...not just my feet. Not your CA cuisine type spa. More like the best of those old German, old Budapest, task oriented, simple, for the people, health halls that get down to the nitty gritty of making those aches go away and get you back to the work of life only with your wind and your strength back in alignment. I bought a 10 pack as I paid for my first massage and got the 11th free. I plan on 30 days, 30 massages. Then it's regular weekly maintenance. I am on my 5th today and can feel my tired old hips and ribs opening up and my frozen shoulder loosening. I feel taller, calmer, better rested, and more positive than I have in a long time. Who knew? Finally, a body tune-up I can afford AND DO while I am still working. The fact they stay open until 10 pm seven days a week, is a REAL plus. Definitely well worth the money. For $25 + tip you get a foot bath and a full head, neck, back, arm, leg, and foot massage. I admit I really don't know very much about reflexology and have never been to a place like this before. I was actually a little worried because my feet are so ticklish but they are pros and they didn't make me squeam hardly ever. I felt 100% better coming out of the place and I think I stand a little straighter now too. The only thing I'd say to warn people about is that if you are the type who doesn't like deep tissue massages then this isn't the kind of massage for you. I would highly recommend them. read more

I could give this place 0 stars if I had the option. I had a massage with my friends and at the end of the massage I paid for myself and my friend as well. I tipped the person who gave me a massage with cash, but I didn't have enough ones so I tipped the other bill on my card. I explained to them that they had the tip on the card and the other tip on the card. Apparently they didn't get they and they started to yell at me and demand a tip. I was so confused, and I asked what the issue was. After that a man threw the tip money I gave at my face. Then they physically pushed us out of the store, because they thought I didn't tip. Stumbled across this place on Yelp and decided to try it on a weekend getaway with a friend. My friend and I couldn't believe the $25 for an hour massage could possibly be in a legitimate place. We decided to "stake out" the place on a Sunday evening. We were a little put off by the dimly lit street and the dark window coverings but decided to go inside for a look around. Once inside we were greeted by several people who seemed aanxious to get us to sit down for a massage. After checking out the massage area which consisted of about eight lazy boy looking recliner chairs, we told the lady at the front that we would come back. We walked around the shops on the nearby streets while deciding if we'd go back for a massage. That $25 price kept calling our names but those Archie Bunker looking recliners were throwing us off. We were at a loss trying to figure out how we'd get a successful, fully clothed massage, in a recliner. After doing one last search of online reviews of the place we decided to give it a try. We were shown to lockers where we could lock up our purses and we were then shown to our recliners. There was soft music playing and some sort of hanging picture with a relaxing theme. I was happy to see that the bucket for soaking my feet was being lined with a new plastic bag. So thumbs up for cleanliness. The hot water felt great on my tired feet. My chair was fully reclined to allow me to rest on my back. The massuese immediately went to work massaging my head, face and neck. I was instantly in a relaxed state. He worked my hands, arms, legs, and then had me turn onto my stomach so he could do my back. He worked my muscles in a way that no one ever has. The pressure was intense at moments but that's what I needed. If I wanted a frou frou massage I would've gone elsewhere and spent over $100 for an hour of light touching and aromatherapy. This massage worked every tense muscle in my body and once done I felt like I was in pardise. My friend had some issues with her massuese who we have nicknamed "the freak". He was a little too touchy around her butt area and stretched her legs up, down, and around as if they were pretzels. We jokingly say that the things he did to her are illegal in fifteen other states. Did she enjoy it though...YES! I have been going to fancy spas for massages for years but I will definitely only go to this place whenever I am in the area. It's a not a fancy place but the work is spectacular. read more

Love the hours, Love the Price, Love the Service! They are open until 10 PM so you can shower, go there before bed and then get the BEST coziest night of sleep ever. I am trained in Chinese Medicine so I can appreciate when they are rubbing certain main acupuncture points and it really helps release excess energy in meridians which are too full. They are not afraid to go deep and really work things out, which as a professional massues I can say is rare. With traditional massage you usually only get a few spots that are worked on and you know you are not getting the best out of your masseuse and most of the time you feel ripped off because you paid a lot of money to get something that doesn't last. These massages last! You walk out a totally different person. Most of the workers there are very respectful and kind. Most of them dont speak English but there is always someone there who does and you can ask to speak to someone there like that who can translate your special needs like a "no touch" area from injury or something like that, or if you want them to be "soft" etc., The owner Lily is a doll!! I have stayed after many times talking with her quietly in the front and she is just so engaging and fun. I really love being welcomed by her when she is there. You can call ahead and request your favorite masseuse with an appointment or just walk in and get who is on staff. There are several people there I really like. I write their names on their business card and keep it in my wallet for personal requests. They give you your 10th hour massage free! I always tip big because they actually WORK for it unlike many American Masseuses who just rub oil on your skin and run an elbow down your back and charge $75 +...really? I am so over those massages. I love that they scrub off the oil they put on your legs and feet so you dont walk out all oily...ick. The foot rub is OFF the hook. The do DETAILED work on each toe and every part. It is way better than the professional American Reflexology session I had with an experienced local practitioner. The foot massage alone is very healthy for you, opening all of your channels and allowing Qi to flow in from the earth and out the way it is supposed to. I was so confident that I took my Tibetan Lama there. I didn't know what he would think and I was a little nervous because you want everything to go perfectly. He loved it and came back later. I was thrilled. They found out afterwards he was a lama (his top was a polo type with the bottom robes) and several of them gathered around him and were giving him respect. For $25 (plus a $10 tip) I just had my entire body kneaded, massaged, stretched and melted in to a pile of half-asleep, beyond-relaxed, possibly-drooling pile of putty for 60 minutes (!!!). This included a 30 minute foot massage. I mean, come on - it literally doesn't get any better than that. However, during my most recent massage, the men working there were chatting, loudly, quite a bit to each other. It was very distracting from what should be a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. And then, my guy's cell phone rang, and he proceeded to answer it .... twice! ... and have about a minute phone conversation each time and walked away from my massage. Ummmm, I found this to be very rude! While the massage was great, I couldn't get over the fact that I had to listen to their conversations for about half of my massage. I went to pay and decided I wasn't going to leave a tip .... Then the guy asks me "No tip?" which I found to be so awkward and rude as well. We have always been happy with our experience, today we discovered the Pacific Grove location (near Lucky's). We both requested the deep tissue 60 minute table massagee. What a deal - for $25 you get 1 hr of a full body massage with clothes on. I have tried 3 of the masseuses there, one woman and 2 men. All give awesome, deep tissue massages. The woman is more gentle and gives the best facial pressure point massage ever. Why not 5 stars - you sit in a huge room and it does not give you much privacy. Also, it's hard to communicate, since they all speak very little English. BTW, check out Craigslist - I got my massage for $20 by buying a gift certificate there.
