The time slot was from 12 to 2. Shows up at 230 after hmu at 130 saying they 20 minutes away. Gets there instantly starts dropping things and breaking boxes. Loads and uploads bumping my stuff up everywhere that so many of my things have chips and drag marks on them now. Asked for assistance with my tv because its a 55 and hard for me to carry alone, before they left because there was still 15 minutes left. Homeboy flips my tv over w. The top on the ground and dragged my tv, mind you the top of it has a sensor, starts screwing in the legs and other homeboy told him to stop because "time", so both my tvs get left on the floor upside down. Then tries to charge me an extra 110 dollars out of nowhere for "wrapping and materials" brings it down to 55 when I say but no one told me about that but still charged me 60 instead! After I'm about to leave to go get more stuff on my own when homie coming back up w. A bookshelf they forgot in the truck. Now to top it off im finally unpacking everything (yes a week later I got extremely sick the next day, fever all that) and now im noticing all the bumps, scratches and such plussss nownim realizing there is a bag missing that had all my electronics in it. THEY STEAL!! Everything went well until it didn't. When it was time to pay they tried to charge me more than it was supposed to be. I am pregnant so I cannot lift heavy things. My bin, clearly labeled upstairs office, was hidden in the corner of the garage under a bunch of other bins. When I finally could locate the bin I opened it to find that all of my Cricut equipment ($500) was missing. I know it was in there because they left a base of one. When I reached out about it I got no response. I have now filed a police report and will have to take legal action. Too many issues with this company. They messed up on the quote and night before the scheduled move. I woke up to text messsges that were sent at 3 am in the morning. I reported to the lead mover, Quinelle, about the bedframe not being put back together and the other mover damaged a shower seat. Additionally, a TV got damaged too and the screen is messed up. Q gave a false guarantee that I would get a refund yet I did not get a partial refund that I requested. I have all proof in text messages. If I could give no stars I would. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!!!!! They act all friendly and nice, referring to Quinelle Crump, and he says he has been in the moving business for over 20 years but he damaged my wood laminate floors moving a chest of drawers. He tried to say it was the chest that had metal on the bottom. Well, if you are an "experienced" mover you know how to move a big chest of drawers without scratching up the wood laminate floors. And not in one spot, several areas were scratched up very badly as the pictures show. Quinelle repeatedly said he would repair the damage but has he? He is a liar and a fraud, claims insurance would take care of it but since January he has been avoiding my calls. He ignores my calls now and when I call from different numbers he will answer. And I have an item that is gone since the day of the move where Quinelle was in the room with this item and now it's gone ? Ironically in reading all these other bad reviews I see lots of people have had items stolen after this company moved their belongings. It's ok though, he wants to play games we can play games. I have a really good friend who is a civil law attorney and I won't have to spend a dime to go to court. Quinelle you should have fixed my floors because this is gong to be way more costly for you than if you had just repaired the damage YOU CAUSED to my floors. I will be making police reports for the damage and the theft of property. AGAIN, DON'T USE COMFORT MOVING AND STORAGE!! They will damage your property and not repair it, then they will ghost you. I feel I should share this story as it cost Us damaged furniture (which was brand new) and hopefully it helps some prevent dealing with such a terrible service. Comfort Moving & Storage here in SA was hired to help us move. During this process, they damaged brand-new furniture delivered to new home hours before they carried in furniture previous furniture from other house. They apologize and gureeted their HR department and insurance company would be in contact to repair or replace. That never happened. They ignore Our calls and I have noticed they have blocked their Social Media platform to prevent tagging them to share the stories of their poor service and I don't believe they are even insured as no one ever contacted us back to discuss how they would handle the damaged property. Please share and assure you or Your clients do not pay for a services that will leave you with damaged furniture and they don't have solutions to repair or replace what they damage. I had a terrible experience with this company. I will say their loading and unloading of my household goods was fast. However, they were 2 hours late past the window timeframe they provided me. They did not fully assemble my treadmill. I found two screws belonging to it on my window counter. They damage my big screen tv (it fell over) and it's been over a month on getting my replacement or getting a status update. They have ignored my last message requesting a status which has forced me to file a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and seeking legal action. Serving in the military for over 25 years, customer service, integrity and values are important to me so dismissing and ignoring my issue is extremely disappointing and unsatisfactory. I really didn't want to be the person to do this because the guys are nice but it's more about professionalism and communication from a consumer stand point. I first contacted them for services on Thursday 01/14/21 and we scheduled for moving on Sunday 01/17/21 from 12pm-2pm I contacted them again Sunday morning around 11am to confirm and was told I'd get an eta in a few minutes. I had to them again a little after 12 because I still had not heard back. I got a response saying there was mechanical issues with the truck and new ETA was 2:30 PM. That was fine with me and not a problem. I had to call them again at almost 3 PM because still no one contacted me then I was told that they had to push my services to the following day and that they would offer a 10% discount. The day comes, the guys are nice and quick. All They moved was my washer & dryer. They even hooked it up and said it was ready to use. I pay. (Didn't get my 10% discount like discussed). I used my washer and it flood my whole apartment. They didn't connect the drainage hose. I sent pictures and videos to the owner and not a single response. Not an apology or anything of the sort. I'm highly disappointed and won't be using their services ever again. And I'd advise everyone else to do the same. read more

Q and the crew! These guys were very hard working individuals with positive attitudes.

