One staff with no manners was so rude to me because I asked about my bill which included the bill for my 2 daughters. All the staff could hear what happened and nothing was said or done. There was no office manager available and the dentist could not address her or the situation. This makes me wonder whether they have any customer service at all. It's been 3 months to get a full set of dentures. Twice in one day I was asked to come back for a denture wax fitting, the first one wasn't good enough. After 2 weeks my lower denture came back from the lab, then I had to wait 2 more weeks for an appointment to see how they fit. They didn't so another two to four weeks to try again. Going on 4 months to get a new set of dentures. Ridicules. read more

I was hassled for my insurance information which I had an issue pulling up on my phone and I was not treated at all. I would've payed out of pocket if need be but I wasn't given any option. Highly recommend Comfort Dental Garland. the staff and Doctors are professional and takes into consideration of there patients fears and insecurities. My toddlers all come here and not a day does my 4 years say "Mommy I want to go back to the dentist." Like it's a field trip. The bilingual staffs help tremendously. My fiancé does not speak Spanish so that was convenient for me not to be the interpreter. Overall pricing is reasonable compare to other locations. Appointment scheduling by far I have to say is the best from all the locations I've gone to. With the early 7:30am to late 6:30pm, your able to drop the kiddos to school and or make an appointment after work. We've had a couple of incidents where our appointment times were carried over but like any healthcare office that will happen. My kiddos medical office we are there for 3-4 hours and as many know Parkland that's a 6-7 hour work shift of just persistent waiting. Comfort Dental takes into that consideration of getting the patients in and out as soon as possible. I love this office and have recommended to many of my friends and family! Veterans be warned! I am a 100% disabled vet and was approved by the VA to get my teeth pulled and new dentures . So they send me here . I go in get all my teeth pulled get my dentures but the dentist did not complete the job having bone shards that were not filed down properly . So I go to get this problem fixed, after months of reporting the problem to the dentist, only to be told that they need to resubmit back to the VA to get an approval . Of course I said approval on what you already got approved to do the job and the job was not completed so I don't understand . After I heated exchange I was told never to come back . So now I have bone spurs sticking out and I cannot wear my bottom Dentures without pain. read more

My daughter got her braces today. We typically go to the Rockwall office but this office is the one that offers orthodontist services. Dr. Cook runs a clean, inviting and professional practice. They explained the services in detail and answer our multiple questions in a friendly manner. Everyone seems to enjoy working and collaborating here to the point that we patients feel the positive and welcoming office culture as you walk in. I have been coming to Comfort Dental since I was a child. They are filled with the nicest and most comforting staff. I wad always scared to go to the dentist as a child but they always found a way to make me feel comfortable with cracking jokes to help me loosen up. Now as an adult I can say they have not changed. I am currently going through Invisalign through another party and Comfort Dental has been very accommodating and helpful through the whole process. The scheduling process was even better. They made sure to ask what days and times work best for you and ensure you have an appointment that best suits you. They are also very good as ensuring that you are aware of your appointment day and time with multiple text messages with one sully confirming that you are attending. Was taken into a chair 10 minutes after my appointment time. Xrays were taken right away. Then I waited 45 minutes fir the dental technician to clean my teeth. She was clearly in a rush because she did the tartar removal in under 10 minutes. The assistant who had taken my xrays cleaned my teeth. She was excellent and had a gental touch. Dentist was thorough and nice. I would prefer never to have my teeth cleaned by the technician again. The desk staff were all welcoming and nice. This is a good office, and was my first not so great experience with timing and the one technician. read more

