These guys are my saviors. I was traveling to California with my wife and two twin toddlers and of-course given my luck, I ended up having a flat tire. I called my insurance company and the soonest eta they gave me with their providers was 120 minutes. Also, they stated because I am out of state, I would have to pay an additional out of pocket fee to compensate on top of what my insurance already covered. Ofcourse I agreed because what choice do I have but then I called a few companies and they stated the same thing and the prices were astronomical. Finally, I called Commerce Towing and spoke with Jake and after I explained to him my situation, he gave me a price and eta that was honestly too good to be true. At first, I was definitely skeptical until 45 minutes passed by and I saw a Commerce Tow Truck headed my way. The driver stepped out of the vehicle and he was super professional and empathetic of my situation. He had me hooked up and out of the blazing desert heat in no time. I called back to my insurance to let them know to cancel it and just out of curiosity, I asked them for an eta still and they were still 2 hours out. I got a drink from gas station and went to bathroom . Came out to find they towed my car. Get to place and charge me over $400 to get my car and make me wait over an hour and I was the only person in line at the time. This place is scamming people and over charging . I asked to reduce the price since I was a customer of where I borrowed and the wouldn't reduce the price. They also charge more to pick up your car on weekend . Their driver, Luis, was particularly outstanding. I was stranded up at Lee Canyon, got a ride to make a call. I was given Commerce towing from my Insurance so I called to confirm my location and if they needed any more information. I was told by Commerce that they would be there in 45min to hour and instructed me to wait with my vehicle, a location that had no cell service was assured they were in route. Over 2 hrs later had to catch another ride to call them, they cancelled my tow, stating snow, the roads were bone dry free of any snow. I had another tow company (Builders) who was very Professional and had my car in the shop within an hour. Commerce will leave you stranded. read more

I have requested a tow for my motorcycle leaving me stranded on the side of the road, and commerce auto towing was assigned through my insurance, after waiting for them for 50 minutes in the 100+ degrees heat, I received a text message saying they can no longer complete my tow request and I needed to wait for another tow company. this is probably the worst tow company and two experience I've ever had. I highly recommend to use another tow company, because this one definitely doesn't care about people. read more

Crappy company. I broke down on the road and by chance a driver pulled up next to me right after my incident. He was very kind and offering help right aways. The good ended there. He was unable to tow my vehicle with his truck. (Not his fault) so he called his dispatcher to get us a flatbed. He said they would be there within 45 minutes. Well 50 minutes pass and no sign of a flatbed. We called to see what is happening and the dispatcher has no idea what is going on. He literally forgot to send our truck. He says he will have someone there within 10 minutes. The original guy came in his original truck, still unable to tow us. He was nice enough again; but just left and told us his other truck is over an hour out. These people are extremely unorganized and the dispatcher was rude and short tempered. SCAMMERS. They are full on running a scam out of a busy lot. Coming after this company, there was a small sign that multiple people did not see. It was on a white wall with a white sign not attached to the area. The smallest sign they could make. They are basically running a scam from this lot, knowing people can not see the tiny sign on the white wall, by law the sign has to be contrasting. My car started having axle issues in a slightly rougher part of town and I called bmw assist who sent Robert. The dispatch person was quick and friendly. He called me when Robert was 10 mins out. Total wait time was no more than 15 mins. Robert is the best!! He waited for my Uber to get there and told me I could sit in my air conditioned car. He even asked what was wrong with the car and if he could hear the clunky sound. He gave me a clue of what it could be. Even popped the hood. All in all it took 5 mins of his time to do all the extra things he didn't have to give me an amazing experience! He even said I hope the rest of your day goes better. Very considerate. read more

The tow driver, Javier, went above and beyond getting my car from the airport to my home. The airport gave him a TON of grief about paying my $13 in parking fees (didn't occur to me to give him money for the ticket.) Javier tried to use his card but they wouldn't take it. We were already in an Uber on the way home and had to turn and go back to the airport. Javier waited for me to arrive and was so calm about it, he calmed me down! It was his last job of the day and he had every right to leave my car and go home, but he stayed with the car and completed the tow. I had to contact Audi Roadside Assistance because of a flat tire. While on vacation, ugh. So Audi contracted these jackwads to come tow my car to the dealer. Their first estimate said 45-60 minutes, which is expected. Went back to our hotel room and waited. Then got a phone call from some rude as*hole from Commerce Towing, saying it will actually be a 90 minute wait! He also added about 20 minutes to the time I actually called them, so he blatantly lied about that, probably to fudge their numbers for response time. He also said it's their "policy" that you cannot ride along in the truck. "Covid" and all that bullshit, even though we are well past that. So we are waiting, and waiting... the 90 minutes comes up and Audi texts me asking if they arrived. I respond "No" and they contact Commerce Towing again. They reply back that it's ANOTHER 20+ minutes away. So after waiting TWO GODDAMN HOURS, the truck finally arrives. The driver is actually really friendly, and he says he doesn't know about that "no ride along" policy, but if the dispatch said I'm not allowed to ride along, he has to abide by his boss. He gets my car to the dealer pretty quickly. Except now I have to pay another $21 for an Uber to take me to the dealer since these JACKASSES don't let you ride with them. Was not able to start our 2014 jeep Patriot, was at the new Casino Darango,we actually lived 21 miles away,was worried to death, insurance sent request to commerce towing,we talked to the dispatcher,we had a driver in about 30 minutes,the person was beyond expatiation! My insurance company selected Commerce Auto Towing to tow my vehicle that was just in a major accident. I received a text stating the tow truck was dispatched and the truck would arrive in 90 - 120 minutes. I called to follow up with Commerce Auto Towing and explain that the vehicle was blocking a busy intersection. They informed me we could not leave the vehicle. Two hours after the truck was supposedly dispatched, my insurance company called Commerce Auto Towing to follow up on where the truck was at and when they expected it to arrive. Commerce Auto Towing stated the driver just dropped a vehicle off at their facility and was enroute to the vehicle location. At 2 hours and 40 minutes since the driver was supposedly dispatched, I called Commerce Auto Towing to find out what was going on, remind them the vehicle was blocking traffic, and to let them know my pregnant wife needed to go to urgent care to get lower back and abdominal pain checked out. They stated we could leave the key somewhere in the vicinity of the car and we could leave for the urgent care. We were told at that time the truck was dropping another tow off and would be enroute in 20 more minutes and then it would take them 30 minutes to arrive. So at 3 hours and 30 minutes after the truck was "initially dispatched" the driver was supposed to be at the scene loading the vehicle up and then transporting it to the collision repair company. I arrived at the collision repair company 5 hours after the truck was supposedly initially dispatched and the vehicle still wasn't on the tow truck. When I called to inquire about what was going on, Commerce Auto Towing was extremely defensive, unsympathetic, and was very argumentative about the entire chain of events described above. The Commerce Auto Towing employee was screaming and yelling at other employees a out what they should and shouldn't have done in this situation.
