At 3PM when we had not heard from anyone, we called again, saying we had no heat. This time, we were told that our call was being referred to a manager, who would call right away. the temperature outside was 30 degrees and in our home it was about 50 degrees. No one ever called. Ever. We are not unreasonable people. We certainly understand if the company did not have a technician available to help us on a weekend. But it is not right to tell folks with no heat to expect assistance if it is not coming. We are very disappointed.

They came by to let us know what the issue was, then, after we had the flooring ripped up after a leak detection company marked off where it was, they came with the jackhammer and tore up our cement. Unfortunately, the leak wasn't where detection had marked it. I'm grateful Stephen was find enough to come in on what was supposed to be his day off the next day to continue after we took up the rest of the wood overnight. They did a great job at locating the leak, fixing it, explaining what might have happened to cause it, filling the hole back up and covering it with cement. This time, he arrived within an hour after I called in to say our furnace was not producing heat. He discovered spiderwebs inside the outdoor heat pump had blocked the transmission of data from the heat pump to the furnace. A first for me! He, of course, had seen it before. Once he had cleaned out all the webbing from the inside of the heat pump, the pump came back to life, and we had heat again. Art Newsome is the greatest HVAC company.
