Let me tell you that searching for the right moving company is like the Amazon jungle! There are so many companies out there, and they're all practically all 5 star. Man! What can be your criteria!??? Well, it was a close one for me. In the beginning I just went ahead and booked the company at the top of the search. Yes, very polite, but I was about to go into a trap without knowing it, let me explain later.... My gut instincts though told me to keep searching. I then read the reviews arduously, decided to give the underdogs at the end of the list the first look. 1. When I came upon On the Mark, he didn't even answer! But, that could be a good thing that they don't have overhead, that the owner is out there working and not behind a desk. 2. He was so accommodating: he already had 2 moves that day!!! Instead of being cut and dry, he interviewed me instead to find out if they can make it happen; they did! 3. Now, this will sound strange, but he used a vocabulary word that only people who read books used. He used it non pretentiously, naturally with a correct application. He wasn't educated with higher learning, so, I guess I was intrigued as to what type of books there were. That will be for later. Now, I save the later and best and last. The "trap" that I was about to fall into was the other company was only going to send 2 guys and one truck first thing in the morning. On the Mark had 5 guys and 2 trucks; yes, even the owner was there working! These guys are so organized and diligent! Even so, it still took 5 hours to complete the move. OMG! The other company would of took twice as long, and the bill would of been $700 more. I'm so relieved I cautiously spotted the snare of over commercializing and the pretentious facade they portray.... Now yes, I finally found out the "book" they all read: the Bible. It was a pleasant trajectory of discovery. Seeing a bunch of "brothers" up in my crib, I thought they would like some rap music. They kindly asked me to change the genere to something more appropriate. Going on, everyone's demeanor was so meek and humble! When the owner stepped away and I stepped in to help manage, there was no grunt, "don't tell me what to do" recalcitrant behavior at all. They actually looked to me for direction! One visceral aspect you just can't describe in words is the glow you see in their eyes that can only come from a higher power. Little did I know that they really are BROTHERS: they're all the same immediate family. Like, they didn't say "cuz", but "cousin", with no urban dialect. They also belong to a very devout Christian religion. Just how devout? Let me tell you that I had one remaining $20 bill and wasn't sure who was left. I asked the manager if they will be honest; he just looked at me with that smile. All 5 came forward and told me that Nate was the only one left. What honesty! Yes, this is the type you can trust with your children and belongings; and your money! My only critique was a that I believe their name just doesn't do them justice. I would refer to them as: Five Guys Making Moving Strive. Let me tell you: the only other place you'll get five guys for their hourly rate is an employment agency!; no further explanation needed: best deal and best moving experience you'll ever have! They did a great job moving my 2 bedroom apartment into a storage unit. Extremely professional, very nice, and accommodating movers. I had about 6 men help us out and I was extremely pleased with the swiftness of the move. They knew how to wrap well, they knew how to move well, and they knew how to communicate with each other efficiently. They treated all our furniture and items with utmost respect and care and they put all our items in the storage promptly and efficiently. The moving crew arrived on time at the apartment and had everything moved, packed, and wrapped in 30 mins!! They were extremely fast and nice! They were careful with all of furniture and anything that was fragile! Once we arrived at the new apartment, they were quick to bring everything up and place it whenever we needed it to be! Rushed job. Kept mentioning other jobs they had to get to (highly unprofessional). Didn't pack some items as promised(eg. boxed) causing damage. On the other hand, packed items that they were clearly told (and they acknowledged) not to pack. Disorganized storage of items as well. read more

I have never dealt with a better moving company in my life. I honestly didn't know one like this could exist. Kevin and his team did an amazing job and put up with all my constant communication. They did what other movers took 3 hours to do in 1 and a half. These guys are not your regular movers. From showing up 15 minutes early and letting me know they were on their way. To making sure everything was wrapped and carefully taken care of. They even went above and beyond on furniture placement. Book these guys now, you will not be disappointed.
