Luckily, the ten year warranty covered the parts so the issue is now resolved before we even knew it existed. But now I am having issue with a unit he installed and i cannot get a simple reply to a text regarding warranty. I have no idea what happened to this guy. I wasn't looking for a large HVAC company as I know those places tend to charge more and I also wanted to give a small business in the area the opportunity. I called in the middle of the afternoon and explained my situation, and within 1 hour Ken was at my house. His daughter was the call taker and she was very polite and professional and passed along to Ken that she felt my situation was urgent, which I appreciated. Ken assessed my situation and determined my furnace (20+ years old and on borrowed time) needed to be replaced and was dangerous to continue to use. He was nothing but nice and professional the entire time but stressed the issue of replacing sooner than later. He recommended I not use the furnace. After being at my home for approximately 1 hour, he was very kind and didn't charge me for the service call but instead deemed the visit a "quote". Now that is something you would never get from a "Big Box" company. The next day he emailed me a quote for a new HVAC system as my A/C was on borrowed time as well. He said he could even do the install with in 5 days (WOW). His quote was very fair and reasonable, however I didn't use his company but this was no fault of his. I believe they do have a 24 hour call service. For whatever reason I wasn't able to get through but did leave a message explaining the issue and a callback number. They were able to call me back at 7:30am the next morning. We were able to schedule a tech visit for between 9am-noon. He was able to arrive shortly after 9. The tech was very friendly and was able to diagnose and fix the problem very quickly. He was very knowledgeable and gave me tips to prolong the life of the AC unit. Would use Allied Air again. Quick, quality service and price was reasonable.

After removing our kitchen tiles, cabinets, countertops we were in a bind trying to figure out how to get our pipe moved as there was a truss below the floor blocking our path, but they came with a plan and quickly to help us move the pipe without cutting the truss and without breaking the bank.
