Well... the ozone from the furnace room disintegrated the soles on the brand new shoes and the soles came apart in chunks. Panic. So we look for shoe stores and Comfort One shoes up on Yelp. We had low expectations as military adaptable shoes are old Oxford types. But among the dozens of models of trendy, comfortable, and casual shoes, there were actually three models of oxfords. The attendant was superb. Patient and friendly. As expected, new European shoes are not cheap. But the value was tremendous. High quality, comfy and well fitting. We left quite happy. Excellent and friendly service and great value.

I need to report an extremely disturbing experience at a Nordstrom Rack store during a recent visit…read morewith my husband. We were shopping for outfits for our son's graduation, which should have been a positive and memorable occasion. Instead, I was subjected to unprofessional, confrontational, and ultimately abusive behavior by a fitting room associate. Upon approaching the fitting room, I followed the associate's directions regarding where to place my cart, although her instructions were inconsistent and unclear. Inside the dressing room, I found a shirt that had been left behind by a previous customer. After trying on approximately seven items, I returned them to hangers and exited the fitting room. At that point, the associate demanded that I remove and hang the shirt that I had not brought into the dressing room. I explained that it was not mine. She became visibly frustrated, entered the room herself, and then shifted her focus to insisting that I return all of my items to the exact locations on the sales floor where I had found them. I placed the clothing neatly on the rack provided near the fitting room, which is standard practice in most retail stores. I declined to return the items to the sales floor, as that is typically handled by store staff to ensure proper organization. The situation escalated significantly when the associate followed me out of the fitting area and toward the front of the store, continuing to confront me. She then called me a "horrible human being" and used an additional demeaning term toward me. Racially motivated ! Being followed and verbally insulted while exiting the store was both shocking and unacceptable. I think she forgot what her job actually was and that was too curate the clothing, and to rehang them up she had the nerve to continue following me and would have exited the store to follow me. Had someone else stopped her I am a 50-year-old customer who has shopped in retail stores my entire life, and I have never experienced anything remotely like this. This interaction was not only unprofessional but crossed the line into harassment. this incident be investigated thoroughly. No customer should be treated in this manner under any circumstances. I would also appreciate a response outlining what steps will be taken to address this situation and ensure it does not happen to others. Huge thumbs down to this store and this horrible little twit

This was a Lion and Tigers and Bears OH MY situation! It's quite crowded in here. Not cluttered but crowded. They have soooo much stuff and it's all in order. This place could be 2-3 floors easy!! I saw all of my fav brands at great prices. They have a huge selection of high-end wear for a great price. They have a huge selection of summer, spring and winter wear. The cosmetics and body care... chef's kiss!! They have everything in every color/ scent/ size!! Cool accessories, luggage galore, etc. I did not take a gander at the shoes as I had a show nearby to attend. I bought 2 gorge blouses and a short sleeve loose fitting denim blue top. I'm a huge collector of sneakers, so having the opportunity to attend such a convention was such a treat! I love that it was super local and it was opened for anyone with any range of interest to attend - you just need to purchase a ticket! There were also some celebrity guests (DeSean Jackson and DJ QuickSilva), and with the ticket purchase, one had a meet & greet opportunity with both individuals :D There was also a $500 grand prize for the best pair of shoes that were sported! It was great to see sneaker fanatics in one place and to network and make new friends with fellow sneaker lovers. After measuring my feet and looking at the shoes I was wearing, my excellent salesperson immediately suggested another brand, Saucony. And brought out my size of that as well as a couple sizes of Altra, and later a sales priced pair of Brooks. I decided the Saucony was sufficiently more comfortable to be worth the higher price, once he had also sold me on getting new inserts that were shallower near those toes. I've now walked 4 miles in them a couple times, just walked a couple, and I love them -- if I'd been wearing the Brooks, I would have soreness in the toes about now.

Yesterday I happen to visit your ALLEN EDMONDS STORE located in the DEL AMO FASHION CENTER MALL-21540 Hawthorne Blvd. #405B , Torrance, Ca. 90503 (Date of Visit  Feb.4,2025 TIME -Afternoon) *Store Manager -Regi Ross Rayfield We walked in the store due to the attraction of the shoes I witness in the storefront and immediately notice that first of all we were the only customers present and Mr. Regi Ross Rayfield was totally focused in the corner of the store taking care of paper work and bagging some small items. Not ONCE did he LOOK UP , SMILE OR ACKNOWLEDGED us while we roam around viewing for about 5-10 mins. I stated to my wife this guy must realize we are here viewing the shoes I don't understand what is problem is. So finally has I finally made it a point to move closer to the area that he was "glued " to he finally made eye contact and I stated to him Hello I was wondering if you were going to acknowledge me. So his response was ,while still walking away like he was soo busy I DON'T RESPOND BECAUSE PEOPLE USUALLY JUST COME IN AND THEY JUST WANT TO WALK AROUND AND VIEW OUR SHOES . I did not respond to him after that comment and continue to walk around and at the end of viewing I ask him for a business card and left the store. Now all that time from start to finish we were the only customers in the store. I told my wife this "takes the cake" that is no way to communicate to customers at all and I can"t believe he is a manager. If I was in charge he would no longer have that title and he would be retrain in Customer Service or simply fired. I just had a very poor experience with customer service, as I explained that my last five purchases of casual boots/shoes were delivered with very poor shoe laces. The lady went on to tell me that since I used the shoes, the shoe laces were not Allen Edmond's fault. The product is going down hill in this area, almost as fast as the customer service.