I am new to this office but I'm willing to try it out. I hope my experiences improve. But I guess we will see. I've been here for 30 min dealing with the payment office. I'm Very upset with your corporate payment policies. I am trying this "gold plan" but really upset that I had to pay for filling work before going back for my fillings. I transferred funds into my HSA account to cover it but then found out from my bank that I cant use those funds until the next business day. So then this office has a "corporate rule" no payment no service but I've already now transferred funds into an account that I cannot use until tomorrow sooooooo now if I want my teeth fixed I have to use ANOTHER credit card. I don't like being treated like a number and that is how they treat patients here. The lady helping me went to ask the doctor if they could make an exception since the money is going to be there in one business day and they could run the card then but he refused. Positive note: I will say that the female staff here that work the desks are very professional and very nice. I really wanted to like this place initially when I came in for my x-rays and the first consultation -I really like the doctor. But then when it comes to payment they don't trust you. Even with having my credit card on file and that I'm signing up for their gold plan. You are still not trusted. Doesn't leave me with a good vibe... corporate dental experience .... Just my opinion.... Well I stayed to have two fillings replaced by Mr. Curtis. It was a grueling hour and a half and he was nice enough but he cut my lip by accident and I have way more sensitivity to the teeth then I should have. So I went in today and saw Dr. Christensen and he was very professional and listen to my concerns and fit me in an hour later to redo some of the fillings. I'll have to wait and see and I'll keep you posted but I definitely would recommend that if you do go there go see Dr. Christensen. I hope I haven't ruined my teeth by going here. Time will tell and I'll update my review as my teeth heal from these procedures. After the first procedure with Mr. Curtis he did end up refunding me for the gold plan and I think he did the best he could. 9/9/17 I think they have ruined my teeth and I'm having pain and sensitivity to the sides of my teeth when I floss that I NEVER had before! Going somewhere else. This is awful!! Do not let them drill your teeth! 3/25/19 Yep Dr. Musso confirmed today I have decay under the "fillings" I got here. He saw it In the xrays. They ruined my teeth and will need a crown to save my tooth! There are more teeth effected but this tooth was one Comfort Dental drilled the heck out of it and now the filling was cracked and shows decay behind it. Dentist was great extremely patient and nice. He explained the procedure really well and was very helpful in giving me a break down of future procedures that I needed. This was my first time getting a tooth extracted. The 4 stars are because the receptionist was not friendly nor helpful I needed a note for work and she provided me a small paper that just says i was seen but doesn't say my procedure after telling her what i needed that was all she can do and i find that hard to believe. read more

Dr. Christensen and his staff are some of the most detail oriented, and professional staff I have ever come across. The moment we walk in, it is big grins and pleasant attitudes. I took my two kids in hopes of finding a new dentist and i found the best! They explain things to myself and my kids, joke around, and do impeccable work. They have resolved my daughters not so great work that a former dentist did and spent a solid hour on each of my kids cleanings. I could not be any happier, than if it were free. Lol. read more

When I called to make an the appointment for my son, the girl that answered didn't even ask me any information. I had to ask her if she needed my sons name. When I went in to the appointment my son was called in by himself for xrays and like 30 minutes later a girl called me in. Just tell me the work he needed in his teeth and how much it would be. I really thought I was going in to get a check up and cleaning for my son and they only cared if I was going to pay for the all the work he needed. I asked if he could just get a cleaning and they said no one was a available to do it. That was so crazy to me! I said I would pay out of pocket but she said no. Then she didnt even know that my son was left alone at the chair. I had to ask her where he was because he never came out. this is the worst experience ever. I am that person that has feared the dentist since I was a little girl. Just bad experiences, feeling procedures, dentist that seem to not care, broken jaw surgery and so on. So I avoided the dentist. One night after brushing my teeth I started to get an extreme aching pain in my upper right tooth. Didn't sleep all night. Cried my eyes out. Came across comfort dental because it was the only dentist open at 7 AM. I didn't know that I would actually have a very good experience here. Dr. Lackey sat with me. Listened to my insecurities. Apologized for previous traumas and worked with me. He knew I was on edge and he stood calm and collective and kept giving me reassurance. I needed a root canal. My anxiety was through the roof but Dr. Lackey was awesome! He assured me that I wouldnt feel a thing and I DIDNT! His assistant was super awesome, kind and friendly! She did great work. Also I don't have insurance. They have a membership you can join for discount prices. I was able to pay with my care credit. All in all, I feel so much better. I'm happy with my root canal. Feels good to eat with no pain. I actually look forward to coming back here for the rest of my dental needs. I have already recommended Dr. Lackey to my sisters and fiancé! read more

The dentist was nice *and* very professional, quickly saw the issue was an abscess and prescribed an antibiotic and pain med.
