What a Great Find! It was approaching sundown and we didn't want to make the 2.5 hour trip to Mohave AZ in the dark of night so we happened into this Comfort Suites and WOWZA! It was way better than I expected. Kyle greeted us, answered my questions and explained that Comfort Suites is a "luxury" step up from Comfort Inn & Suites! That was good to know! Room was clean, spacious and quiet. Also there were several food choices nearby. And a decent complimentary breakfast. For $98 (AAA/AARP) it was a deal! Nice place to spend the night while headed down the road. Breakfast is included and is actually pretty good. The selection is nice. The air conditioner is difficult to get dialed in. I just keep finding better and better comfort inns. This was the best yet. Nice comfy cushy bed. I almost overslept is was so good. Nice big room set up for those of us that need all our electronics to be happy on the road and free Internet. Breakfast was good, they even had BACON! Nobody ever has bacon even though you can buy it already cooked. In room coffee, microwave and fridge. This room would be good for a longer stay, I was an overnighter. Super clean. It was great to find this in a small town. Breakfast was good (for being free) and the staff was super friendly. One thing... I thought the room we had with two queen beds was a bit cramped. The beds are too big for the space and the one close to the window was literally 4 inches from the AirCon vent. My family and I stayed here on the way to Las Vegas....and this place is clean, and their breakfast "buffet" is good! They have a lot of outlets for us to charge our many electronic phones and equipment. My granddaughter and I used their pool in the late afternoon until the early evening, and the water is nice and warm. The pool area was also clean. This place is located very near an outlet mall, which is also a plus. Workers (from front desk to breakfast servers) were nice and behaved professionally. read more

My family and I have stayed here many times while passing through Barstow. It is a very nice hotel but one of the main reasons I stay here is because I need the disabled room. These rooms are nice with large bathrooms and walk-in showeThey are also one of the few places that accept cats--most per-friendly hotels only allow dogs. We were very happy with our stay at Comfort Suites. Reception was accommodating and happy to provide all requests. The hallways and rooms were sparkling clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. It was quiet all night. And, the hotel is very close to a variety of restaurants. Finally, the complimentary breakfast was amazing. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, yogurt, cereal, fruits, juices, and a selection of toast muffins, and bagels. I got a great deal with the internet price for the room. We stopped here for the night, on our way to Henderson. After entering through the double sliding doors you are welcomed to a nice front desk/lounge area, complete with a fireplace. There is a large desk, with two chairs, that serves as a business center. (Two computers, printer/fax combo, scanner and supplies) The dining area is spacious and clean with "A" rating posted on the wall. The breakfast selection is pretty good: bagel, muffins, cereal, simple cheese omelets, sausage, bacon and four kinds of juice, etc. read more

When you walk into the lobby of this hotel, it's very welcoming and homey. The front desk associate was very helpful and it felt like I was a guest in their own home. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, I was surprised to see they had a flat screen T.V. They also offer a great breakfast in the morning with plenty of options like eggs, bacon, and waffles, that would satisfy anyone's appetite. Excellent hotel! We arrived late and tired, but the woman at the front desk was upbeat and welcoming (even with a long line of guests checking in). The hotel room was very clean and neat. The breakfast was the usual (bacon, waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit), but enough variety that we each found enough to satisfy us. Each employee that we came across had polite, happy, professional attitudes. This place was SOOOOO much better than the 4-star hotel we had stayed at in Vegas! read more

My husband & I were on our way to Vegas when we had car troubles, decided to get a room and Marissa was amazing, she upgraded us, brought up a crib and extra bedding for our son & was all around great!! So my husband and I were so impressed with this hotel until we got home 3 days later and saw our bank statement... they charged us $60 more than they said, when I called to find out what happened and have them remove the over charge the Manager that was clearly wrong said they charged us for PILLOWS! WTF?!?! PILLOWS the Manager was there when we checked out and was leaving her shift she knows we had no pillows, only a couple carry on size bags and a baby!! Wow went from the best hotel to the worst in no time flat!! If they comp you something beware they figure a way to charge you in the end... how sad!!! read more

While driving back from Las Vegas on Sunday morning at 3:00a my friends car breaks down leaving us stranded. We walked over to comfort suites and they were very accommodating. Jack was very helpful and gave us a good rate for the night. To be honest the rooms were nicer that the ones we stayed at in Vegas and we slept soundly for 4 hours while waiting for my girlfriend to drive up and pick us up. I am an evacuee from the Blue Cut fire and called all over VV to find a pet friendly hotel that wouldn't gouge me with their prices. The staff here have been great and very accommodating. The room is spacious and very comfy and I am so grateful to the staff for their compassion and concern for my "Comfort". To top it off they had a great breakfast included and I can work from my room due to their free wifi. I hope I don't have to come back under these conditions but if I do have to evac again I know where I am going. My husband and I booked this hotel for a quick stop on a road trip. We ended up at this location because we have a large dog we were traveling with and they didn't have weight restrictions. The pet fee was only $25 a night which I found very reasonable compared to certain other hotels. The rooms and common areas were clean and in good repair. The price was reasonable and the staff was very friendly. They have a complementary breakfast each morning which had a good variety of options. read more

Two stars because the night manager was very kind. Got into my room late and sheets in bed in front of tv were obviously not changed, with hair all over the pillow. I slept in the other bed which seemed clean. Told this guy who added 5000 points to our awards account. Great AAA rate ($101) but not so great dog fee ($25). However, after driving until 2am (Cali time) which is typically 5 am (our time)... This was the first hotel (besides 1 or 2 star motels) we could find in miles and miles. Comfy beds, free wifi, huge room, fridge, microwave... All that good stuff but also a nice safe calm atmosphere. We heard a few dogs barking in the middle of the night but that's not the hotels fault. Right after the exit for this hotel, I had a tire blow out and mess up my bumper pretty bad so my car had to be towed. The police that stopped and helped me called the hotel to make sure they were pet friendly and they were!! I was dropped off at the hotel and from the minute I walked in, the staff was amazing! They gave me a great rate on a huge room for my dog and I. The room was extremely clean and bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good the next morning too. They unfortunately don't have a shuttle service, but the staff at the front desk called and got a taxi for me to take to the car rental place. Every staff member I came across was very nice and accommodating and loved on my dog too. I would highly recommend staying here if you're in the area or have car trouble along the interstate. read more

Yes, it's new, but the outdoor pools on a warm desert night made it a real treat. Having the hide-a-bed and the dressing area outside the bathroom made it convenient for a family. Being right next door to a Flying J with restaurant allowed us to walk to supper...without getting back into the car. Breakfast was good. read more

Spent a sleepless night on Christmas Day 2011, while the room next door partied on despite two call to the front desk. Next morning I requested a refund and was told I should have called once more and that the people next door had paid for a room and had a right to party all night. I was offer a 10% rebate. Called coporate Choice Hotels International and they just blew off my complaint. read more