I scheduled the movers for 3 hours with the expectation of adding an hour or two on top if needed. We were scheduled for a 12-2pm slot. They did not call or show up so I called at 2:15pm for an update. I was told they meant to call me but first job ran over and they will be here in an hour. They didn't arrive until 4:45pm by that time the two guys were already exhausted from a full day somewhere else. They came in a rented U-Haul not their own truck, I hired movers with the expectation they would move the heavier bulkier stuff, I have hired movers in the past and they load boxes in overhead than furniture with boxes on and in between. However these guys just loaded boxes until they were reminded we needed our furniture. I got a truck load of boxes no beds, TV's or hardware for the things they took apart. They did not utilize the space in the truck and appeared half hazard. At the 3 hour mark he informed me he needed an additional 3 hours and another trip charge. I reminded him how late he was it would have been better for him to cancel than to charge me twice as much time for the job. We agreed on the 6 hour price he acted like he was doing me a favor. They called in a 3rd guy for the unloading which he told me he was doing earlier when he was late. However when I capped him at 6 hours he said he was adding the 3rd guy for free. It was for them to get done not my request which he had planned before he arrived not as a discount for all the trouble. They took my dining room table apart, the legs off the sofa etc. all which are now lost in the move. My door was left without hardware because they dropped it and couldn't find it. They left 3 pieces of furniture outside when they left. They literally walked right past it and just left it there. I have no chairs to my table that has no legs. My sofa was left on its side standing straight up, I am appalled at the level of service and lack of professionalism. He was a nice guy but the nice guy didn't get the job done. Waste of a full day and money to not have the movers bring me my furniture. Hire them if you only want the easy stuff done as slow and late as possible for an inflated cost. Never again!!! read more

A complete rip off-Under estimated the size of the move and truck size required so badly that I had to rent another moving truck and additional driver. This boosted the cost nearly 40% over the other competitive bids. Truck rental agency contacted me after the vehicle was turned in to tell me that marijuana (cigarette remnants) were found in the cab. Numerous items were missing post move. First, the good: Q and Wesley were kind and professional. They moved my stuff with care. HOWEVER, a vase was broken. After my move was over, I called the office, send text messages and messaged through Messenger and got no response from anyone to help with replacing my vase that was broken. Super disappointed and angry that they were so quick to charge me an extra hour when I only went over 25 minutes but didn't have the courtesy to call me and at least apologize. They are supposedly insured.I don't know why they wouldn't just take care of the problem! I do not recommend this moving company because there is no follow through! read more

I was really excited when I booked this company to help us move into our newly built home. But things got off on the wrong foot from the get go. They were supposed to arrive at 8:30am so I gave them a few minutes in case of traffic or what not until I texted. I texted around 8:40 didn't get a response until after 8:50 that they were running about 15 minutes late. They arrived around 9:15am and got to work. I felt they were doing a decent job getting the stuff moved out and the two movers were pleasant to talk to but the problems then continued at our new house. First the fridge didn't fit through the front door but they kept trying to get it in all while damaging door jambs all around. They were working at a much slower pace and taking their time unloading, I guess they do this to add up more time. While taking furniture up the stairs they damaged numerous walls and broke part of the railing. After they finished they said don't worry about the scuffs they come right off. I was like okay maybe they're right. We then get to check out and they mover gives me the breakdown. 5 1/2 hours plus trip charge, all different from what Q quoted. Q quoted about 3 hours , 4 hours max and only a 45 dollar trip charge. Then Q doesn't answer for about 30 minutes until they finally get through to a Patricia and gets him on the phone. We check out and my wife is livid due to all the damage they caused in our new house that doesn't just wipe off and discovering that they broke part of her wine cooler and they just hid the evidence inside of it. I contacted Q because my couldn't let it go, but Q never replied to rectify the situation or at least to apologize. Stay away from this company. read more

In response to the companies response: First off, I called several moving companies a few days in advance to inquire about pricing and availability. If this was to short notice then that should have be stated. Secondly, the point of this long review was to address the fact of moving a small amount of furniture that should have only taken a small amount of tome, however it was the complete opposite. My husband has to LITERALLY assist with moving items to speed up the process since the movers seemed to be moving slow. I do not expect someone to be super speedy about I also do not respect it when movers are taking phone breaks and etc when I pay for 2 full hours. Thirdly, NO TOOLS were brought by your company besides a dolly that was rented from Uhaul. So if not for us providing straps to secure our stuff then damages could have happened. The great customer service was in response to the 2 gentleman's personality's and interactions, however the lack of speed, tools and professionalism is the issue. The response to my review from the "business owner" Patricia is complete lies and they don't even make sense. For one, you can clearly see on this Yelp page that they listed the business owner as Quintelle. Secondly, I never even spoke to Q the day my move was scheduled for because as is clearly shown in my timestamped screenshots, he never called me but only sent me a vague text one time. I was the only one who called and the calls were never answered as shown. This imaginary conversation Patricia is talking about where I "became aggressive" which caused them to "refuse service" is a complete fabrication. As the text messages show, it is clear that I remained calm and respectful even when I had not heard a peep from Q hours after my move was supposed to have started.
